Bethany was wonderful. She addressed all of my concerns, did research and brought us statistics from our hospital, and helped us prepare for labor/birth. She was attentive, caring, supportive, and incredibly helpful. She was always a text away. Thanks to her, I was ready and didn’t have any surprises. Even when things had to deviate from the plan, I knew what to expect. I had intended for a non-medicated birth with labor starting naturally. Instead I had an induction at 41+3 and (thankfully) all the pain medicine available to me. Bethany was on board with me 100%, kept me comfortable, cared for, and was super adaptable when we needed to change gears. She was directly supportive of both me and my husband, and helped so that my husband didn’t have to leave my side. She was also a sounding board to talk through decisions along the way and feel confident in them. I’m so glad she was there. We also had postpartum visits, and the days she was scheduled to come were 10000x easier. She would anticipate my needs (water, food, etc), share baby wisdom, and made it easier to recover and focus on my newborn. Bethany made me more confident at every step of the transition to motherhood. I plan to ask for her help again with all my future kids.
