I was referred to Hayley by a very close friend of mine. She only had wonderful things to say about her. After my first FaceTime meeting and following her page for a while on instagram, I knew I needed Hayley. 
This was my first pregnancy and it was not planned. I deal with anxiety so I was FREAKING out about being pregnant. Any question I had she answered it in full transparency. Good or bad. When I went into labor I was a week early. I was really trying to go natural but again I was terrified. But I also really didn't want an epidural. I mentally prepared myself so much. When I got to the hospital I was already 9cm. I had a very fast labor but anything I asked or needed Hayley was there. She had me move around and try different positions. She lightened the energy by distracting me and making me laugh in between contractions and I think it really helped. She made sure I was hydrated and comfortable. Her affirmations and positive talk was really what I needed. I really wanted to do delayed cord clamping, and she made sure that happened. I also really wanted to do one hour of skin to skin after he was here, and she also made sure that happened with no interruptions. She made sure I got food and water immediately after birth and she really just took care of me and my needs. I think at the end of the day that's all us women need during that time because all the doctors are focused on baby and husband's are trying to do everything so to have someone focused on you is definitely a game changer. The photos she got were amazing and so special. Even the few minutes that my family spent with her in the room while she was still there they only had good things to say about her as well! If, and when I get pregnant again, I would definitely want Hayley by my side again. My son is two months old and I am still texting her, asking her questions, and she still answers my crazy questions! She is the best! If it was a thought to get a doula just do it!

Hayley is amazing. She was such a blessing to my husband and I. I've said multiple times that I could not have done this without her. She was so patient and sweet and helped me move me into different positions and helped communicate my needs to hospital staff. It was a long labor and I'm so thankful to have had her by my side. She also captured the most beautiful photos of my labor. I will definitely be contacting her again when it's time for baby #2.

Hayley is amazing! Her calm, positive presence helped set the tone for my labor and delivery. She helped manage complicated family drama, moved me around into positions to help manage my pain, anticipated my needs and explained medical options to make decisions easier. Oh, and she did all that while she was 30 some weeks pregnant herself! I had planned on getting an epidural but with her help I was able to manage without and I'm so glad I did. Hayley will be my first call when I'm pregnant with the next one, maybe even before I tell my husband. Hire her! Quick! Before she's booked up!!

Hayley is an amazing doula! I was on the fence on whether or not to hire a doula for my home birth, and I am so glad that I did! The care and support she provided helped me to birth my baby girl. In the moments where I felt I was losing control, she helped me come back and stay focused on labor. She took beautiful photos even in the midst of being a major pillar of support for me and my family. I only spoke with Hayley a handful of times before she came to my home to help me with my birth and yet it felt like I was hanging out with a close friend. What a calm presence she brings to the birthing world. This is definitely a calling and gift she has- to help mamas in some of their most vulnerable moments. We are so thankful for Hayley!

Nothing but greats things to say about our doula Hayley. This is our second time using Sunshine Doulas and couldn't be happier. My main goal was to deliver via VBAC and I was able to do it with the help of our amazing doula Hayley. She was incredibly knowledgeable and I felt that I was in the best of hands. My husband and I will always recommend Sinshine Doula Services and encourage out friends and family to have a doula especially for first time parents.  Hayley became the strongest advocate for me about halfway through my pregnancy when I found her. I knew I wanted and needed an educated advocate who could help me think and talk through things and understand decisions to empower myself. Hayley is experienced, she is educated and helps talk you through diplomatically choices and decisions without pressure just supporting you. I felt I recieved emotional support and encouragement as well in a beautiful vision of womanhood, pregnancy and birth. She helped me face and process my own fears and reservations and see a greater vision of what birth and labor are. 

 She helped transform my journey with her knowledge, resources, connections and advocacy my whole experience prenatal as well as labor and birth. 

