Zaro has an undeniably grounding presence. Beyond her advice, troubleshooting, and incredible cooking, it has been her consistent calming presence that has meant the most to me as a new parent. We extended our contract with Zaro much longer than we originally planned because her presence in our lives has been invaluable. She showed up for us in ways we could not even anticipate before becoming parents. I highly recommend her as a doula.

Zaro was a highly professional and incredibly helpful postpartum doula for me, my husband, and our 4-week-old son. In addition to being a genuinely warm and caring person, Zaro brought tremendous expertise and insight to our time together by connecting our family to excellent specialists when we needed help with lactation and dealing with a painful tongue-tie.  She also has an amazing intuitive and compassionate touch; our baby slept for hours in her arms over the months Zaro worked with us.  She said the words "What can I do next," more than I can count, and frequently helped focus me on identifying tasks and chores she could complete when I was too frazzled or sleep-deprived to figure it out myself.  Zaro was also endlessly reassuring and compassionate to me as a nursing mother and her consistent message of self-care and acceptance helped smooth out many bumpy weeks in our son's first months of life.  Zaro has a wonderful ability to be a supportive problem-solver in real time and my family truly benefitted from her tireless assistance.  That she also is impressively organized, responsive, and proactive is icing on the cake.  Any family would be very lucky to work with her in any capacity.
