My husband and I used Silver Falls Family Support and were connected with Bethany to be our birth support person in May of 2023. I can't say enough amazing words about our experience. Bethany spent hours with us before delivery helping us figure out our birth plan and setting goals for delivery, while teaching us everything we needed to know to make our own educated decisions about delivering our baby. When I went into labor, she was a life changing support to us. She quite literally spent days (almost a whole week!) giving us around the clock support and encouragement while laboring. When it came time to go to the hospital, Bethany was there in a flash with more tools than I could have imagined. She was encouraging, calm, warm, and never let me feel like I wasn't made to have my baby. She held my hand, made embarrassing labor noises with me, and made sure I knew exactly what was going on with my delivery, no matter how crazy it felt. I look back and truly believe I wouldn't have made it through my labor and delivery with my head still on my shoulders if it wasn't for her support. Bethany is amazing at what she does, and she goes above and beyond to provide the care, support, and encouragement that anyone delivering a baby needs. She made such a difference in our lives.

We had an incredible experience with Bethany during the birth of our first child. The number of unknowns you're up against during that time seem insurmountable, and without her, I don't know that things would have gone as smooth as they did.

From the moment we met Bethany, she exuded warmth, knowledge, support, and best of all-- a great sense of humor, making us feel at ease during this life-changing event. Throughout labor and the months leading up to it, she provided invaluable guidance and encouragement, empowering the both of us to make decisions that were right for us and our child.

Bethany's presence helped us navigate each stage with confidence, and her expertise was evident in the way she helped us advocate for our preferences with the medical team. Thanks to her, the birthing process felt truly personalized and special. I cannot recommend her enough-- a simply amazing doula!
