Bobbie! Thank you so much for all you have done for our family! My wife and I hired Bobbie as our postpartum dula and it was the best investment we have made. I firmly believe in coaching, and the mentoring we received from Bobbie before and after the birth of our first child was literally life changing. We would have likely not stuck with the breastfeeding had we not had the expertise and encouragement from Bobbie. She played a huge part to help identify that our daughter had both a lip and tounge tie. We got our daughter the immediate care she needed (a revision) and got her and my wife back on the nursing "train". We have now re-hired her for more postpartum coaching as the challenges develop. This is one happy dad. Fathers as the leader of your family the best think you can do to care for your kids is to make sure your wife is taken care of first. Bobbie has helped be do just that. Thank you!

Bobbi’s birth class is absolutely amazing! She provides a wealth of information with wonderful resources, and my husband and I learned SO much. I am a first time mom-to-be, and because of Bobbi and all of her help, guidance, and teaching, I feel so confident and excited for this new chapter to begin. Before the class I was very ignorant to almost all things labor, birth, and postpartum and felt clueless. Now after taking the class, my husband and I have a beautiful foundation of teamwork, understanding on how to support each other through the whole process, and so much peace. I highly recommend her services!

I have never had a doula service because I knew nothing about this but I had to look for a way to have a better birth! Luckily I found Bobbi and she was able to take me in because I also looked very late in my pregnancy! My labor was tough no matter what I did, but thankfully Boobi's techniques and confidence stayed in me and I was able to be firm for my self and stand my ground confidently when I was not taken serious by doctors! I very much recommend Bobbi for her services as a doula!!! 
also I was a virtual client and got so much in a couple weeks! imagen if your hire her as soon as you started your search in early pregnancy!

"If you don't know your options, you don't have any!" Bobbi's class made us feel more knowledgeable and empowered to make decisions regarding our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. We've compared our experience with friends who have taken classes through hospital systems, and there's no comparison. Hospitals teach you to be a good patient. Bobbi teaches you to know all of your options so you can make choices that are best for you and your family. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Bobbi both as a doula and for her child birth classes. Her childbirth class is incredible! Had it not been for her class we would not have been prepared for an unexpected hospital transfer. Because of her and her knowledge we were prepared and able to make the very best decisions possible for our birth experience.

We also used Bobbi’s postpartum services and I will never go without a doula postpartum after having her support during the first few weeks! Bobbi is truly so nurturing and listens and responds to all your needs. Every time she came for a visit I felt more and more confident to take on the postpartum and newborn challenges that I faced. She also has been a huge part in helping me to successfully breastfeed. She is such a knowledgeable, kind, supportive, and nurturing soul. So incredibly blessed by her! You NEED her apart of your team wether that’s just taking her class, or hiring her for birth or postpartum services. You will be so glad you did!

 She is very knowledgeable in the woman body and the stages it goes through and has many different classes and groups to participate in!

she is ready to train you and your daughters to fully understand why your body is working the war it is and how to help it and give you the Encouragement to take care of it better!!

I've worked with Bobbi the Doula with two pregnancies and two births.  She was instrumental in helping me navigate breastfeeding issues as well as supporting me as a person in transition.  I highly reccommend her services before, during, and after giving birth.  She is full of compassion, support and WISDOM!  You will not regret working with her.  She was such a Godsent to me and blessing.  She filled in the gaps that my husband, friends and practioners/doctors/midwives could not fill.  She is truly gifted at what she does!

My husband and I attended Bobbi’s childbirth classes and were very impressed. She was very knowledgeable and provided information that helped my husband and I make as informed decisions about the birth of our second.
We decided to hire Bobbi as our doula after a very traumatic birth experience with our first and knew we wanted it different this time. She was incredibly helpful during my labor and accepting send encouraging of all the choices I made. I believe that the information that we learned in her class and the exercises that she guided us through in labor helped us a lot to have our successful VBAC even in a hospital setting where cesareans are prevalent. Not only was the labor support helpful to myself and my husband, but her role postpartum doula was great. Many times, mothers are forgotten about after they give birth and she made sure I did not feel that way. She was able to give me support, tips, and resources to help guide me through my recovery. I highly recommend both her class and her doula services!

