Celeste was just amazing. She came over on extremely short notice for her first shift, which was overnight shift on my first night home with my daughter. We had originally scheduled day shifts starting a few days after I returned home from the hospital but I became extremely stressed/overwhelmed once I got home from the hospital so I texted her that evening and she came right over (in a snow storm too!). I was having trouble relaxing and breastfeeding and Celeste helped me position myself and my daughter to get comfortable and relaxed so I could nurse her. It was such an amazing relief to have her there on that first night to help us and so I could get a little rest and recover from my C-section. Her day shifts that followed were just as wonderful. She cared for my daughter while I slept, she cooked nourishing meals for my family and myself, cleaned, stopped at the store to pick up groceries, and of course was a source of much needed advice. Her calm and nurturing demeanor was such a blessing to our family!  Her Doula services far excedded my expectations and I would recommend Celeste to anyone seeking Doula services! She's the best!

Angela was our saving grace through a rough delivery! My original plan was to have a natural birth in a birthing center with no medications. Due to the size of our son I had to be induced a week early which meant my original birth plan went out the window. With Angela by our side the whole labor and delivery I was able to get through induction and she was the reason we didn't have to have an emergency C-section when they realized my son's shoulder was stuck in my hip. She helped to keep my husband and I both calm and empowered through the whole experience. We will always be thankful for her support, presence and expertise!

The most important thing for us in a doula was shared faith. Pregnancy and birth are sacred times, so finding a Catholic doula was of utmost importance to me. Catherine met this criteria, but she also exceeded my expectations in every way. She was responsive, helpful, resourceful, kind, funny, and best of all: a friend. I feel that I have made a friend in Catherine through this journey, and that is very significant when you are sharing one of the most vulnerable and important moments of your life with someone.

Many women end up feeling betrayed by their birth care team because of less than stellar people at their side. Mothers don't need to fear this happening with Catherine. She is ultimately supportive of the mother's wishes--you will never be shamed by her for any decision you make in your birth, only uplifted. As soon as I decided to opt out of my natural birth and said my "safe word" to get an epidural, she instantly helped get the process going, despite our goal being to go unmedicated the whole time. She takes her supportive role very seriously, including her role as a praying intercessor if that is important to you in your birth.

Catherine is a priceless doula. Anyone seeking her services will not be disappointed with her support. If the opportunity arises, I will invite her to work with us on my future births as well.
