Lauren is absolutely fantastic. She helped my wife and me through the first two months of our daughter's life, which were a very difficult postpartum period for us; I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. We were very fortunate that she ended up being able to be there for our first night at home after the hospital, and for the next two months she both allowed us to catch up on sleep and acted as our own personal baby coach, answering our questions and helping to make the transition into parenthood as smooth as possible. All of her baby-related referrals and recommendations have been excellent, too; she's great at what she does, and she has exactly the calm, reassuring presence that you need as new parents. I can't recommend her highly enough; if you've made it as far as reading the recommendations on her DoulaMatch page, the best advice I can give you is to reach out to her right now to see if she has any availability for the dates you need. You won't regret it.

We are so grateful that we found Lauren as our postpartum doula. Being first time parents with no family members nearby to support, we feel this was one of the best decisions we made. She is a very loving, caring, calm and knowledgeable person. We immediately had a trust on her and felt super confident about her taking care of baby. Our baby was always happy and calm when she was around. She always followed safety protocols and guided us about it. When baby had hard time staying asleep for nap so used to have contact nap that really helped baby and meantime helped mom to relax and rest. She helped mom a lot but especially in the most crucial thing this is lactation that people don’t take it seriously before delivery. I think most first time moms need help with lactation and Lauren is so knowledgeable around it. She made sure baby latches properly, taught different positions to identify what works best for us to get better latch, shared her knowledge and experience on how to increase milk supply and what kind of schedule to follow, and so on. Another important area is chores. We never had to guide her what could help us. She just finds out and did it for us which was beyond amazing. These are just few things I mentioned, but our family received great help in our crucial days. We have been recommending her to our friends and will definitely reach out if we ever plan another baby. She is just incredible.

Lauren Letsinger is an exceptional postpartum doula whose calming presence and unwavering support have been invaluable to our family during the postpartum period. From the moment she arrived, she made us feel completely at ease and provided us with the support and advice we needed to care for our newborn baby.
We appreciate that Lauren is an excellent communicator, letting us know when she'd be here, any upcoming adjustments to schedule, and offering advice. Another one of Lauren's strengths is her ability to offer resources on how to incorporate our newborn into our family with an older sibling. We were anxious about how to manage the needs of both of our children. Lauren provided us with practical tips and guidance that helped us easily navigate this transition. She also helped us with establishing breastfeeding in those early days when things are so raw, overwhelming, and new.
But it wasn't just the advice that made Lauren's support so valuable. It was her unwavering patience as we adjusted to life as a family of four-- those late-night chats she had with my husband (while I was joyfully sleeping!). Her calming presence helped us navigate the anxieties and challenges of early second-time parenthood with confidence.
Add let's not forget the snacks! Lauren's attention to detail and thoughtfulness extended to the little things, like making surprising us with yummy treats here and there that lifted the heart.
Finally, Lauren's exceptional care for our baby cannot be overstated. She took the time to get to know our baby's unique needs, personality, and preferences. We are so grateful to have had her in our lives during this special time.

Lauren helped me meet my family's needs during my Post Partum recovery. I am a single working mother and needed help with juggling my 2 children (ages 3 yrs old and 1 yr old), while I breastfed my newborn on demand and able to be off my feet to recover. She was on time, flexible with communications. She went above and beyond! She was patient with my 3 year old who was struggling with less attention and all the changes and she warmed up to my active 1 yr old son. I reccomend her for your family!
