Just six weeks ago, my Kylie LuAnn graced the world with her joy, smile, and warmest baby snuggles. ?? For the last six weeks, I've cried tears of happiness alongside tears of exhaustion. I've felt overwhelming love of being a new mom alongside overwhelming fear of motherhood. My Kylie Lu is my whole world and I would not have gotten through delivery, or the last six weeks of being her mommy without the world of people sharing their support.

One of the biggest supports that Marcus and I have had throughout the last few months has been with an amazing woman named Chris. Chris started out as just a doula and then through the process of her love, support, and guidance during the birth of Kylie, she became a friend, confidant, Theia to our baby, and blessing all wrapped in one beautiful human.

She taught me the power of my breathe as a coping mechanism for my anxiety and fear. She showed me that I was capable of doing the greatest thing of delivering my daughter. Chris has gone above and beyond for my family and I in so many ways. She stayed with me during the entirity of my induction and labor. She was the emotional rock my boyfriend and sister needed when my vaginal delivery turned into a C-Section. She has helped me in numerous ways post partum, such as caring for Kylie while her daddy and I get rest, helping us clean our messy apartment of bottles and burp clothes laying about, and is just a text or call away when my new mom anxiety kicks in.

Chris Economou Olson, Marcus and I are forever grateful to you for helping us bring our baby girl into this world, for supporting us as new parents, and guiding us in this new adventure of love. Kylie loves her Theia Chris so much!

If you're pregnant and have any interest in having a labor doula or post partum doula, Marcus and I recommend Chris wholeheartedly! She is the biggest blessing we didn't know we needed until she came into our lives. 

My experience with Chrissy was absolutely wonderful, and I would highly recommend her!!    I hired Chrissy as my labor doula for the birth of my daughter in April 2022, and was very happy with my choice.  She will support you in the exact way that is right for you, and respect your preferences without ever judging.  

Chrissy was so knowledgeable with answering all my questions prior to the delivery.   She is kind and supportive, checking in regularly to see how the pregnancy was going and meeting with me twice before delivery.  During the actual labor/delivery, she was priceless- I could not have gotten through it without her.  She is very attentive, and anticipated my every need- at times before I even knew what I needed.  Chrissy has a great sense of urgency in the heat of the moment,  and a very calming demeanor.  During the very intense last part of a 22 hour labor, she was invaluable in guiding me through it and helping me to remain as calm as possible.

I also found her pricing to be very reasonable!

I am forever grateful to have been introduced to Karissa Bollinger at the start of my 3rd trimester. I was never familiar with the role of a doula nor have I had any previous knowledge or idea on what to expect for the end stages of my pregnancy/preparing for delivery. Other than the monthly/biweekly appointments with my OB where I learned the HR of my baby and my blood pressure, being informed or educated never occurred. 

However, this is why Karissa was A LIFE SAVER! At our first meeting she sat down with my husband and myself answering any and all questions thoroughly, putting our minds at ease and helping us understand the process from the 3rd trimester through arriving home from the hospital. As we continued weekly meetings, I learned multiple different breathing techniques, exercises on my birth ball, ways my husband can help me when the labor process has begun, be my voice at the hospital when talking was nearly impossible, etc. 

Most importantly, Karissa always made herself available for us 24/7! Through her expertise and guidance I know we would have made so many mistakes, specifically make our way to the hospital far earlier than we needed to, which I am so grateful didn’t occur. I know I’ll never be able to thank her enough for everything she has done for us, but what I can do is HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs services and advice like we did!!
