Being brand new to the world and complexities of birth, I dove into absorbing all the information I could get my hands on. One of the first things that deeply resonated was having a doula. I instantly felt that Danielle’s energy and knowledge was the right path for me upon meeting for the first time, and later throughout the entire experience that was only confirmed. Danielle helped me create a birth plan that was specific to my goals and that gave me confidence when advocating for myself. She allowed me to talk through different challenges I was facing during pregnancy and answered questions with helpful resources and positive affirmation. Even postpartum, she made us feel seen and supported.

Looking back on my experience, I truly believe that over half of the birthing process is mental. Having Danielle present was an asset to confidence and peace of mind, boosting my ability to focus on my labor. I was fortunate enough to meet all of my labor goals and have a beautiful, empowering experience. Danielle was definitely a contributing factor and someone I would recommend in the future :)

Danielle was nothing short of amazing! After our first meeting, I immediately knew I wanted to hire her. The amount of knowledge and information she shared with me made me feel like I would be in such good hands going into labor. My goal was to have a natural, unmedicated birth and Danielle encouraged me throughout the entire 9 months. During the last month, she was amazing at suggesting certain stretches to help with aches and pains, as well as remedies to help prepare my body for labor. One of the most amazing things, was that after I gave birth and the doctor left, SHE STAYED! She stayed with me and my husband, helped us get settled in our postpartum room and even helped me with my first feeding. Danielle made me feel like Wonder Woman during my birth. She was my labor and birth sidekick I never knew I needed. She was so personable and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions (I asked A LOT of questions). If you are on the fence about hiring a doula, let me just say… DO IT! Danielle was an invaluable asset to my birthing team and I will definitely be using her for my next birth.
