Something that Bri added to our birth experience was a steady calmness. She kept us anchored, calm and confident throughout the entire birth process. One of Bri’s strengths as she supported our family was that she fit in so naturally at our birth. She seemed so comfortable to be there, even in the most intimate and least glamorous moments. It is difficult to enter into one of the most intimate moments of someone’s life and for it to feel natural and comfortable, and Bri showed an incredible gift at this.

A significant memory from my birth is when we arrived to the hospital and the valet man, after hearing I was in labor, in a panic started to clumsily wheel me off, separating me from Bri and my husband while they were screened for covid. Bri very quickly stepped in and advocated for me, confidently telling the man that I was fine, and that I would wait with them and did not want to be separated from my support team. She stepped up for us exactly how we needed her to, and we laugh about the scared naive valet man every time we tell our birth story.

You should hire Bri as your doula because she will advocate for you and help you achieve your desires for your birth. She is so eager and flexible to be whatever kind of help you need and are looking for at your birth, from feeding you ice cubes to starting the car, and overall being an extra person to lean on for support, literally and figuratively. If Bri hadn’t been there to say “I think it’s time to go to the hospital”, we probably would have given birth at home or in the car!

Bri added support, knowledge, and confidence to my birth experience. I am someone that really values support. Bri helped me remember that I was not in it alone! Bri will give you the support you need during your pregnancy journey. Her expertise in the birthing process and breastfeeding is invaluable. During pregnancy you want to have someone you can write a birth plan with, talk about birth potential positions with, and everything in between... Bri is the perfect person for just that! I was so thankful to have her there to support not only me and my husband, but my parents as well. She helped them to understand what was going on! I also always knew I could lean on her for support and guidance throughout my pregnancy & for that I will be forever grateful!

Bri was such an encouraging and helpful presence at my birth. She always affirmed me and was so loving and knowledgeable. She helped me keep going and to have the kind of birth experience I wanted! Even later after the birth she was there to process the experience with me and affirmed me and it really helped me to feel happy and confident.

Bri is wonderful. She is calm, knowledgeable, loving, and has a really great presence during birth. She helped me to keep going through hard parts without making me feel upset or judged and she was so supportive and helpful.

Bri helped me to keep part of my birth plan and without her I’m not sure I would’ve been able to do it. I wanted no cervical checks and no IV. The nurses came in regularly to give me those interventions but Bri helped by surrounding me as a helper and making it “never a good time” for those interventions to occur. She helped me with positions, and was just a very helpful presence at my birth. I’m so glad she was there!

You should hire Bri as your doula because doulas are essential if you want to truly have an advocate for you at your birth, and because doulas greatly increase positive birth outcomes and because Bri has experience, knowledge, and the heart for this. Being a doula is the perfect fit for Bri, which makes her the perfect fit for you. She’s fun, she’s kind, she’s strong. Honestly she’s great. Just hire Bri.
