I don’t know how to out into words how grateful I am for Elise’s support and guidance through the birth of our daughter. I had a long labor and I felt as though my husband and Elise worked just hard as I did to bring our baby earth side! Elise was full of knowledge about different positions to keep things flowing and was such a great advocate for the wishes we had for our labor. She knew the right questions to ask and she had a great rapport with the hospital staff, which was very helpful. Things got very scary right after our daughter made her entrance and Elise stepped in embodied the meaning of what a doula is. She stood right by me, gently whispered in my ear that everything would be ok. I fully leaned on her in that moment and she was a rock. A true safe harbor midst the storm. Even postpartum Elise has been proving latching support and guidance on general postpartum questions I have. If you get the opportunity to have Elise part of your labor journey, you will be blessed.

Even though we took birthing classes, my husband and I really wanted to have someone present during the birth of our first child to help us navigate the unpredictable process of giving birth. Elise brought a calming presence that helped us both through the birth of Callie. She helped advocate for our wishes and knew all the tricks to keep me comfortable during a 20+ hour birth! In addition, she is a truly kind soul who loves to help new mamas

Elise was our Doula, and she provided so much positivity, wisdom, and reassurance to us in the weeks leading up to the birth of our son. Her physical and emotional support during the birth was vital to us both, especially as this was our first child. Even as things got intense, she kept us grounded, and she empowered us to trust in our strength rather than give in to fear. She checked in on us regularly after the birth, as well, and even came to visit us! Her line of work calls for one to be incredibly strong, informed, compassionate, genuine, and caring, and Elise has all these qualities -- and more -- in spades. I feel so lucky to have her in my life, and I am incredibly grateful to have received financial assistance to be able to access her services. I have nothing but deep admiration and appreciation for this amazing woman!
