Amanda was such a peaceful and empathetic presence throughout my labor and delivery journey. When early labor was becoming discouraging she came over for a bit to lay eyes on me and help me through various positions. Every time she walked in our door for a pregnancy appt, labor, or postpartum visit I felt so safe and cared for. When our birth plan did not go according to plan she was there every step of the way to provide hands on support, a listening ear, and helpful guidance. My husband felt so supported and empowered by her to aid me through coping mechanisms. Even though my labor and birth from the outside could have been labeled as complicated or traumatic, I did not carry that with me into postpartum because I knew that every decision we made was thoughtfully considered with the help of Amanda’s thorough knowledge. Never once did I feel my autonomy being taken away. I have never felt more respected or dignified than in that labor and delivery room. Every nurse in our room kept saying over and over that Amanda was the best doula they had ever experienced. You need to hire Amanda. She will pray for you, love on you, and empower you to surrender to the birthing journey. We love Amanda!

I didn’t know exactly what to expect from a doula as this was my first pregnancy, but I knew I wanted some extra support. Amanda exceeded all expectations. She was so supportive and informative. She calmed my and my husband’s fears during my pregnancy and was a peaceful and reassuring presence in the delivery room. You can tell that she truly cares about her clients as humans. If we were to have another baby, we would 100% hire Amanda as our doula!

Where do I even begin with how amazing Amanda is?? I loved how she got to know our family before my labor and gave me the resources I needed to prepare my mind for an unmedicated hospital birth. She provided incredible support during my labor and was very hands on providing physical and emotional support during transition and pushing. She worked hand in hand with my midwife to give me the birth experience I wanted and I will forever be grateful to her for supporting my body and my mind to do the dang thing!! If you are wanting a beautiful and supportive birth experience- do yourself a favor and hire Amanda.

Hiring Amanda as our doula was the best money we spent throughout my pregnancy and birth. I was prepared for a dreamy birth at a birth center, and wanted her there to support me during that, and of course if anything didn't go to plan. And NOT go to plan, it did!! I ended up transferring to the hospital during labor and I was pretty devastated that my birth plan seemed to fly out the window... and then Amanda arrived. She took charge of my environment and made everything as relaxing as possible. With her support, I was able to have my unmedicated birth, just like I wanted. She provided hands on support throughout my entire labor and delivery, anticipating my every need and knowing exactly what to do to comfort me. My husband didn't know the power of a doula before labor, but he definitely understood how amazing it was to have Amanda there for us after- absolutely raving about her support. The hospital tried to push a few things and she reminded us to pause, so we could get our footing and not be pressured into doing something we would regret out of pressure from staff. I would not hesitate to book her and I will gladly move mountains to ensure she can be at my next birth. My birth experience wasn't what I thought it would be and it definitely was more dramatic than I was hoping, but without Amanda, I have no doubt it would have been traumatic and jolting. And her support postpartum has been amazing as well. Her presence is comforting and powerful. Thank you, Amanda, for being such a valuable member of our care team- I am eternally grateful for you and your gifts and expertise as a doula!!! HIRE HER!!!

My husband and I had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Amanda by our side. She is so well informed as a doula and all around fantastic advocate leading up to and during our labor/delivery. She even made herself available postpartum, which is above and beyond the services we agreed to or expected. I had switched from an OB practice to a midwife team at 34 weeks, and was feeling the pressure of dealing with a medical model that seemed to hijack just about every birth I had heard about up to that point. Amanda was the faith-driven advocate I needed in my corner to help navigate a hospital birth with as little meddling as possible. My unmedicated, natural labor experience was a dream, and I felt confident in what was taking place the entire time thanks so much to her calm and encouraging presence m! I also love that she didn’t make my husband feel like the third wheel in the room — she was even so kind and intentional to capture videos and photos of us as he supported me during active labor and our first encounters of our baby girl so we could focus on the precious moments. Truly could not speak more highly of Amanda — you’ll go into your birth experience with a solid foundation

Amanda is AMAZING! As a first time mom, I was clueless and didn’t know what all I needed so I wanted someone to help us navigate this new chapter.Amanda was kind and helpful throughout the whole process, even postpartum. She also knows her way around every good hospital in Nashville, which makes her even more of an asset when you are in labor and need an advocate! Overall she was amazing and we would definitely use her again if we have another child.

Amanda is INCREDIBLE! As a first time mom, I was clueless and didn’t know what all I needed. I know now that a doula is a MUST for labor and delivery, no matter what setting that may be. I highly highly recommend Amanda for your doula needs! I found her late in my pregnancy but she still made sure I got the face to face time I needed. She helps you to feel well educated, cared for, understood, and heard.  She was such a calming presence at my home birth. She spoke verses over me and prayed for me, all while taking pictures and videos that I will treasure forever. Amanda with Rose Birth Services would be the best addition to your birth team.

Let me start off with sharing ??????????!

My husband and I were so blessed to have Amanda as our doula. We felt as prepared as we could be going into our first labor experience because of her. She provided us with knowledge and education for what we wanted in a birth plan. We also felt fully supported with her during our hospital labor and delivery and she also helped spin our baby from posterior to anterior facing just before I started pushing. Before meeting with Amanda, my husband was a doula skeptic and now he is a doula fan lol and for the men out there, she doesn’t make you feel replaced in the delivery room ???? she helps you guys in the moments as well! I can’t say enough good things about Amanda. She is truly the best doula I have worked with! This was my third child and I have used doulas with all three. Amanda takes the time to listen to what you want your labor/delivery to look like. She then makes that experience be the best it can be. Amanda is amazing! I did an all natural birth at a birth center for our first baby, and can't imagine having done it without her! She was such a calm, confident, and knowledgeable presence for my husband and I through the entire birth. She helped me get through contractions more comfortably and reminded me of truths like "you're safe" and "you're one contraction closer to meeting your baby!" She was also a very clear and timely communicator leading up to the birth (10 days passed our due date) and checking in on us postpartum. Cannot recommend her enough!!

I knew when I decided on a natural hospital birth I was going to need someone to help me through. Amanda was such a blessing and support for me during my labor. She knew exactly what to do to get it started again after it stalled and helped me with positioning during labor to help baby move down more. Amanda truly has magic hands and knew exactly where I needed counter pressure and when. She stayed with me after the delivery when my daughter had to be monitored in the nursery and I was so thankful to not be alone since my husband was with my daughter. Amanda was our doula for my daughters recent unmedicated hospital delivery. She was AMAZING. During pregnancy, Amanda made herself available, was helpful, and was very inclusive of my husband. During delivery, she allowed special moments for me and my husband but, when transition hit, and I needed guidance, she knew just what to do to help me achieve my goal of an unmedicated delivery. Amanda quickly identified what I needed and stepped in. During postpartum Amanda has continued to be helpful with check ins and suggestions on how to make the newborn phase more manageable. Amanda is a wonderful doula and person and I am confident she would be a great addition to your birth team!
