Amy is an absolute angel, and words can’t fully express our gratitude for the incredible care and support she provided during the first months of our baby’s life. From the moment we came home, Amy became an essential part of our family. I truly don’t think I could have survived those early, challenging days without her.

We had a colicky baby who often cried for hours, and Amy brought a calm, kind, and level-headed presence that became our saving grace. There were days I felt completely overwhelmed, and Amy was there with open arms—literally and figuratively. She would give me a much-needed hug, take the baby, and let me rest, knowing he was in the best possible hands.

Amy’s care extended far beyond just soothing cries. She actively engaged with our baby, helping him learn and reach new milestones in a gentle, encouraging way. Her dedication to his progress and well-being was evident in everything she did. She wasn’t just a doula; she was a teacher, a nurturer, and a steadfast pillar of support for our entire family.

Amy’s presence brought a sense of peace to a chaotic time, and her kindness and expertise were invaluable. She not only supported our baby but also nurtured me as a new mom, always ensuring I felt cared for, rested, and capable. Amy is truly one of a kind, and we’re beyond blessed to have had her by our side. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we can’t recommend her highly enough to any family navigating the postpartum period.

Amy has been such a gift during our postpartum period. She has the sweetest energy and at the same time enters your home to get things done. She truly has incredible work ethic and it amazes me how much she can get done in a few hours. She has supported us by making meals, cleaning and organizing (she is absolutely gifted in organization), laundry, and caring for baby while I shower and get a little bit of time to care for myself. I really think every mama deserves postpartum support and if you are thinking of doing it, do it! Postpartum is such a beautiful, vulnerable, tiring, sacred time and if you can have someone support you with home care then you can really soak in rest when it is possible. I highly reccomend Amy for postpartum care and also for her organization skills!

We hired Amy as our postpartum doula and she fit right in, just like a family member. She helped us with household tasks, organizing baby's room and taking care of baby so we could nap, shower etc. Amy was intuitive to help me keep up on fluids and food, during the early days of adapting to home from the hospital. She also introduced us to tips and tricks with baby. We'd highly recommend Amy to be your postpartum doula!

Amy was an amazing doula - she was our birth and postpartum doula. My birth definitely did not go according to plan as I ended up have a home birth (I suppose to have a VBAC at a hospital). Thankfully everything was okay and Amy was a calming presence during the entire birth. Amy was also excellent during my postpartum period. She knew exactly what we needed before even asking. She toddler to the park so we could get some quiet time (and it helped my toddler feel special too). She also made sure my water bottle was filled, made sure my husband and I both ate, tidied up the place, threw clothes in the laundry and cleared up my nursing stations. And paid attention to how our home functions. All the little things. Just amazing! It was so relaxing to have someone help me exactly how I needed it. Thank you so much Amy for everything!! You were such a special pet of this birth experience.

We hired Amy as postpartum doula and she went above and beyond to help me heal and recover after my c section.  She helped us with countless things around the house such as taking out garbage, folding laundry, changing sheets, etc. She also helped us with our babies first bath and gave us great strategies and advice in our first few weeks as new parents.  She would also help take care of baby so we could have a shower or have a bite to eat.  Her expertise and hard work were very much appreciated and we would highly recommend her services!

Amy went above and beyond to support my husband and I with the birth of our first child. She gave us piece of mind leading up to the birth and provided us with exceptional support afterwards. Amy aswered all of our questions and provided guidance when we needed it or didn't even know we needed it :). Postpartum Amy would come and look after our baby so that I could have a nap. She is incredible with soothing babies for hours. Thank you Amy!

Amy Joy Mistal was an absolute blessing to my pregnancy and birthing experience! She was so welcoming, wonderful, kind and knowledgeable. She got along so well with my partner and became part of our family during this time. Through laughs, tears and the depths of labour she stayed by my side making me feel held, safe and always supported! My labour was very lengthy & she stayed the entire journey by my side. I'll never forget the care and kindness I received from her. Whoever receives her care is blessed! Thank you Amy!
