I have been providing doula services for over a year with birthing gently’s BWH/MGH volunteer doula program. This summer I worked as a doula with Manos Abiertas, a natural birth center that serves women in rural Guatemala. I also volunteer with MassNOW and have worked with them to raise awareness of period poverty and women’s health disparities
Our regular birth doula fee is $2700. Our team believes strongly that everyone who wants a doula should have one, so we offer a reduced fee of $675 for clients who receive MassHealth. The service and support provided by our team are identical at both price points. Our postpartum doula fees are $44-$53 per hour, depending on the number of hours contracted.

I will recommend Emma Braga for any professional program of her interest that will further her course in her profession and to any mother or mother-to-be who is anxious about caring for her little ones while going through pregnancy challenges - Emma is very friendly and professional.
During my pregnancy journey, Emma was very supportive and it eliminated my worries and anxiety of being alone in the labor and delivery room since my husband was caring for our other children. This was my first experience of doula services and it was worth it. From the
moment Emma was introduced to me as my doula by Massachusetts General Hospital, she made it so easy for me to share my pregnancy updates with her. She would check on me every week and talk so kindly like someone who had experienced pregnancy and the discomfort that comes along with it.
On my delivery day, I contacted her at almost midnight when I was in the late stages of labor and she immediately informed me that she was going to meet me at the hospital. Although my birth experience was so short and quick, I was so pleased that Emma made it to the hospital in time to help me capture the moment my baby was delivered.
Emma’s support made both my pregnancy and birth experience a good memory. Her weekly check-ins during my pregnancy, made me less anxious and gave me so much comfort knowing that I have a support system that I could contact if needed. On the delivery day, besides the hospital staff, Emma was there for me as my support.
