Eve was a wonderful and reassuring person who communicated my birth plan & cared deeply to match my needs. She was incredibly flexible and understanding when my pregnancy was over two weeks late.

On the morning of my daughter’s home birth, I felt calmed by her gentle, confident, and reassuring presence from the moment Eve arrived. Although my labor progressed very quickly, I felt safe, held, and unafraid in her capable hands. Eve’s demeanor was a perfect blend of sensitivity, reassuring, and confidence with a clear direction of how to best support my needs during each surge. It was as if she could sense what I needed both physically for relief such as water or help changing positions, and also she knew when to use her skillset such as hip squeezing pressure and other helpful pain management maneuvers. I felt as if a caring aunt was guiding me and knew my needs intuitively.  Eve also provided an extra amazing treat, during the pushing portion of my labour she took beautiful photos capturing the unforgettable joyful moments when my daughter was born!

After the birth, I appreciated Eve staying at my home and caring for me, and providing what felt like luxurious attention by asking what I needed such as water and snacks, settling me and my little one into my bed, and giving me a very soothing foot massage to ease my discomfort.  I feel honored to have had Eve as part of my birth story, to guide and support me and relieve my discomfort and fears.

Eve has helped us get our feet back on the ground since having our baby. She helped us with baby feeds and sleep training. She watched our baby boy so that we could catch up on much-needed sleep. She helped us get our messy place under control. She helped us on those days when we needed emotional support. Eve is well-rounded, caring, and reliable. We know our little one is in good hands with her. He always has a big smile on his face when she arrives and a full-belly laugh when she plays with him. She's there for us too. The good days, the bad days, all of it. No judgment, just support and understanding. I wholeheartedly recommend Eve to anyone looking for a birth or postpartum doula. I don't know how we would have gotten through these first months as new parents without her.

We are so happy with our decision to go with Eve as our birth doula. She helped us create a birth plan based on our preferences by providing information on options without being judgmental. She tailored the pre birth sessions to meet our specific needs. Eve is an excellent communicator and was both organized and flexible in maintaining appointments. She cleared here schedule during our birth and was just a text or call away when we needed her. During our labour she arrived prepared with lots of comfort measures and even more importantly a calming energy, which brought both my partner and I immediate comfort and ease. Eve’s knowledge and anticipation of a labouring persons needs are uncanny. I thought I was prepared with my hospital bag, but once I got my epidural and could relax I realized my feet were freezing and my lips were dry. Eve had me covered and immediately pulled a fluffy new pair of socks and a new chapstick out of her caddy. I would highly recommend eve to any family preparing to bring a new baby into the world.

Eve was a wonderful support to both me and my partner throughout my pregnancy. I had a unique early labour (pretty much in labour for 2 weeks/stuck at 3cm) and whenever I needed support (emotional, and physical with labour preparation) Eve was just one call/text message away. She came to my house whenever I thought I was in labour and helped create an even more relaxing place with candles, massages, and tense machines to help me breathe through my contractions. During the active labour, I was happy that she was there to support me and provide an opportunity for my partner to cat nap before the delivery.

Eve created a space for me to contact her anytime without feeling guilty (false labour). She always checked on me to make sure that I did not feel guilty and deserved to be supported. 

I know that I will have children in the future and I know that I will reach out to Eve my doula for my next children. 

I am grateful that my family got to be supported by Eve. She is an amazing Doula.

Eve was an amazing doula and we continued to hire her for post-partum support. The in house massages and help with the baby have literally taken a (laundry) load off our backs! I had a crazy birth, complete with induction, pre-eclampsia and emergency c-section and Eve was a great support throughout. The fact that she had a background in massage was important for us for our choice. I have a phobia of needles and because of long labour and lots going on my fiance needed to sleep too as it was a crazy long process! Eve had a lot of personal touches for us and I really appreciated that. I will hire her for my next pregnancy again and carry on with post-partum visits, very helpful!

I am thrilled that we connected with Eve and chose her as our birth doula. From the beginning, she was a pleasure to work with and provided incredible support during our daughter's birth. Eve is extremely organized; during our first meeting, she presented a folder containing information about her services and additional resources. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and light-hearted – exactly the qualities we were seeking in a doula. Throughout the birth, Eve captured photos for us, supplied candles for the room, and maintained a calming presence. I wholeheartedly recommend Eve!

Eve was an incredible support to my husband and I throughout our pregnancy and birth process. Eve was always a voice of reason for me when scares came up through my pregnancy. She was easy to talk to and reassuring. She was always easy to reach and responded quickly to me. Eve has a very calming presence. She is open to being told likes and dislikes throughout labour without being offended. She has a very caring nature. I was induced and Eve was there with me from the start of the process for anything I needed. Eve gives amazing massages!!! I especially liked getting to talk about the birth again with Eve to help me process everything that happened. Eve also came to our home after the baby was born to help with some household chores and she so kindly took our dog for a walk.

We highly recommend Eve!

We were so incredibly lucky to have had Eve as a member of our birthing team. As first time parents we had no idea what to expect, and my husband in particular very worried about getting in the way instead of being helpful. Eve not only supported me as the birthing partner, but also helped my husband to feel empowered to help me as well. She listened to my every wish, and helped to advocate for me when the time came. I highly recommend hiring Eve to be part of your birth journey!!

Eve has been a Godsend for us these past 5 weeks since our baby was born. Calm, confident, and kind, she brings restfulness to our house and nervous systems and helps us all settle for the night. Eve's a clear communicator, happy to ask questions when something's not clear. She handles chores efficiently and remembers details, often taking care of something before I realize it needs to be done. She's skilled at organizing & helped me plan and pack for our trip.  A bonus is she offers wonderful neck and shoulder massages! I'm beyond grateful for her care.

I can't recommend Eve strongly enough as a Birth Doula!  As our first birth experience, Eve immediately made both myself and my husband feel at ease and comfortable.  We were drawn to her calm and caring demeanor.  She stepped in and helped guide us through early labour at home, then at the hospital as well as postpartum home care.  Eve provided us with both emotional and physical support the entire way through to the birth of our daughter. She provided reminders and suggestions throughout the process, all based on our birth preferences.  If or when we are ready to take the baby journey again, I know we won't hesitate to have Eve there with us.

'I attended a birth with Eve and was so impressed by her care for her clients.  She was with the birthing person all hours of the day and night and despite a lengthy labour her positivity did not waiver. She was able to set a tone of calmness and peacefulness in a hospital setting. Beside from my husband, Eve was my key support during labour & delivery of my first child.  Not only did she provide reassurance and support, she took pictures over the span of time before, during and after our daughter was born, then presented us with the most beautiful keep sake slideshow of our daughter's arrival.  We also had a special afternoon where she made a belly cast of my pregnant tummy, then after, took pictures of her laying in the cast after we arrived home.  It was priceless!

Eve was with me during the birth of my third child. Even though I knew what to expect, it was
such a pleasure to have her calming spirit at my side.  During the following month of
postpartum support, she cooked meals, cleaned, did laundry, and minded my other two sons
while I had quiet time for unhurried breastfeeding and bonding. Her humour, care and
compassion was a gift!
