Post a testimonial for Whitney Holsey

We highly recommend Whitney! Having Whitney made our birth process much more stress and worry free and she was immensely helpful in both solidifying our birth plan and helping us while in the hospital. We highly recommend getting a doula overall and further highly recommend Whitney!

We had the privilege of working with Whitney as our backup doula, and even though we had never met before, she immediately put us at ease. She jumped right in, introduced herself, and shared a little about her family and experience, which helped us feel comfortable during such an important moment.
Throughout labor, she was so attentive—monitoring the baby’s heart rate and my contractions while allowing my husband and me to rest. She even helped me into a Spinning Babies position during my nap to encourage baby into the best position for delivery. She also prepared me mentally in case a c-section became necessary (thankfully it wasn’t), which was incredibly reassuring.
When it came time to deliver, her support was invaluable. She reminded me to trust myself and not second-guess, and she physically supported me—holding my leg despite her own discomfort and later holding my hand as the staff worked to deliver my placenta. Her presence was steady, compassionate, and encouraging.
Whitney’s care didn’t stop at delivery. She came over for a postpartum visit, where she patiently answered all of our new-parent questions. She showed us how to better swaddle our baby, gave tips on how to manage feedings when our little one would fall asleep after just one breast, and even helped us check our car seat to ensure our baby was safely positioned.
Overall, we are deeply grateful to have had Whitney as our doula. She brought relief, knowledge, and comfort to both of us, and we’re so glad it worked out the way it did.

It's hard to overstate how valuable Whitney was during my labor and delivery experience. Whitney was supportive and continually checked in with me on what I was feeling, and communicated effectively with the nurses when she thought things were moving to the next phase. As a first-time mother there was a lot I did not know and Whitney was there to answer questions and reassure me that everything was normal and progressing well. I am so grateful that Whitney was with me for this process.

Whitney took exceptional care of our newborn. As first time parents, we wanted to find someone who could guide us in welcoming our baby into our lives. Whitney taught us valuable skills and knowledge that helped us care for our son and establish a schedule during the day and night. In addition to this, she also took care of me, the mom, by helping me with small household tasks, breastfeeding challenges, and making time for selfcare. If you are looking for a highly knowledgeable and experienced doula in newborn care, child development, and post partum care I highly recommend Whitney.

Whitney provided exceptional care for my newborn and myself. She was amazing with my daughter and gave myself and my husband the opportunity to get some overnight rest. She also supported me with breastfeeding and additional baby care tips. I cannot thank Whitney enough for being there for our family!

Whitney is so caring and nurturing to our daughter. She also cares for the entire family, not just the newest member. Whitney has helped us with whatever we needed including emotional support. We loved having Whitney help us these few months is unmatched. We're going to miss her and know that she will be amazing for any family that she helps.

Whitney is amazing. My husband ruptured his Achilles and was no longer able to help with his typivcal baby duties, so we asked Whitney to provide night nurse support a few nights a week so that Momma (me!) could get some uninterrupted sleep. We have a 9 month old, and while he's usually good at night, he does sometimes like to throw in a 2am wake up call!
My husband was initially nervous about having someone he didn't know in the house all night, and thought maybe our baby was too old for these services, but Whitney put us right at ease. In fact, after his first meeting with her, my husband said "I feel an immediate trust, and am so glad she's here to help you out when I can't." Our baby loves her too - she's a natural with children, and her support has help me be a better Mom during this crazy time.
