It took me a long time to find a doula because it seemed like I was looking for a holistic "unicorn". That was until I stumbled upon Michelle's profile. I loved her natural approach and that she had so many holistic tools under her belt. During our initial meeting, I knew right away I had found the perfect doula for our home birth. She is so warm, maternal, non judgmental, knowledgeable, supportive and my favorite part is that she is on your team 100% and so accommodating. Her philosophy is, "if you need me, call me" instead of following arbitrary rules like "5,5,5" or whatever else. She thoroughly discusses your goals and hopes for your birth and works to help you achieve those. She knows exactly when to step in and when to step back and she is also a huge support to your partner which my husband found so helpful. If I were to have another baby, I would work with Michelle again without question. We love her! 100/10 recommend!

Michelle was amazing! In the beginning, we weren’t sure if we needed a doula but I am so glad we decided on Michelle. I immediately felt comfortable with her and with an interesting pregnancy journey, she was the stable part of my care team. Her knowledge of the healthcare system and advice throughout my pregnancy was invaluable. She took the time to get to know the whole family, (even the cat!) and always kept our wishes in mind.

She helped us prepare for labor and came to the hospital prepared with all the things we forgot and didn’t think to bring. She jumped right in and the midwives and staff were so impressed they asked for her information to share. It was such a relief to have her there helping not only me, but my husband as well. Her guidance and calm disposition helped everything go as smoothly as possible. I also love the photos she was able to take and look at them often.  

I truly can’t say enough good things about Michele’s work and would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

I don’t know where to begin, Michelle is truly an earth side angle. If you are on the fence about having a doula support you through your pregnancy, birth and postpartum, I am here to tell you, you need Michelle. From our very first meet and greet it felt like we had been friends for ages. Talking to her about any and everything ranging from pregnancy to our dogs to home renovations (??) was so easy and her sense of humor immediately won me over. I knew I would feel confident and safe with her by our side during our little guys birth. She sent us so much wonderful information and helped me find resources when I had questions or needed clarification. Our visits throughout my pregnancy were so relaxing and fun and let me tell you the reflexology and Reiki saved my poor feet. Then came our little one’s actual birth, Michelle was available and so patient with us as this was our first child. She helped me get what would turn out to be a VERY needed nap while I was in early labor. She was right by my side and sooo supportive of my wishes when it came to wanting as little medical intervention as possible and really helped me advocate for myself. I can never thank her enough for helping me get through back labor for EIGHT hours of pushing. I truly feel without her support I would have ended up having a c section. I cannot say enough good things about her and would recommend her to anyone in need of a doula. She was there for us before, during and after delivery.

Michelle was an incredible support during birth, she was calm and nurturing and exactly the presence I needed. You can tell she has done this before and her confidence gave me confidence. I had a non-medicated birth and I can't imagine how it would have gone without her. She was able to distract me and offer helpful suggestions. I ended up having amost all of my labor at home with her, with a planned transfer to the birthing center. The pre-birth support was great as well, we came up with multiple birth plans that I felt very confident about. Post-birth she came to visit me and again was a calm and supportive presence. 

I HIGHLY reccomend Michelle as a doula, I think her services are well worth the cost.

We are so pleased with our experience and the support provided by Michelle. She easily connected with our family and was part of our team partnering with us every step of our birth journey. Her kind and warm energy is very calming.  Michelle's knowledgeable experience helped us feel empowered and able to advocate for our desired birth plan. An unfortunate car accident resulted in us having to deviate from our anticipated birth plan. Michelle adapted and helped us navigate a very positive experience. So grateful we found the perfect doula match for our family. Thank you!

Michelle was absolutely wonderful to work with, we met several times leading up to my labor and she provided us with some great resources and materials as we prepared. I had early labor contractions starting a week beforehand and Michelle came to my house several times and went curb walking with me and checked in. The day of my labor she was there from the very start to the end, a total of 16 hours and she never wavered. I truly couldn’t have had the unmedicated labor I wanted without her. Even after our sweet girl was born she continues to check in and be an amazing resource for us, we couldn’t recommend Michelle enough!

Michelle was an amazing doula and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for birth or postpartum support. She was extremely professional and had a lot of resources for both my husband and I. I specifically chose her because she offered some reflexology massage techniques and it was truly lovely to get this type of support during labor. She also was a great support for my husband and kept checking in with him so that he was able to give me the best support and attention. After my baby was born she checked in several times and helped with some household chores and pointing me in the right direction for some lactation help. If I should have another baby Michelle will be one of the first people I call as her service was truly so beneficial and made the whole experience much less stressful.

From the moment we first talked to Michelle, we knew she was our doula.  It was only over the phone, thanks COVID, but between what she was saying and her tone we knew we would get along, and we found her accent super calming. We met Michelle pretty early on in my pregnancy and every few weeks she would reach out to ask how things were going and always made sure to know when my doctors appointments were to ask how they went. When I went into labor to say everything went a little differently than planned is an understatement. What started out as a birth center fully natural birth, turned into a hospital c-section birth.  Michelle came over in the middle of the night when we thought things were progressing and stayed with us for pretty much the next 4 days.  We couldn’t have had anyone better by our sides during the whole process.  She always made me feel like I was in control, even when I didn’t want to be, and she was there to help my husband through it all. Through the last 10 months she continues to check in and see how our son is doing.  She really became a part of our family during all of this and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else.

I had a very pleasant experience with Michelle as my doula. It was my first pregnancy and I felt very lost and she helped me so much with anything I had questions about. She was extremely supportive and always available for anything I needed. And we still have a close relationship even after a year! Overall great person and I couldn't ask for a better Doula or friend!

Michelle was my postpartum doula and I am beyond grateful to have had her help after I gave birth. I remember being super emotional after the hormonal drop postpartum and Michelle listened to me, validated me, and helped me process my birth story. She gave much relief watching our son so my husband and I could nap or take care of other necessities. She helped out around our house and even gave our puppy some much needed love as we navigated being new parents.
Having a postpartum doula is a game changer and getting the right fit is even more important. Michelle was a great fit and I highly recommend her.
