“Home is where the heart is.” I can affirm that old adage reminiscing on my precipitous home birth from this past June of 2023. Kaytlin, always gracious and empathetic, supported me, encouraged me, and sometimes quite literally held me. Whether I was venting the growing emotional and physical pressures of surpassing my “guess date” or in the throws of the ever intense birthing dance, she was there to help me find my way through. She was one of my consistent rocks as the waves and uncertainties pulled me under, helping me find my way back to center to prepare for the next. Her experience, therapeutic massage background, and holistic care make her the total package when looking for a doula. I can’t image my beautiful birth experience without thinking about the key part she played in helping me bring my baby earth side.

Kaytlin is an amazing masseuse and doula! I was lucky enough to have her support for the birth of my daughter. She made me feel empowered and happy with the decisions that came with childbirth. She was always available for questions and support before the birth too - I learnt so much from her! The massages were also heavenly and I always looked forward to getting them. I can’t wait to get another one! Thanks, Kaytlin!!

Kaytlin is wonderful! When my partner and I first met with her, I felt comfortable with her right away. I knew that our doula search had come to an end. Kaytlin is approachable, relatable, always follows up on what she's helping with and most importantly she is kind. She has a way of speaking to you that makes you feel like you are talking to a an old friend that has been there for you through thick and thin. I felt like I have known her for a long time. Throughout our pregnancy she made sure to reach out and check in consistently. She kept my hopes up even when I was at my lowest. We had a pretty long journey via IVF and then was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and then some complications in the third trimester. She helped me have the confidence to believe in myself when it was insanely tough. She is open to hearing ideas and not set in her ways of what she recommends. She has no ego and humbly offers recommendations that make sense but she also makes space for what you want to do. Her massage therapy skills are icing on the cake and I looked forward to all our prenatal massages. They would always be the highlight of my day. Leading up to birth day was pretty stressful and Kaytlin showed up at the hospital with her calmness, great conversation, positivity, straightforwardness and motivation and helped me get through many of the tough parts. Her respectful demeanor also helped us navigate some of those tough moments at hospital. She took some amazing phone pics that I will always treasure and she was there making sure I did not give up. I felt like a warrior with her (and my partner and my amazing OB) by my side. She will always have a place in my heart for how she compassionately helped us bring our little miracle baby into this world. Thank you Kaytlin.

I am so glad I chose Kaytlin as my doula to support me through my first homebirth. She is very knowledgeable and helped make my labor as comfortable as possible, from suggesting different positions to make contractions more tolerable, to getting hands-on and offering comforting back/neck rubs between contractions. Whatever I decided to do in the moment, she selflessly was right there with me finding a way to enhance the experience. I truly cannot imagine how any other doula could have done a better job, and I look forward to working with her again.

Where can I even start with reviewing Kaytlin? It's hard to put a feeling into words, but I'll try my best. Kaytlin is safety, warmth, empowerment, friendship and comfort wrapped up into one curly haired, massage giving, dad joke telling human that I love with my whole heart. I interviewed her at the end of the first trimester and never interviewed another doula, because I knew she was it for our family.
From dealing with my anxiety, to switching from a birth center birth to a homebirth at 35 weeks, Kaytlin provides a neutral, loving and well informed perspective. She was extremely organized and well prepared in her prenatal visits and when it came down to labor, I wanted her by my side virtually the whole time. (Listen to me when I tell you having a doula who's a massage therapist is pure MAGIC.) She is forever a part of our family and I'm so grateful for her and the amazing work she does as a birth worker. If I have another baby she'll be one of the first people I call.

I had my first baby 4 weeks ago and I am thrilled to be able to share that my experiences through pregnancy, labor and birth were so positive, empowering and transformational in the most wondrous ways. I can't imagine having been able to achieve the birth experience I truly desired without having had Kaytlin in my corner throughout my journey! Going into pregnancy, I had very little knowledge and very few preferences about birth, I just knew I wanted to take charge and have support. Kaytlin's provided me with tons of resources for education, gave me space to form all of my own preferences and choices, supported me with prenatal massages (she’s an incredible massage therapist!), helped my husband and I plan and prepare for labor and birth, was available by phone/text to process any feeling/question that arose, grounded and supported me through touch, movement and verbal encouragement through every moment of my labor and delivery, checked in frequently these first weeks postpartum and brought us lunch a couple weeks postpartum as we processed through all the feels of our recent experiences. Kaytlin's down to earth yet passionate personality paired with competency and strong values of respecting each mama's agency made us feel so safe and supported. She forever holds such a special place in our story of two becoming three and of my transformation of mind/body/spirit into motherhood.

