When I got pregnant, a friend recommended that I hire a doula. I was initially hesitant, but as my due date drew closer, and as I began to experience more complications during my pregnancy, my husband and I felt it was worth exploring this as an option. After several unsuccessful attempts to find the “right” doula, we were about to throw in the towel, but then we met Danielle. She immediately made us both feel comfortable. She shared a ton of resources to help both me and my husband prepare for the big day, and I appreciated her being available whenever I had questions. When delivery day came, her presence and support were incredibly helpful: after birth in the hospital, I remember feeling confident and empowered that I could try to do it again at home. Above all else, Danielle supported us in a way that we did not expect when we originally reached out to her: my daughter was born premature and low birth weight, and Danielle was able to reach out to her community of mothers to help us secure private donor milk to give my girl the jump-start she needed. I am so thankful for everything Danielle did for our family, and if you have any hesitations about hiring a doula, I highly recommend you reach out and see if Danielle would be a good fit for you.

Danielle is not only amazing at what she does it all comes from her heart. From the moment you meet her you will know that birth is her passion! I hired Danielle to do maternity, birth and new born pictures as well as her doula services and I will do it all again if I have another kiddo. My birth did not go as I was anticipating and Danielle was there for me any time of day for all the emotions I was having and she was there being my biggest cheerleader while I was in the hospital while having my baby! Her turn around time for all pictures is insanely fast and each and every picture she captures tells a story in itself.
I promise you if you are looking for a photographer and or doula Danielle is someone you should reach out to her!

We've used Daniel for all our family photos this last year and she was also our doula. It was so amazing to have her be there for some of our most important life moments these last few months. I think she has captured the beauty of our family wonderfully. As a doula she was an integral part to making sure I could achieve all my labor goals. Whether you decide to reach out to her for photos or labor support you can expect to receive quality care in both.

WOW! Where to start. I hired Danielle to be my birth photographer and doula when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. She was absolutely incredible during my pregnancy and so so supportive. I loved our appointments together and felt she really knew what she was doing throughout this entire journey. She was always there for me when I needed it most. When I went into labor, she was unable to attend in person, but she was there for my partner and I virtually the WHOLE time. She had an amazing back up that she sent in to be with us while she couldn't be there, and I am so grateful for her professionalism during that moment. As soon as she was able to, she arrived at my birth and supported us throughout the postpartum period, and helped us adjust to life at home. Danielle is professional, kind, supportive, informative, a great listener, and SO many other qualities needed when looking for someone to be in this intimate space. I HIGHLY recommend her!

It’s hard to put into words the amazing experience having Danielle as a doula and birth photographer was. I will start off by saying how thoughtful and passionate she is about what she does. She continually goes above and beyond. Not only is she an extremely talented photographer, she is the best doula around. She made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout my whole pregnancy, going over every detail that I felt nervous about, and going over everything that I wanted out of this birth. When it came time to have my son she was there when I needed her and I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without her. She makes you feel like you can do anything! She is so encouraging and comforting and well educated in all things doula. She is an absolute necessity!

At the beginning of my pregnancy I was a little apprehensive about hiring a Doula, I believed that I had labored once on my own and therefor could do it with only my husband again. Once I met Danielle and talked with her about what a Doula truly was and would provide my whole view changed! She provided me with amazing support throughout all of my pregnancy, labor, and is still someone I can reach out to today, 8 weeks post partum, if I needed to talk! I had a 9 hour unmedicated labor and I know that if Danielle hadn't been on my birth team it probably would have turned out much differently. She provided so much knowledge about counter pressure, ideas for position changes, and encouragement from the time she showed up at my house to three hours after baby was born! I also hired her as my birth photographer and am completely INLOVE with my pictures!! She was so seemless at being both my Doula and my photographer that I didn't even know pictures were being taken so the birth space never felt interrupted. After this experience I would never go into a pregnancy without a Doula and if I have another baby I will definitely be reaching out to Danielle for her support again.

When I found out I was pregnant, I was both overjoyed and terrified. Having been raised by a single dad, I had no one to ask or guide me through the pregnancy and birth experience. That is when I learned about doulas, and decided I wanted to hire one. I then quickly learned a doula would most likely be out of my price range... and that's when Danielle came to my rescue. Danielle worked with me and my family's financial situation to grant us access to the wealth of skills and knowledge doulas possess, and for that (among other things) I am truly grateful. Danielle is nothing other than a powerful energy, a fierce advocate and a talented artist. She was there for me through tough life changes during pregnancy, throughout my 22 hour labor and birth, and has continued to be a presence for me postpartum! The beautiful images and footage she captured of the birth of my baby are so precious to us and I would hire her a million times over. This powerhouse of a woman assisted me in 8 hours of pushing without pain medications--she held me physically and emotionally, fanned me, encouraged me, and brought me a sports drink that after 22 hours without food, saved me. I truly feel that through her presence and support, Danielle gave me the priceless gift of an amazing birth experience and I would highly recommend her services to anyone!