Hayley is a down to earth, kind and bold advocate who you will feel safe and supported by. I felt so much trust and rapport built with her quickly. She is a genuine person who has deep care for her clients. Hayley is the best coach I have ever had. I called her coach during my birth as a term of honor. If you want a calm presence who is grounded and speaks over you in encouragement and helpful specific guidance who is hands on every moment caring for you from water, to a cool towel on your head, breathing directions and body counter pressure in the split moment you need it this is your woman. I cannot put to words the love and care that Hayley has for you. From walking me to the bathroom for the first time after labor and helping me get on the toilet in intimate moments always dignifying me, taking care of me, providing comfort and support and encouragement. It was Hayley's calm grounded voice of strength and encouragement in my long journey pushing that kept me guided and going. She is just a phenomenal coach who is a nurturer as well. 

I could not have done this without Hayley.

We are so glad we decided on a doula for our first birthing experience. My husband was relieved to have someone else in the room with us to act as a mediator and guide. Hayley was helpful, knowledgeable, and faithful all throughout the long hours and unexpected twists and turns. She offered genuine encouragement and support during and after delivery - there's just something intimate and bonding about sharing your personal birthing experience with someone else. I'm also SO happy for the candid photos she captured of my husband, me, our son, the staff, and the labor process in general, too!

I can't even begin to describe how amazing Hayley is! I'm so lucky to have had her on my team for the birth of my first child. As soon as I learned I was pregnant, I began doing research and learning about labor and delivery. My husband and I met Hayley after we took an 8-hour crash course lamaze class and my husband realized that the OBGYN does not help during labor, just for birth.

As soon as we met Hayley, we knew she was a good fit for our team. She is super knowledgable, kind, and respectful. She also didn't seem pushy like some other doulas. We wanted our OBGYN and doula to work together, not against each other, and Hayley definitely had that mindset. She basically said "I will support whatever you and your husband want/need" and that was perfect for us. 

Throughout my pregancy, Hayley was available for me to text with any random questions which she quickly responded to. Upon my due date, our baby boy showed no intentions of coming so Hayley worked with us to make a 4-day plan with different things to try (i.e. accupuncture, hiking, homeopathics, labor shake) each day leading up to my scheduled induction at 41 weeks and 4 days. Low and behold, the Sunday before my induction my water broke after I completed the last thing from my plan from Hayley. We were in constant contact that weekend and I really felt like I had so much support from someone experienced on my side. 

Despite all efforts, I ended up requiring a C-section but Hayley was still there every step of the way. She assured us that having the C-section was okay. She was there to capture the precious moments right after the birth of our son. She helped teach me about a proper latch and make sure my son was getting a good latch. 

Most importantly, Hayley was there for me postpartum. She sent me therapy resources as well as supplements to try as I figured out what postpartum looked like. I truly can't thank her enough for her unwavering support.

My experience with Hayley as my doula was nothing short of amazing. I couldn’t imagine my birth experience without her. Hayley was kind, thoughtful and extremely generous with her time and knowledge. When I had a question whether it was during pregnancy or postpartum, she was available to answer. During L&D, Hayley was a constant support and encouragement. Her gentle presence was exactly what I needed. She brought a calm to the most vulnerable moment of my life. Couldn’t recommend Hayley more - she is the absolute best!

When I first found out that I was pregnant, I was on the fence about if a doula would be beneficial to my husband & I as we embarked on our very first pregnancy journey.  To say that Hayley was helpful would be a complete understatement.  Hayley went far above & beyond any expectations my husband & I had after deciding to make her a part of our birthing team.  She was available to educate us & answer questions throughout our entire pregnancy.  As our delivery date came & went without our little babe deciding to make an entrance, my nerves and anxiety really began to spike.  Hayley's words of encouragement & experience with first time mommas helped to alleviate my nerves, relax & trust the process.  Oddly enough, when I relaxed and let go, my baby girl decided to come that same night!

