My husband and I interviewed many night doulas, but something about their energy felt sterile. The second we met Teresa, we knew we'd found our person. Teresa's warmth, authenticity, and true love of the job (and babies!) came through instantly, even over Zoom. Even before I delivered, Teresa just wanted to help - hopping on multiple calls to chat through preparation and recommend products to purchase, sending us check-in texts, and just being so caring and involved. We used her services after I delivered last October for about 6 weeks, and I honestly don't know how we'd have done it without her. Teresa always arrived early to catch up on the day, teach us about baby care (today I still use some of the calming techniques she showed us!), and just get settled in. She really is the baby-whisperer; my daughter sensed her energy and instantly calmed down around her. We felt so cared for on all fronts - not just from dramatically improved sleep, but from Teresa sharing her (massive) baby knowledge and being there to reassure us and answer all our new-parent questions. And just from her supportive, friendly, and kind personality, especially during an emotional / challenging post-partum time!

Teresa was the mom I needed when my own mom had to return home. I can't recommend her enough - she is the best!!

Teresa cared for our son overnight starting the night we got back from the hospital until he was 4 months old (she was supposed to taper off after a couple of months but we begged her to stay longer).  We could not have asked for anything more.  She was a completely trusted set of hands with our son - he absolutely loved her and would light up when she arrived, and she truly cared for him like he was her own.  She really went above and beyond - she was always early and helped answer all our parenting questions before we went to bed; she brought our son little toys she knew he would like; she left our home spotless and found little things to tidy up even when we didn't ask.  She was also so good to me and helped me get through middle of the night pumps and all the other postpartum woes.  We love her!!

Teresa has been a godsend for our family, and if you're still looking around for Doulas, stop now and just book her! She started working with us a couple of days after our first child's birth, through roughly 3.5 months old. At baseline Teresa is highly reliable: showing up roughly 15m early everytime to debrief on changes, logging all events overnight, and staying a few minutes late to again debrief. But much beyond this, Teresa acted as a loving caretaker ("third parent"), incredible teacher to two new parents, and a supportive friend. To our baby, she was loving, gentle, pateient, and highly communicative. In the first few weeks of constant feedings and changing, Teresa always showed up excited and positive, happily talking to our child, and working nonstop to keep her clean and happy. As she aged, Teresa kept an eye on growth markers and engaged deeply with our baby when she was awake to entertain, talk and listen. To us as parents, Teresa was an unforgettable teacher - we genuinly learned how to talk to our daughter from Teresa, we learned tips on diapering, handling purple crying (oh the Happy Song!), entertaining a bored baby with textures, caring for dry skin, handling diaper rash, making friends with new parents, setting up a bed time routine, and so so much more. Teresa was a full textbook of knowledge, with advice delivered in a warm and encouraging manor. Our daughter progressed smoothly through her first few months, and I attribute a large part to the continual feedback and advice from Teresa. Finally, it was amazing to see that Teresa proactively helped with tasks around the house: folding baby clothes, loading/unloading bottle wash, and unloading our dishes. We never needed to ask, Teresa genuinly enjoys finding ways to help.

We are so grateful for choosing Teresa and having her support; our only wish would have been to keep working with her longer!

Teresa was an amazing addition to our family in the first 12 newborn weeks. She made us feel loved and cared for and seamlessly supported our breastfeeding journey. She taught us so much about newborn care and showed us ways to play with our baby and show him love. Teresa helped establish great sleep hygiene from the start; our son slept in his crib from day 2 and has continued to be a good sleeper now that he is 13 months old. She also helped get him used to bottles. 

Working with Teresa made us better parents. We had enough sleep to be our best selves and really cherish the first few weeks. Since we were not sleep deprived early on and knew we had consistent support, the benefits carried forward. I was able to recover from birth smoothly, our relationship stayed strong, we had established a pattern of caring for ourselves, and transitioning to daycare was easier since we had a great example of childcare.

We highly recommend a night doula in general and Teresa specifically!

Teresa cared for our son Desmond during the first 3.5 months of his life — which, if you've never experienced a newborn, is basically a sleep-deprived fever dream. Teresa was our lifeline.

First and foremost: she stayed awake ALL night. Every night. While we, two fully grown adults, passed out the moment our heads hit the pillow, Teresa was wide awake watching over Desmond like the world's most dedicated night-shift superhero. We slept. Deeply. It was glorious.

She also came loaded with great ideas and was incredibly helpful around the house — doing dishes, chatting through all the "wait, is this normal??" new mom moments, and generally making us feel like we had it more together than we actually did. (We did not have it together. Teresa just made it look that way.)

And the communication! Always responsive, always professional, always on top of things — from supporting us through the birth process to keeping us informed every step of the way. She made chaos feel manageable.

But perhaps most importantly: Teresa once brought us candy from the corner store. Unprompted. In the thick of newborn survival mode, that bag of candy was basically a five-star meal. It was the kindness that broke us (in the best way).

Teresa is warm, reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful. We would recommend her to any family — especially exhausted ones who also enjoy candy.

Having Teresa after the arrival of our first child was the single best prep decision we made! From day 1, Teresa was a wealth of knowledge, support and kindness. She guided us on all things newborn and even had great tips for us adults transitioning into parenthood. As a new mom, I especially appreciated her empathy and reassurance to focus on my own self care during this time. She allowed me to get much needed sleep while feeling relaxed that my child was in good hands. Our kiddo was sleeping long stretches of the night by 3 months under Teresa's care! Now 12+ months later, we attribute the consistency of our baby's sleep habits to Teresa laying the foundation from the very start. Highly recommend!

We were so lucky to have Teresa as our night doula! She had such an integral role in our positive postpartum experience. We didn't have a night doula with our first child and after experiencing the sleep deprivation and exhaustion we knew we wanted to find the support and help the second time around.  We truly couldn’t have found a better person for the job!  It was truly life changing having her help the first few months. It made my postpartum experience so much more enjoyable to have her by our sides from day one. Teresa is filled with so much wisdom and experience regarding babies, sleep, feeding and so much more. We couldn’t recommend Teresa enough and would definitely love to work with her again in the future.

Working with Teresa has been an absolute dream. She is one of those providers that you simply cannot top. She is warm, communicative, and so so incredibly talented. I reccomend her to each and every one of my clients who needs overnight support I cannot accomodate. When I tell you Teresa is GIFT to the Seattle postpartum community I truly MEAN it. I tell my clients I would trust Teresa with MY own children if I were to have them and they can too. Her professionalism, background, and immense community impact makes her unparalled provider. If you have a question about it she has seen it, done it, conquered it.
