I found Megan through DoulaMatch and I'm so grateful I did. Upon initial interview I could sense her calming presence and I appreciated her breadth of knowledge of various birthing experiences and birthing centers. As a first time mom, it was very important to me to have someone that could help advocate for me and help me maintain a calm environment during birth. Megan exceeded my expectations! The day of she was so intuitive and so supportive, she even helped my husband maintain the birth plan I desired. So eternally grateful for all of the help!

Working with Meghan was truly amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable and helped guide me in so many decisions to create the ideal birth plan. She was incredibly responsive to all my texts leading up to my due date and offered unwavering support. When it came to my delivery day, she was there every step of the way offering advice and guidance prior to being admitted. Once I was admitted, Meghan helped carry out my birth plan and created the most perfect environment to deliver my baby. The mood was calm, serene, and she helped encourage me through all aspects of labor and delivery. She also provided guidance to my husband on ways to support me both physically and emotionally as I was delivering our baby. In the first couple weeks postpartum, she checked up on me often and did an in-home visit as another chance to offer support and answer questions that arose following the birth of my baby. I can't recommend Meghan enough and am so grateful for all her support, kindness, and guidance. Will definitely use her for all ny births moving forward!

Our midwife recommended Doulaing Sisters and I have only great things to say about Megan and Mandy and their birth services! Megan was our doula and we also took Hypnobirthing class with her and the whole process was so positive! We're so grateful for her support through encouragement, resources, and especially during labor and delivery. She helped us remain calm and in charge and made me feel confident in the process.

Megan was so patient and supportive throughout my birth experience. I appreciated that she gave her honest opinion while also supporting and respecting my choices. She will be your advocate at the hospital and help you know what to expect - especially helpful for first time moms!

100% would recommend having one of these amazing women at your birth! Couldn’t have asked for a better team to get me through the birth of my daughter safely and naturally! The support that is provided both before, during and after labor is unmatched. I truly could not have done this without Megan. Megan provided alternate solutions to relief pain and keep labor productive as well as aromatherapy.
Will absolutely be hiring her again for all my babies!

Having Megan as a doula provided guidance the guidance and support I needed as a first time mother to bring my baby into the world. Megan was and still is very responsive to my needs and inquiries she was super patient and answered all my patients. As I look back tears come into my eyes, dealing with a pregnant women and being their person is a hard job!!! She was again so supportive and guided me in my labor, encouraged me so much. I remember I was in pain and she was firm but patient in what needed to be done to get the baby out. My husband wasn't 100% on board with getting a doula at the beginning because he wasn't familiar with the idea if you ask him now he would tell you GET IT. We are both physicians and we 100% recommend a doula she will fight and protect you. She will fight for your baby yourself and your birth plan. As a woman you need a lot of support to bring the baby out and the doula will you just that. Forget about a pretty nursery and all the baby clothes and get support!! Post partum was very hard for me as my baby had trouble latching and feeding and Megan guided me to the right support group to continue my journey. I cannot recommend her enough!!

From pregnancy through postpartum, Megan was a total game changer in our adventures as new parents.
Throughout my pregnancy, Megan was there for support, sharing excitement, and checking in after appointments. Especially in those last few weeks, she was there for tons of questions too (e.g., Is it worth it to buy my own birthing gown? Does this sound like it was my mucus plug?). Her prenatal visit to our house helped me think through important questions, so we didn't have to make decisions from square one in the moment during our birth.
In early labor, Megan was so helpful, staying awake most of the night with me, recommending positions to labor in, and validating that these weren't more Braxton Hicks contractions. This gave me confidence and allowed my husband to rest up.
Once we arrived at the hospital, Megan provided endless support to my husband and I, suggesting options I wouldn’t have thought to ask for (e.g., laboring in the shower), helping me talk through decisions, and holding my hand every step of the way. She made sure the atmosphere in the room remained calm and peaceful, something I didn't think was possible at a hospital birth. When baby turned sunny side up, she recommended positions that would encourage him to turn back over. She was there to pray with us, empower us, and make sure my husband had a minute to grab a sandwich in our over 24 hour labor.
When baby arrived, she took the sweetest photos without me even realizing. When we struggled with nursing after arriving home, Megan helped us find a lactation consultant ASAP. And when she came to our house for the postpartum visit, our little one reacted like he already knew her. It was so special to have her as part of our little team!
I just can't say enough about our experience. As an anxious first time mom, I can't imagine a better situation. Megan will be one of the first people I call the next time we're pregnant!
