I picked Elaine as my doula when I was only 7 weeks pregnant. I knew going into this pregnancy that I wanted to have a VBAC following my first traumatic birth experience. I met with a few different doulas, but Elaine immediately stood out because she talked to me like I was her friend. I could tell she would be someone I could trust and feel comfortable enough with to have as support during labor.

While I did not have a successful VBAC, my birth was still nothing short of successful and Elaine doesn’t let me forget it. When you a hire a doula, it is not just for you. Secondary birth trauma is real and I knew this time I wanted to have someone my husband could trust in the room too. Elaine was support for my whole family before, during, and after labor. Things were great and then things got scary fast. Elaine answered my questions, held my hand, hugged my mom while she cried, reassured my husband, and affirmed me and my choices all at the same time. She was the rock we all needed and she was somehow able to provide everything to all of us at once. There are not enough words to sum up how thankful we are for her. If you are thinking about hiring a doula, you can not go wrong with her.

From the first time I met Eliane ?? even if I had two other interviews I knew she would be my doula. The answers she had all the questions. I asked how genuine she was. The first time I met her she met on my husband, so comfortable, which made me so happy just one of the things I was scared of was not being comfortable with my Doula. Thank you Eliane ?? for all your support all through my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Thank you for the food, the gift, the love and making me realize what I want from life. Everyone who come across you is so blessed and I hope moreget to experience a beautiful birth  like I did.

Very similar to what Ashley, the other reviewer, said. Elaine is beyond what you could ask for in a doula. I, too, knew that she was the gal for us during our zoom meeting. I believe everyone has an aura and hers shined through from the first moment. Not to mention, my daughter naturally gravitated to her at the first prenatal visit and she doesn't normally do that (a little shy). The sacrifices Elaine makes taking time from her family to support her clients is honorable. We love ya Elaine! Thank you for all you've done; snacks, support, reassurance, bonding, everything.

Of the million decisions I made around pregnancy and birth, working with Elaine may have been the best one. I cannot recommend her highly enough. From our first video chat I knew she was the doula meant to support me during the birth of my daughter. Elaine's soft spoken voice and gentle approach was just what I needed in my birthing space. During labor, she seemed to have a near-magic ability to be present when she was needed and to fade into the background at other times. She matched my dim lights, low tones just perfectly. And when I needed, Elaine was bold, knowing my vision and spoke up for me during a time I lost my sense of direction. She places herself as a client-friend, not just another client birth to attend. And to me that made all the difference. Elaine is also a Godsend during those early postpartum days. She made many visits, bringing delicious, nourishing meals and held space for me while she was over. How amazing can one person get?!
Thank you so much Elaine for all that you are and do. I cannot imagine birthing another baby unless I can have you on my team before, during, and after.