Bobbi is the most qualified person there is for anything related to childbirth! Not only is she the leader of the Rock County LLL and an experienced mom, but she is a childbirth educator and doula as well! I attended her childbirth education classes, and was impressed with the amount of time and effort she dedicated to constantly updating her materials. My husband even enjoyed the classes, and afterward would rave about the amount of knowledge he gained! As a postpartum doula, Bobbi provided an invaluable service to me. Not only was I a first-time mom, but also new to Wisconsin. I did not have family and friends to support me during that period. She helped us with breastfeeding (her advice to buy breast shells changed our experience for the better), weight checks, washing dishes, folding clothes, preparing meals, and so much more! Sometimes she would just hold the baby and entertain her while I took a shower--I don't know what I would have done without her! In between visits, I could text her with questions and she would respond right away! Even after the visits, I reached out to her regarding my low supply and she assisted me with information on increasing it. There is so much more that I could say about Bobbi Thompson, but I will summarize this review by saying that she is a wealth of knowledge and trusted resource for childbirth. I highly recommend Guardian Angel Birth Services, and will be a customer again (Lord willing) if I have another baby!

Quality education that is unbiased and evidence based can be hard to find, however, Bobbi's class does just that. As a doula and mother I looked forward to her classes every week so that I could gain more from her vast knowledge and experience. Her classes cover everything from pregnancy nutrition, excersizes, and what to expect from your care providers to breastfeeding and handling the postpartum period. She gives undless resources and material to study and use. When you are finished you feel informed and confident in making the decisions that work best for you. I highly recommend her classes and services to anyone that wants a satisfying and empowering birth!

As a new mom and a doula, I took Bobbi's class. The birth classes offered in our area hospitals are not only very mainstream, but also not evidence based and very medicalized. It's very disheartening for mom's wishing for a natural birth! I was so excited to learn about Bobbi's holistic class as it's much more my style! Not only does she have incredible birth and childcare knowledge from her personal life, but she's a wealth of information of everything from pre-conception to nursing, fertility awareness and birth control methods, hospital policies and procedures, prenatal screenings, holistic medicine and sooo much more! I also like that while taking her class and talking to her face to face, she's very personable and REAL! I highly recommend her class and if possible, hiring her as your birth or postpartum doula! You won't be disappointed!

It was great information that covered everything from nutrition, to exercise, labor stages and relaxation techniques, interventions, newborn care, breast feeding and post partum care. Bobbi has a lot of resources and great information to follow up with if you want more on certain topics. I highly recommend this class to get ready for parenthood all around!

I was so glad that I took Bobbi's class.  My husband and I had no idea what labor was going to be like prior to taking her class.  After the class we felt much more prepared.  The information we learned was invaluable to have during the birth.

Having Bobbi as a Doula made my crazy birth experience much better than it would have been without her. She is the pregnancy/birth/postpartum support system you think can live without but you can't. She has so many tips and tricks for anything pregnancy/birth/postpartum related and anything with babycare & momcare. Working with Bobbi has positively affected my birth and post partum experience times a million! I decided at 20 weeks that I wanted to do a home birth, then at 30 weeks decided to hire Bobbi for her Doula services. We went to 2 classes before an unexpected partial placental abruption and baby came via cesaren at 35 weeks. It was a complete turn around from what I had hoped for. I was in the hosptial 17 days! Bobbi came to the hospital several times, talked with us about options and tips to try and in general helped me mentally stay calm. She brought me bone broth and kefir to try which was so sweet! Afterwards, she came to our house and helped teach us more about what we missed in in her classes. I learned so much! It was so nice to have her to ask questions to and call to call when I needed to talk to someone. I wanted to give up pumping/attempting breastfeeding at 3 weeks and now I can say at 7 months pp I'm still going strong and breastfeeding is going well. It was a long process and I'm so glad I had Bobbi as an advocate. I will hire her again for next baby for sure!

