Krissie provided so much warmth during my labor. Her calm and normalization of the labor and delivery experience was integral for me to stay in the "labor zone" and relax into the experience. She suggested supportive positions and encouraged me to lean into the process. She advocated for my birth wishes when the on call OB suggested we make a change of plans that were not previously discussed with my provider.

My birth trauma from my first was healed by having a positive experience with Krissie for my second delivery. It would not have been possible without her support! Thank you, Krissie!

I feel very lucky and grateful for having such an amazing experience of doula support with Krissie Oliver. I had interviewed 4 other doulas with different agencies, but the moment I met her online I knew she was a perfect match for me. She is a very reliable, solid person with lots of expertise, but at the same time very attentive, caring and flexible. She gave me a lot of emotional support and physical comfort during labor which saved a lot of my energy and was very empowering. For those who are looking for someone with the best balance of kind hearted personality and professional expertise, I would definitely recommend Krissie.

Krissie was absolutely amazing as our doula. As someone who takes pride in being organized and as prepared as possible, I'm am so grateful for this experience. 

All of our prenatal visits with Krissie went so well. She was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. Krissie was adaptive with her resources and what we did/did not respond to. Krissie is very personable and makes you feel comfortable about the whole process. She provides support for both parents, which I think is very valuable.

It was also helpful to have Krissie's support during our labor and birth. Krissie gave me the confidence to deliver our son. I was so scared but she helped us be as prepared as possible. And she helped advocate for us when my husband asked to help deliver our son. We both felt extremely supported during this time.  

Our postpartum period also went great. Krissie came by to meet our son and made sure we were all doing well. I was actually really sad that our time with her was ending! She will always be a very important piece in our birth story! Thank you Krissie!!

I had a really wonderful birth experience, and I'm grateful for Krissie's presence throughout. In the months leading up to the birt, Krissie was helpful in sharing information and giving us space to process and discuss our preferences and hopes. She was a really great advocate and helped us to be aware of our options and make informed decisions throughout the birth process. She was just the right amount of hands-on and helpful, and she also took a step back and gave us space when we needed it.

I was induced and it could have been a much more stressful and difficult birth situation without Krissie, but she helped us navigate the whole process and helped me feel confident, cared for, and supported throughout. Having a familiar face that we had built trust with in the delivery room as an advocate was extremely valuable. Krissie could make suggestions or make us aware of resources and options so that we could make the most informed decisions. Along with that, she was very neutral and had the right bedside manner. She was not pushy or overbearing, and she knew when to step in and help and when to take a step back and give us space. I never felt like she pulled my focus, but rather that her contributions allowed us to confidently and calmly focus on the birth, knowing someone was there to help support us through the process. 

I was really nervous about giving birth, especially about being induced (a medical necessity). I did a lot of emotional work and mental preparation to work on that fear so that I could go into the birth with confidence, optimism, and positivity. Krissie helped me with that perspective, and she helped me manage my expectations and my anxieties. I walked away feeling really empowered and confident in my body's ability to give birth (and honestly, my initial hope was to just survive the whole thing, so I walked away with way more than I thought I ever could!)

We had a great experience with Krissie. I found all of the prenatal visits to be very customized, informative, and helpful. I felt so strong and capable of giving birth naturally because of her support. She provided comfort in the form of physical touch. She was also so good about noticing any tension I was holding in my body and reminding me to release. And, when I did remember to stay loose during a contraction, she always commended me which left me feeling powerful and encouraged.
