Lynn was great! She was very informative during our initial consultation and everything she said was accurate when it came to the birth itself. She had all of the "tricks" ready and was exactly what we needed. Our birth was easier becuase of her help.

I cannot recommend Lynn enough. This was our first child and don't have family nearby. We weren't entirely sure whether a doula was for us and didn't make the decision to hire a doula until very last minute (I was already 37 weeks). Lynn had availability and was very accommodating to meet with us several times before delivery, even given the time crunch. She was available to answer questions over text, sent me resources to satisfy my need for evidence based birth decisions, and was supportive of my desire to have the type of birth I wanted, which included a likely epidural. When my water broke spontaneously, Lynn met us at the hospital quickly and stayed with us for the next 34 hours (!!!) while we tried to induce labor first naturally and then with pitocin, and five hours of pushing, all the time with an incredibly calm, supportive, encouraging, and friendly manner. We went from complete strangers to a very intimate setting in an incredibly short period of time, and it could have been awkward and uncomfortable, but in the midst of a very long weekend of labor, Lynn was perfect. She provided the perfect complement to the medical staff, my husband, and my mother who was eventually able to join us. The midwife who delivered my daughter was so impressed with her that she even asked Lynn for her contact information to share with other expectant mothers. While both my husband and I started off uncertain about whether we a doula would really be that beneficial for us, in the end, we were SO grateful to have had her with us and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. We love you, Lynn!

Lynn was wonderful during the experience, she knew exactly what to do and when to do it. She has a very calming demeanor, which made my labor easier and I felt less panicked. After reflecting back on our labor and delivery I know for a fact I wouldn’t have been able to get through natural labor without her! We will definitely be using her again for our next baby! Not only was she awesome in getting me through labor but she took some amazing photos of us that captured our process. I highly recommend Lynn and wouldn’t do it without her!

Lynn was our doula and this was our first birth. It was the best experience. We couldn't have wished for a better doula. She gave me her full attention and respect. She was VERY supportive. Calm and centered throughout the labor. Very compassionate and empathetic. We just loved her. On the drive home from the birth my husband and I agreed that having Lynn at our birth was the best decison we could have made. We highly recommend her as a doula and will use her again if we choose to have more children in the future. LOVE YOU LYNN!

Bringing a new baby into the world is exciting and overwhelming at that same time. I highly recommend Lynn Evans to help ease the transition. Lynn was a great resource for my husband and I when we were expecting our second child. We found Lynn to be informative, supportive and encouraging. She helped us research and make decisions that best fit with our values and beliefs – and then advocated to be sure that our wishes were known. Besides being knowledgeable about issues that arise during pregnancy, Lynn is also able to advise on situations that occur after the baby is born such as breastfeeding questions, care of a newborn, suggestions for baby gear and adjustment of siblings/ family. Lynn is a wonderful resource and I am able to whole-heartedly recommend her as a doula. We certainly will always be grateful!