Bobbi was a pillar of strength during my birth.  I was in active labor for 21 hours and I swear the looked as fresh and bright eyed when she arrived at 2am to when she left around 6pm.  I hired Bobbi because of her personal experience with 9 home births all including back labor.  My first birth experience was an excruciating 3 day back labor experience so a doula to help with back labor was definitely a primary goal.  She did just that.  Throughout my labor she had so many awesome tools and ideas to aid my progress.  She was ever gentle and present but never bothered me or stressed me out.  I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone looking to hire a doula!

I cannot say enough about Bobbi and the extensive knowledge she shared with my husband and I throughout our child birth classes! Being my first pregnancy I knew I had a lot to learn and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher! I feel much more prepared for labor, delivery, post-partum care, and breast feeding after our 6 week course with Bobbi. She is always so full of energy and she made every class exciting! i am so thankful my husband and I took these classes and I am more confident as my due date approaches knowing all the skills I learned!

My husband and I took Bobbi's Holistic Childbirth class in preparation for our first baby. We chose this class because Bobbi was highly recommended by our midwife and she was willing to be very flexible with our busy schedule. It was worth every penny! Bobbi is incredibly experienced (having 9 children of her own) and extremely educated. She gave us much more than a hospital class or seminar could have offered and her materials were very well-rounded, covering everything from prenatal preparations and labor to postnatal and infant/toddler care. She gave us time for instruction, discussion, and hands-on activities every week. She was always willing to answer questions and tailored classes to meet our specific needs and concerns. Whether you are planning for a home or hospital birth, she will work with your needs and set you up for success. You can tell she spends a lot of time and care in putting together resources and lessons and truly cares about her clients. We walked out of her classes feeling personally supported and cared for. We really enjoyed the class and are so thankful to have Bobbi as a resource and support through the whole process. She truly was a blessing and an answered prayer for us. We would highly recommend her services to any friends and family!

We took Bobbi's birthing classes with both of our boys. They helped prepare my husband & I for the birthing  process & allowed me to have 2 successful natural births. Not only were we happy with our classes Bobbi was also a big help with postpartum, breastfeeding & Doula support. She answered any questions we had about breastfeeding with a baby in the NICU & never seemed bothered by what seemed like an endless amount of questions.  So thankful we chose Bobbi to help with our births.

My third child Ashton was born on October 12, 2015. I knew something wasn't right with nursing from the very beginning. I had immediate pain from the time my son latched on to nurse and some times for hours after. I asked the nurses and the pediatrician to evaluate his latch and everything appeared to be normal. Being that this was my 3rd time as a nursing mother and knowing that nursing is a top priority of mine, I knew I had to do something. I started researching and came across tongue ties in infants. Once I saw that the pain matched what I was reading online, I went to a local mom group for advice. Bobbi immediately replied and was so knowledgable. She came out of her way to come to my house to check my son's tongue tie. I felt such a relief when she got to my house and had gloves, hand sanitizer, etc. I only say this because it made me feel comfortable that she was so prepared and following healthy guidelines. She checked my son's latch as well as for any sort of ties. She immeditely noticed he had a tongue tie. She stayed for a while after and answer my million questions. When she left I had almost everything answered. I knew how to relieve the pain, what my next steps should be, and what this means in the future. It took me a while for relief and to get everything taken care of, but on multiple occastions I would message Bobbi for help, advice, support, etc. She was always willing to help. I should mention that this was for  no charge. She only helped because she has a passion to help other mothers. In addition to helping me maintain my nursing relationship with my son (9 months and still going strong), she has helped a lot of ladies in the local mom to mom group. If someone needs advice or suggesstions and wants to go with a more natural route I think I speak for everyone when I say that Bobbi is the one to go to and trust for advice!

