I was paired with Katie as my doula through Everyday Miracles. I am so grateful that she works with their program for families on state insurance as it made having an experienced doula like her accessible for me. I said to Katie and others many times the night my baby was born that I wouldn't have been able to do it without her!!! My labor began at home where I labored for about six hours before going in to the birth center--I called Katie as we drove there and though she had been at a birth all night the night before, she came to meet us within the hour. Little did we know it would be another 24 hours before my baby was born! Katie literally only left my side during that 24 hours when I asked her to so that I could shower or have some privacy, otherwise she was right there during every contraction holding my hand and assuring me that I was on the right path. As it was my first labor I had no idea what I was doing, so her constant assurance and encouragement gave me strength because I knew she had seen many births before. She was such a source of comfort to me and my partner, and I am truly so grateful that we all got to share the experience together! Would do it over and over again with her by my side <3

It was such a gift to have Linda at our birth. From the first meeting we had, we were so helped by the resources she provided, the information she gave, and the responsiveness and care that she gave us each step of the way. During the birth, Linda provided consistent support, helping me brethe steadily for hours, applying helpful back pressure and helping to create a peaceful enviornment that made me feel taken care of and at ease. Linda is amazing! She is gentle, compassionate and confident, all things that were needed before, during and after birth! Such a gift she was! Thanks Linda!

I highly recommend Maria! As a first-time mom I was looking for additional support throughout my birth and by hiring Maria I received much more than that! Maria helped my husband and me navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She worked with me to better understand birth and to prepare my body for birth, and she walked us through creating a birth story that clearly communicated our desires for an all-natural birth. On the day of birth, Maria was insightful, caring, direct, and supportive. She guided my husband and me through positions and supported me emotionally. I also had to be transferred post-birth from the birth center to the hospital and Maria did not hesitate to go with me for support as my husband stayed back to have our son discharged from the birth center. During our postpartum visit, we were able to process the birth in a healthy and safe way. I would highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and supportive doula!
