Lauren is such an awesome doula with a very kind soul. My first labor was rough and i didn’t have much of a voice so having someone like her by my side this time meant a lot. We actually met in person for the first time while I was already in labor, but she instantly felt easy to be around.

There were moments when I was deep in contractions and not really thinking about what questions to ask, and she gently reminded me to check in with myself and make sure I was comfortable with what the staff was doing. That support made a big difference.

My labor was long, and she stayed right there with me. She encouraged me, held me,helped me relax, used essential oils, and just kept the whole vibe peaceful. She made sure I had a voice and that my birth was how I hope it would be! I was even able to have my husband catch the baby! Afterward, she came for postpartum visits, held the baby so we could get things done, showed me helpful exercises, and answered every random question I had no matter the time. She can also make a very good guacamole!

I’m extremely thankful for everything she did for us and for giving me a voice in my most vulnerable moments.

My Surprise Blessing 

I had just turned 41,just had my second baby in two years, with a 13 year old at home. Two babies back to back, plus third C-section after two emergencies! Need I say more to express what a blessing it was to have Lauren's  there to rescue and support me and my family postpardum. Even as a more experienced mom, I cannot put to words  The gift it was to have Lauren's presence as I worked to heal, rest, and recover from such an intense period in my life. She was so intuitive and hands on while also being sensitive to my needs in case I didn't want that in the moment. She cooked, cleaned, played with our other children, held my precious newbie so I could shower, rest, she really truly did any and everything I could think of! She was incredible and it was a gift I can never repay. Every new mom should be as blessed as it was tremendous for my recovery and connection to baby. 

Lauren you are truly something special and we thank you endlessly. Much love to any new mmas under her care!

I worked with Lauren in the final weeks of my pregnancy and she was at the hospital with me overnight during the 2 nights I labored prior to my surprise c-section. In those few weeks she showed my husband and I genuine care in our well-being and helped us feel supported. During my labor, which was induced in the hospital (which I didn't plan for), Lauren's attitude and presence was so key in helping me to stay calm and centered throughout my hardest hours! She even brought me a birthing comb to use which I recall holding onto for pretty much the whole 30 hour stretch. She stayed by my side and allowed my husband to rest when he could, and shared the responsibility of supporting me through labor with our doula so seamlessly, which was so needed since my husband and I were stretched incredibly thin on lack of sleep. She advocated for me and held my hand while I thought I was in transition and getting some much needed rest. Her gentle voice and positive vibes were a real blessing in the hospital space, and I'm SO grateful that we got to spend time with her before the birth of our son! Thank you Lauren for being so amazing and calm in the face of birthing chaos :)
