We are so grateful to have had Marta's presence and support at the birth of our daughter. We found her through a series of events and I truly believe she made the difference in us experiencing a beautiful and natural birth within a hospital setting. The meetings leading up to the birth were very informative and were a great way to get to know each other and to be comfortable together, both for myself and my husband. Marta was my biggest cheerleader during this phase, offer advice and support, lending books, and just generally checking in on how I was after going two weeks past the due date!

For the birth itself, Marta was a beautiful warm, calming, and supportive presence. Having her there to watch over gave me a sense that all was well. She would make suggestions on different positions or things to try, but really just knew what I needed before I even did!! She cut through the noise and distraction that I felt being in the hospital and really allowed me to lean on my husband and focus on bringing our baby into the world. She brought everything with her and even gave my her own sweater to wear! Marta was also incredibly helpful with ensuring skin to skin happened and assisting with a first latch.

We consider ourselves very lucky that Marta is part of our story and hope to continue to use her as we grow our family.

Marta was an incredible doula. She was extremely responsive and very in tune with my needs. She offered helpful information and tips when needed, as well as general support and comfort before and during labor. Having her there during my labor experience relaxed me and gave me an additional layer of confidence. I would recommend her to anyone! We love Marta!

Marta was an amazing match for us. She provides so many resources for her parents. I felt educated and empowered with knowledge around birth and my birth options. When our original plan for a natural hospital birth went sideways because baby was breech she talked me through many emotional days and helped me make an informed decision on how I wanted to move forward. She joined us in important doctors appointments, helped me advocate for my rights and desires, helped me stay grounded during the ECV to try to flip baby, and when we ultimately ended up with a c section as our only option she was an amazing support person helping me keep my nerves calmed and stay grounded. After baby was born she was by my side helping facilitate our first breastfeed and help us get settled into our recovery room. Marta is extremely attentive and available to her clients.

Marta was such a calm, kind and supportive member of our birth team. Both my husband and I felt incredibly cared for by Marta from the moment we started working with her. Marta helped us create a birth plan that clearly reflected our preferences and she answered all of our questions during pregnancy. The position of my baby girl was uncertain during the first month of my third trimester and I had quite a bit of anxiety around it. Marta was very responsive to my questions and checked in with me to share resources for helping babies into the proper position, while also reassuring me that babies know what to do and to trust my body. During our labor Marta navigated relationships with hospital staff professionally and courteously and made sure my voice and preferences were always centered. She also made sure my husband was attentive to his own needs and felt supported. This was our first pregnancy/kiddo, and we're super grateful that Marta is also incredibly knowledgeable about infant care and breastfeeding. She visited with us when we returned home from the hospital and spent over four hours in our home helping us figure out simple but intimidating to first time parents things like finger nail clipping and bath time. Her post-partum support has been such a blessing and Marta continues to check in on us and our little babe to this day.

I cannot recommend Marta's services enough. If you're looking for an intuitive, reliable and nurturing advocate, Marta is the doula for you!

Where do I begin with the wonderful Marta!? To start, this birth was my third birth and most important because I was attempting a VBA2C (vaginal birth after a second cesarean). I new I would need a doula to be a part of our support team. I am SO glad that we found Marta. She was super supportive from the beginning and very responsive. When it came time to the labor, she got the hospital before us which was so helpful because I could walk in with her while my husband parked. Once in the room, Marta was prepared for whatever we needed and she asked all the questions we needed to ask when my husband was focused on me. She was reassurance when we needed it and strength when I needed it. She also took pictures of special moments that I wouldn't have thought to take. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

Marta is wonderful. Not only is she a mother of three, but she is kind and gentle, and at the same time strong and spirited. She helped me personally with my first born and went above and beyond for myself and my husband. I cannot recommend her enough. She is simply, the best.

Marta was our doula for my first pregnancy. She and Maritza met with us several times during the third trimester (virtually and in person) and offered so much advice, information, and support. In person, they taught various comfort measures for labor and really spent time learning about our preferences so that we could work toward a birth experience where I felt safe and supported. They also checked in on me frequently in the final months which was just so nice, and also a great resource for my questions and uncertainties. During labor Marta couldn’t come for the first 12+ hrs because of hospital policy but was available by phone and text; once she showed up she was amazing both in constantly finding ways to help make me more comfortable, reminding me to breathe, helping communicate my needs with the medical staff, and suggesting new positions etc for pushing. I am so thankful for Marta and Maritza’s support throughout pregnancy and labor!!

I was extremely grateful to have Marta as my doula with my fifth pregnancy. Her support and techniques she offered helped me have a magical, quick, and healthy delivery despite having a failed epidural. She’s kind, patient, laid back, and willing to do whatever needed to have the labor experience you desire. Thank you Marta!!