My husband said, after our baby girl was born, that he could not have imagined going through it all without Hayley there.  It gave him comfort to have someone with so much experience with what is normal/abnormal that he could relax & fully be there for me.  The post-partum check-up was also something that I had no idea how bad my husband & I needed.  Not only did Hayley check-in with both my husband & I, but our baby girl as well.  Again she provided knoweldge & encouragement as we navigated a few things like latch issues, a tongue & lip tie.  Her support did not just end after the post-partum visit, but she has been available even after to answer questions for this new momma. 

The amount of gratitude my husband & I have for Hayley is not something we could ever put into words.  She radiates a calm energy & is so dedicated to her clients, which is shown in her constant support.  Thank you so much Hayley for being a part of our journey.  We are forever grateful.

Hayley is a wonderful doula, so thankful for her presence at the birth of my baby girl...she is knowledgeable, communicative, patient, and was a comforting presence through a long and difficult labor. Because of her support I was able to have a successful unmedicated VBAC according to my birth plan. I highly recommend Hayley and Sunshine Doula services!

My husband and I have recently moved to America, so the healthcare system is completely new to us. We decided for the birth of our first child we would hire a Doula for the support and guidance through this new journey in a new country. We were recommended Hayley from a couple at our baby classes. 

Upon interviewing Hayley we knew she was the right fit for us. From the moment we hired Hayley to after the birth she was amazing. She was always accesible to contact at any time for anything - no question was a silly one. Hayley never judged or laughed at anything we asked, she always made us feel comfortable. Hayley always had a sweet voice and smile no matter what, but at the same time was very honest with us. This is one of the reasons we hired her - she always ensured to give the hard truth so we knew where we stood in terms of the birthing journey. Throughout my labour and birthing Hayley was by my side, holding me, supporting me, encouraging me and making me feel like the most important person. She made me feel like I was doing my best. On top of that she was a great support for my husband, giving him a break to rest and also showing him how. to best support me. I could not recommend her more! I am thankful for having her and would share her with every pregnant lady if i could! Thank you Hayley for being amazing!

So incredibly thankful for Hayley during my birth experience. As a VBAC and first time vaginal birth, it was a long and difficult labor, but thanks to Hayley I was able to stick close to my all natural birth plan and made it through unmedicated. She is knowledgeable, comforting, extremely supportive--a wonderful doula. Highly recommend!

I started looking into doulas late into my pregnancy at around 37 weeks. I had had sort of an idea of what a doula was earlier along in my pregnancy and thought that kind of support role could be filled by my husband. But, up unto this point of 37 weeks I learned more about how doulas know birth, and your partner knows you. So immediately I was hooked and started looking and found Hayley on this website. Hayley was very welcoming, confident and informative on everything I needed her to be. I was very comfortable in texting her and asking any questions when I needed to and she always responded super quick! Most importantly my birth experience was amazing, I labored at home where she helped with multiple positions and got to the hospital already at 10cm! The postpartum visit was just what I needed and definitely recommend that part to anyone. I received my edited photos and timeline of birth just week or two after and they were beautiful. Hayley was incredible and I'm thankful for her willingness to help

I cannot even express how grateful we are that Hayley was a part of our pregnancy, labor and delivery journey! Hayley was there for me every step of the way to answer questions throughout pregnancy, and helped guide me through a very long labor and delivery. Her knowledge and compassion made my birth experience positive despite circumstances that were less than ideal at our hospital. She advocated for me to ensure our birth plan was followed, helped move my labor along with different positions, and helped my husband be involved too.
   Without Hayley, I would have ended up having an unnecessary c-section (hospital staff mentioned it 19 times even though I had no complications and mine and babies vitals were fine) with Hayley's help, I was able to deliver my beautiful daughter naturally without medication. She was an absolute life saver, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking!

I loved having Hayley as my doula. She was always available to answer any of my questions throughout the pregnancy and would reach out with support and encouragement randomly. She truly made me feel as though I were a friend rather than a client. When I went past my due date, she went far above and beyond to help me out of a sticky situation where a provider was engaging in scare tactics because she knew that I wanted to trust my body. She had taken the time to get to know me and understood my history and how important it was to me to avoid being bullied into something unnecessary. Without her support that day, I am not sure what would have happened. She is also studying to become a midwife and has a wealth of knowledge. She shared my faith and was always willing to pray for me when I asked her. I truly can not say enough nice things about her!