I could not more strongly recommend having a support like this through such a monumental journey ????

Kaytlin was an amazing doula from the beginning! She walked us through the options for our birth plan and laboring techniques, which made us feel like we were prepared when labor started. She never pressured us to any option, but openly discussed pros/cons so we could make our own decision. Our delivery was very fast and a bit chaotic, but Kaytlin was so calm and gentle in it all, which helped me to stay calm and focus on what I felt like baby and I needed to do when pushing. She also made sure the medical staff had a copy of our birth plan right away so everyone was on the same page and made it easier for me to advocate for what I wanted when medical staff asked to do things not on the birth plan. Plus she is a great massage therapist - really helped with the late-stage pregnancy aches. We are so glad we found Kaytlin and would highly recommend her!

I can't recommend Kaytlin highly enough as a doula! I had such an amazing experience with her. My husband and I were on the fence about hiring a doula but after we met with Kaytlin, we felt confident that this would be a good investment. We started working together about 6 months before my baby was due, which gave us plenty of time to build trust in our relationship. Kaytlin was very intentional, informative, resourceful, and supportive along the way. One huge perk is that she is a licensed and experienced massage therapist, which really benefited me during pregnancy and labor! During my intense and long labor, Kaytlin was there every moment I needed her… giving me counter pressure, suggesting positions, encouraging me when things got really tough, and even helping and also allowing my husband to support me in the ways I needed. It felt like a team effort! I couldn’t have done it without her. She helped me have the empowering birth that I was hoping for! Kaytlin got to know me well enough to offer me the kind of support I specifically needed. I noticed that she adapted to me and my needs and I really appreciated that! This experience created a friendship that will last beyond the birth. I can’t say enough good things about her - HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend :)

Just had my last postpartum appointment with Kaytlin and I can’t even fully express what a huge blessing she was to our family through this whole process!

We were a little late to the game looking for a doula. I had an emotional breakdown at 33 weeks pregnant, with all the feels of just not knowing what I was doing. Hiring Kaytlin was literally the best decision I made during this pregnancy. Kaytlin was able to meet right away, made us feel confident in her knowledge, was super friendly and most importantly didn’t make me feel judged about the fact that I was considering an epidural. She absolutely just wanted to support me in whatever birth story I was hoping for!

She was able to meet with us several times before birth, helped create a birth plan, sent all the information I was wanting knowledge wise and more! She made me feel extremely confident going into my birth. I was able to contact her with any concerns and questions and got thorough answers. I did a hospital birth, so she did the leg work on her end making sure she had everything in place to attend, which took the pressure off of me. And when it was go time at the hospital I was soooo soo thankful I had her. If you are hesitant at all/not sure you need a doula. I’m telling you now that just the time during active labor having her was worth it! She helped me through all the breathing, actively helped my husband know how to assist me, made sure I knew all my options for birth positions and I really did try it all! I 100% know I would NOT have made it through an unmedicated birth without her and I’m so glad I did! If you are wanting an unmedicated birth, she is your women!! She also got great photos of the whole process, that I’ll cherish  forever.

I highly highly recommend Kaytlin and if you are on the fence about the whole doula situation set up a consult with her at the minimum. You will not be disappointed! We love our Kaytlin!!

Having Kaytlin be a part of our birth team was the best decision we made. During pregnancy she not only gave me the best prenatal massage, but she took the time to develop a trusting relationship with both me and my partner. For labor and birth, she was there for me when things went very differently than what I had planned. She helped me process my emotions in real time (from a close call with a c-section to listening to my body when I decided to have an epidural to my baby being taken to the NICU almost immediately) and stayed throughout my entire labor--almost 24 hours. Kaytlin is the most caring woman who is completely invested in your well-being. Bonus: she also makes some kick-ass banana bread muffins.
