We've loved working with Amy as we adjust to life with our new baby, who is now 3 months old. Amy came within a week of us returning from the hospital and helped us set up changing stations in multiple spots in the house and organize key items in those areas. She also showed us how to use some of the things we had but hadn't opened yet, such as baby carriers/wraps. Amy also helped us meal plan and always cleans/cooks when she is over while the baby is asleep. She does great with our baby and we takes him on walks, plays with him, etc. It's been so helpful to have her help and be able to get out of the house/ go to the gym/ shower or nap, and just get things done while she is here!

We are so grateful to have hired Amy while welcoming our third daughter. Having been through it before I knew how valuable and necessary having help during those first weeks can be. Right away I felt at ease with Amy and believe she truly enjoyed supporting me and our family during the transition. She talked sweetly to our newborn when she thought no one could hear her and tidyied up the house while I got to take some time for myself. She was especially talented at helping me meal prep for dinner.

Waking up from a nap to the smell of food and a tidy house made me feel like I had my Mom there taking care of me! Sometimes it can be hard to ask for the help you need (thanks society), without feeling guilty about it. Amy is so invested in your wellbeing and self-care time that it allows to get what you need without the guilt. Another thing to mention is that we considered going through a doula agency, but they take a major cut financially. Amy is professional, reliable and kind - we highly recommend.

Amy was a warm and supportive presence, extremely reliable, a good communicator, and always diligent about attuning to where we were in our postpartum journey by checking in with our needs for the day when she arrived, and soliciting our feedback as she gained experience and intuition about how to best support us (we worked with her at the beginning of her doula career). She was very eager to learn and adapt, and was always receptive to our input and ideas. Most days, we asked her to wear our baby in a front-pack and prep and cook meals for us while we rested, took baths, and got outside for gentle movement. Money well spent!

Amy proved an invaluable doula during my son's first six weeks of life. Her joy and excitement to support me and my newborn brought a comforting and empowering energy to our lives. In our first session, Amy helped me organize my thoughts and priorities around what I wanted to achieve during this sacred postpartum phase. Throughout our sessions together, she gently reminded me of my priorities and helped me remove obstacles and create the space I needed to realize them.  During moments of stress and uncertainty with our infant, Amy gently helped me tune into my instincts and affirmed my intuitions as a new mom. She also coached my husband and I on soothing our infant and helped him see how he could better support me as I navigated this new territory.   I would recommend Amy to any mother looking to be nurtured, supported, and encouraged during this sacred journey as a new mom.

How fortunate we were to have Amy help our family! She is so kind and gentle. I was able to get a much needed break because her calm confidence with my baby relieved my anxiety so much.

Amy started working with us when our second baby was about six weeks old.  She has been invaluable as we have transitioned to a family of four and as I have been preparing to return to work full time.  She is excellent at soothing the baby and can get her to sleep.  I have been able to nap, shower, and run errands while Amy takes care of the baby.  She has also prepped meals, cleaned the kitchen, and run errands for us.  She has provided information and brought resources on baby sleep and bottle feeding.  We have been frantically trying to get our opinionated breastfeeding baby to accept a bottle before I start working and Amy has been helping with the process, providing much-needed calm and patience, in addition to tips and tricks.  She is empathetic, compassionate, and a great listener, and has provided emotional support.  She is also very easy-going and we have felt very comfortable with her from the beginning.  She is great with our toddler and he frequently asks when she will be coming back.  We are so grateful to have Amy's support during this wonderful but very challenging time in our lives.  I strongly recommend Amy to anyone with a new baby!

Amy acted as a post partum doula for me and my son for his first four weeks of life and I truly don't know what I would have done without her. After he was born, she came to the hospital to meet him and check in with me about how I was feeling and what I needed. Amy was so easy to talk to and encouraging and supportive of my needs. She was excited to meet our little one and knowledgable about how to care for him.  Once we were home, Amy came over multiple times. She was often able to figure out what I needed without me having to tell her and helped in a myriad of ways: washing dishes and preparing food, offering advice or information about my baby's development, holding or feeding the baby so that I could have a break and take care of myself, giving my husband tips on how to care for me as I cared for the baby, etc.

I loved having Amy as my postpartum doula and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other parents!

Amy was such a blessing as I struggled with being a new mom to a newborn who didn't know how to eat!  What stands out the most is how comfortable Amy was in her support role to me,  which made me feel safe to allow her to enter into such a vulnerable experience with me and help along the way.  Her deep love for babies and support for moms is remarkable.
