Angelina Popazoglo was an amazing doula to have by my side. From the very beginning of my pregnancy journey. she would always have the time to check up on me over the phone to see how I am doing no matter what time it was and she would never mind when I texted her for questions. She would always give me great advice for when I didn’t know something and tell me helpful tips on everything possible that I needed to know in pregnancy and postpartum for when the time comes. When it was time to go to the hospital at 12:00 am she right away got into the car and drove 2 hours to Were I lived. Without her I wouldn’t know that I need to be on a birth ball to get my dilation going, I was just going to lay in the bed and waste time while I was having pain because the nurses don’t really tell you what you need to do in this situation. She would help me cope with pain of the contractions while giving me a massage on my lower back with a massager. Anything I needed she would do it for me. This was my second pregnancy and I really wish I knew that doulas existed because I didn’t have the best experience with my first. A lot of moms go through the same thing in first pregnancy like I did. Women need that support and encouragement from another women that can tell you what is best for you and also support you on the decisions you make that’s what Angelina did for me. Doctors are not there for you 24/7 like a doula would be. I would recommend Angelina all the way!!! Wouldn’t want anyone else to be there by my side. She was just the sweetest completely nonjudgmental and encouraging person. She was so supportive on the decisions I was making. My son was born in a peaceful and joyful setting exactly what I was hoping for! I can’t thank you enough Angelina for being my doula and making me so calm and relaxed when i was in so much pain.