I first met Bobbi when I was pregnant with my first child in 2009 and I attended her 8 week natural childbirth class. It was so informative on all aspects of the birth process, exercises to keep baby in a good position, coping mechanisms, lactation, and postpartum and newborn care. It was especially informative for my husband to understand best how to be my support during the birth experience and we both appreciated the wealth of knowledge we learned from that class and I felt so much more confident in giving birth to my first child!

After our class, I decided to hire Bobbi to be my doula. My labor ended up being very fast for a first time delivery and it was because of what we learned in her class that my husband knew to call the midwife STAT since I was in denial of how far along I was. I was so grateful when she arrived and to have her soothing calm presence and wisdom of experience there helping me cope and applying counter pressure especially since my baby came much quicker than I ever anticipated!

I also used her for my second and third child which were similar labors but faster. She always knew exactly what to say and her soothing presence helped me get through. She was also such a help with the postpartum period! She especially believes in mothering the mother so she can best care for her new baby and she has always brought meals, helped with breastfeeding issues, and even took my kids to the park so I could focus on my newest baby! She goes above and beyond and is such a blessing! Her passion for all things birth and mothering come through her every word. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again or recommend her to anyone!

My boyfriend and I took Bobbi's childbirth class to prepare for our upcoming birth this September, 2016. Bobbi was extremely knowledgable in every aspect of childbirth, as well as pregnancy and post partom. The information she shared with us also came with many great resources supporting the facts she was teaching us about. If there was ever a question we had that she didn't have an immediate answer for, she took the time to research and share with us what she found. She's very quick to answer any questions outside of class time as well, which was very comforting with all the changes happening during pregnancy. I would recommend Bobbi's services to anybody who is planning to get pregnant, currently pregnant or who has recently had a baby. With her knowledge and caring personality, she has a lot of great services to offer during such an important time in ones life.

Bobbi Thompson has been a family friend of ours for nearly 5 years. We have been honored to have her services at the birth of our 2 boys births (she would have been at all of them had we known her sooner). Bobbi is committed to getting the birth you want and she is willing to do whatever she needs to ensure that happens. This could be helping mama relax and think of soothing, positive thoughts or reminding her that through each contraction it is leading to blessing at the end.

One of things that I appreciate about Bobbi and her birth services, as the father, is that she doesn't feel she has to be "front and center". Bobbi will be the first to step up wherever she is needed. This could be "front and center" but we've seen Bobbi do far more for us than just being next to mama. Bobbi has helped all of us calm our nerves when its "go-time" by helping make everything going so naturally and smoothly. Her kindness and selflessness helped me out, as the dad, because I knew I could solely focus on my wife and I could take full confidence everything else was taken care of. Bobbi knew our birth plan and how we wanted the birth to go. I specifically remembering looking up while I was with my wife and seeing Bobbi working diligently on certain things she knew we wanted part of the birth.

We know she loves and cares for us because we are such great friends but I take full confidence that if we weren't as close as we are as friends, that Bobbi would still care for us like we were family because she loves helping families experience the best birthing experience they can. We have many great memories from our births, Bobbi and her services helped intensify these memories of positivity and success. Bobbi has a love for birth and building real, loving relationships with moms. I would strongly suggest and recommend Bobbi for your next birthing experience not just because she's my friend but because of her professionalism and sincere care.

I worked with Bobbi to have a home birth with my 3rd child.  It was a VBAC since my first two were by C-section.  I can't beging to express how grateful I was to have her by my side.  I had hired her not realizing the name of her business and all through the birth and after I just thought to myself what an Angel!  She felt like a vessel God was using to give me just what I needed at the time.  She seemed to understand what I needed to hear, when I needed to be touched, when I needed encouragement and when I needed to change or shift in a different direction....mentally, physically and spiritually.

She was such a blessing to me and certainly made my experience memorable.  I was so glad that I valued myself enough to push thru my resistence and my husband's....thinking we could do it by ourselves.  What a Godsent she was to have with me thru the process and I now count her so close to me for having gone thru such a moving experience.  If I would not have had here there, I definitely would have missed out on her minstry to me and my child and my family.  What an amazing woman she was and is today!
