I honestly cannot say enough good things about Wis!!! Though she wasn’t physically in my delivery room, she played a big part in my birth. She provided so much information that was not only interesting but very useful. She helped me a lot when it came to advocating for myself as a high risk mom. I had a few situations where I felt uncomfortable about the circumstances around how my child was born but Wis prayed with me and provided valuable resources so that I could make informed decisions about my care. Choosing Wis to be your doula would never be a mistake. The love, the care, and dedication she puts into this is beyond a job. I’ve gotten to know and seen her on a personal level and the fact that she’s back in school so she can continue to learn how to support women and families through such a precious time attest to her passion and professionalism around birth work.

Choosing Wislene as my doula was hands-down the best decision I made for my birth journey. Being a FTM from the moment we started working together, she was so much more than just a birth professional; she was a mentor and teacher, providing me with the most vital information I have ever received regarding birth and postpartum care.
Throughout my labor and delivery— induction which didn't go exactly as I had originally planned—Wislene was my advocate and support pilar for myself and my husband. Having her there to help navigate those moments gave me a sense of peace I wouldn't have had otherwise. Beyond her expertise, she was a true prayer warrior. Since losing my mother, I was looking for a specific kind of support, and Wislene stepped in with a God-fearing kindness and wisdom that truly filled a void.
She instilled in me the confidence and reassurance I needed during my most vulnerable hours which I carried into my postpartum journey. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, deeply spiritual, and a fierce advocate for your needs, I cannot recommend Wislene highly enough. She is a gift to any birthing person.

Wislene is a professional, caring, and passionate about her work as a doula. She stands alongside us, postpartum, and evening during preganancy, by asking questions, teaching me how to affirm myself and stick up for myself in the process of giving birth and postpartum afterwards. Wislene is educated and dedicated to her role; no one is left behind when they're supported and cared by her. Wislene has helped me through so much, perinatal, postpartum, and even now, being 2 years postpartum. I highly recommend her, no doubt. She's a true gem in the doula and birthing community.

Wislène is the doula you want by your side! She’s been my rock from the moment I expressed my desire to conceive until the very end of my postpartum period. While some individuals choose to become doulas, Wislène was destined for this role! Her kindness, sincerity, down-to-earth nature, and most importantly, her unwavering faith, make her an exceptional doula. She’ll be there to pray you through every challenge and struggle you may face.

We loved working with Wislene, who provided overnight care for our twins from 8 to 14 weeks old. Our only wish is that we had started with her sooner. She took the time to get to know us, had a wonderfully calm and caring demeanor, and was incredibly knowledgeable about feeding and maternal health. She even consulted a colleague to help answer some of our twin-specific questions, which we really appreciated. She also helped with chores around the house while we slept, which made a huge difference. Most importantly, she took excellent care of our little ones. We would 100% work with her again if our family grows in the future.

Wislene was amazing with our son during their overnight post partum just after his birth.
Having this support and this trust during the first month of my son is rare. We totally trust her and she did amazingly and I will recommend her to anyone

Wiz was an incredible support during our early months with our baby. From the very first night, we felt completely at ease knowing our baby was in her care. She’s deeply knowledgeable about newborns and postpartum recovery, and clearly gifted with babies, and our baby trusted her right away.
Her communication was excellent, with clear updates and detailed logs every morning about the night.
What stood out most was her calm, steady presence and her nonjudgmental care during a time when I was still recovering and finding my footing as a new mom and us as new parents.
She checked in thoughtfully on both our baby’s progress and my own well-being, doctor appointments, mental well-being. We’re so grateful for her care and would recommend her wholeheartedly to any family : )

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Wis as our night doula for our newborn, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. From the very first night, she brought such a calming, genuine, and caring presence into our home. She not only took the best care of our baby boy during the nights, but also helped us as parents by teaching and guiding us in establishing healthy sleep habits that have made such a difference for our family. Her kindness, patience, and expertise made us feel completely at ease, knowing our little one was in the best hands. She went above and beyond in every way, and her support gave us back the rest and confidence we needed as new parents. We are so grateful for her and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a truly wonderful postpartum doula.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Wislene as our postpartum doula—she was truly a lifeline during one of the most vulnerable and transformative times of our lives. From the very beginning, she was professional, warm, and communicative, checking in with us regularly in the weeks leading up to our due date. She even came to our apartment for a pre-birth walkthrough to help us feel prepared and supported before the baby arrived.
Once we got home from the hospital, Wislene made the transition feel so much less overwhelming. She brought such a calm, grounding presence into our home and immediately put us at ease. She was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive with breastfeeding, sleep routines, and helping us understand what was normal and what to expect in those early days. She always made sure we felt heard, never judged, and completely cared for.
We cannot recommend Wislene highly enough to any expecting family looking for compassionate, expert postpartum support. She was a gift to our family and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Wislene is honestly a Godsend! I am so glad I had her support during this last pregnancy. Even though this was my third pregnancy I was so anxious about labor. With Wislene's support she educated me of my rights once at the hospital and gave me excercises i could do to prepare my body before and during inactive labor. I had always wanted to have a natural non-medicated birth and with Wislene coaching me through I was able to have that experience! This was my third child and labor this time around was not as painful or long and the recovery was so much better too! I don't believe I would have been able to do it without Wislene's help in real time guiding me with breathing techniques and coaching my husband on pressure points to support me to get through the labor pain.
Thank You again, Wislene!

Wislene was terrific as our post partum doula and had a calm supportive presence. She helped ease the transition home with warming soups, breast pumping support that really kept me going, organization of our supply closet, light housekeeping and of course baby care. She had some good proactive solutions to increase breast milk supply. Wislene has a gift with babies, and the baby was comfortable with her right away. She was also good with my older daughter who needed some one on one attention. I definitely recommend Wislene!