Hayley was hands down the best thing we didn't know we needed. I cannot say enough good things about her! Our baby wasn't in the right position, the hospital was full leaving me to labor in triage, and of course I went into labor at 2am but yet Hayley made all of those things not seem like a big deal. She is kind and calm but strong and very knowledgable. She took control when needed in the absolute best way. My husband and my mom who were present during the birth felt supported and encouraged to be apart of the experience when they wanted to but not pushed if they didn't want to in the moment. If you're thinking about having a doula, Hayley is your girl- you won't regret it. I 100% believe I could not have given birth naturally without her!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Hayley is. My husband and I had no idea what we were doing with our first baby and Hayley walked us through the process from the moment I found her. She promptly answered all 10,000 of my questions throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. As for the birth, I am certain I would not have been able to have a natural birth without her. She somehow knew my baby needed to move positions and she was able to provide different techniques to get baby to move and provide me more comfort. Hayley has incredible wisdom and an ease about her that is invaluable to have during pregnancy and especially during labor/birth. I can’t imagine having our baby without her and will 100% have her for all of our future children!

From our first meeting, Hayley’s calming presence brought much needed assurance to the birth of our first child. During our initial visit my husband and I expressed our differing expectations for birth, yet left feeling confident we had a birth plan we both wanted. We walked through various active labor poses to bring familiarity to the experience, and she answered all our questions. She was very responsive leading up to labor, so I never had to guess whether something was “normal”. 

When contractions started, Hayley talked to us throughout the entire evening, encouraging us to use different body positions to help the baby get ready, and to try and sleep to conserve energy. Once laboring in the hospital, she knew I didn’t want an epidural so she calmly directed me through various positions around the room, helped me focus my breathing through each contraction, provided relief with essential oils and cool cloths, and continued to share words of affirmation until the baby was born. Overall, we labored in the hospital for only about 5 hours and I credit our smooth delivery to her unwavering presence throughout. 

During my postpartum recovery, I struggled with breastfeeding and all over hives/PPE rash, but Hayley provided comfort and solutions when I didn’t know who to ask. She also connected us to our wonderful lactation consultant. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to reach out to someone knowledgable at all stages of our pregnancy. Two months later and Hayley has not only continued to love on our baby but has become a dear friend.

Hayley was a game-changer for my birth! I can’t say enough how helpful she was at guiding me through the birth process and helping me reach my goal of an unmedicated physiological birth. She knew exactly what to say and where to touch in order to help me embrace the contractions and trust my body. I was particularly helped and floored by her ability to help me psychologically when I hit roadblocks in my progress. She helped me pinpoint my fears and work through them so that I could have my beautiful baby girl in my arms as soon as possible. She was also incredibly helpful in her postpartum session with me where we worked through some of my anxiety around mothering. Her strength and confidence reassured me that I can trust my instincts and that my baby is safe. Hayley was a freaking rockstar for me. So thankful I found her.

I cannot say enough good things about Hayley. Finding her was the biggest blessing; I have no idea how I would’ve gotten through labor without her. She was such an amazing resource and I trusted her to be an objective voice when it came to my birth preferences. She spent so much time with us answering all of our questions before the birth and made us aware of decisions we didn't even know we would be asked to make in a hospital setting. Once I went into labor, Hayley just went into superwoman mode. She just knew how to read the room and provide the perfect amount of support I needed. Even the hospital staff loved her so much that they requested her information to have as a resource for other soon-to-be moms who asked for doula recommendations.
My only regret is not taking a picture of Hayley, my baby and I. Thankfully I do have one of her and my sweet babe that I will cherish forever.
I will forever be grateful for Hayley’s guidance and friendship!
