Niki was a godsend as our postpartum doula the first few months after my second child was born. She came over twice a week in the evenings. We always looked forward to Niki nights! She’d snuggle our baby so we could give our toddler some individualized attention, and in those early days it was so great to find someone I could trust to hand him to and who he’d be comfortable with - that was a rarity! Niki also helped bring a sense of calm to our chaotic house, through her mere presence and demeanor and also by helping us keep up with baby laundry, washing pump and bottle parts, and tidying up toys. I loved when I got a quiet moment to chat with Niki about whatever was going on that week. She is so connected to our community and had amazing advice, recommendations, and resources. I’m so grateful that we had such a wonderful human to help us adjust to life as a family of four!

Hiring Niki specifically to help with our twins was the best decision we could have made for our family. Even as an experienced mother, I found her to be an invaluable resource; she taught me new techniques and gave me the genuine confidence I needed to manage twins and two toddlers under the age of four.

She has an incredible ability to see the 'unspoken' tasks that need to be done. Whether it was meticulously organizing my pump and bottle parts, running a load of laundry, or cleaning up the table after my toddlers lunch, her initiative went beyond basic infant care, she literally kept our household running smoothly. She effortlessly balanced the needs of the whole family, often sitting and playing with my older toddlers while I nursed the twins, or calmly carrying two crying babies at once with total ease.

Beyond her technical expertise, Niki was a wonderful sounding board. I looked forward to our conversations and truly valued her thoughts and feedback on all things newborn. She is consistently calm, kind, and fully engaged, and I trusted her wholeheartedly with my babies from day one. I truly enjoyed getting to know her on a personal level as well, she really is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. The days she came were easily some of my favorites. If you are looking for someone intuitive, professional, and nurturing, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We've worked with Niki from when my son was 2 weeks old and she has been invaluable to our success as a newly family of four! I was anxious to leave my baby with anyone and she responded to that with deep understanding and compassion - even offering to come on outings with me until I felt more comfortable. There is truly nothing out of her realm of help. She is connected to our community and comes with a vast library of knowledge and resources, however is never intrusive when sharing it. Her advice is always well-timed and intuitive. She is a calm and peaceful presence in our home and we are so grateful for the time we get to spend with her!

Niki was with us from the week our daughter was born until she turned 4 months, supporting us for 40+ nights throughout that time. Niki was an invaluable resource-- always calm, always interested in our questions, always finding the answers for us well into the night. She not only took care of our infant when she woke up, allowing us to get some much needed sleep, but she cared for our home. She did laundry, cleaned bottles and pump parts, and ensured that everything was in order when we woke up. 

From an emotional standpoint, Niki allowed us to breathe a sigh of relief every few nights when she came to care for our daughter. She was such a support and full of kindness and patience. Niki, thank you for everything. You are absolutely a part of our family and a huge part of our daughter's newborn story.
