I had the pleasure of having Za'Kiesha as my doula for my first pregnancy. Without Za'Kiesha and her expertise, I would not have had the natural birth that I have always envisioned. From letting me squeeze her hand to massaging my back with essential oils while going through back labor, Za’kiesha went above and beyond to make sure that my baby and I were safe and comfortable. I highly recommend requesting Za'Kiesha as your doula. Her commitment to this field as well as the pregnant person and baby she supports is outstanding.

Za'Kiesha is literally a gift sent from up above. Without her I don't know how I would have made it through the rest of my pregnancy journey. Through a new program the hospital started I was matched with Za'Kiesha at 37 weeks. I delivered at 38 weeks and 5 days. In that week I learned so much information from Za'Kiesha that I never knew before. She is very informative and direct. I love that she was direct with me because I am very stubborn and like to do things my way. Za'Kiesha told me things I needed to hear and didn't sugar coat anythnig. For example: I was planning on returning to work after 2 weeks. Za'Kiesha let me know the benefits and risk factors of why I need to heal the whole 6-8 weeks. When I had my son 14 years ago I was up and about the next day and never knew the importance of healing for 6-8 weeks. She answered every call and text no matter what time it was. It was like she never slept. Now to get to the delivery part. I promise I don't know how I would have made it through without Za'Kiesha by my side. She helped easy the pain when contracting and walked me through every breath. Her voice is so calming and she endures all the pain when squeezing her hand. She even encouraged squeezing harder if need be. While pushing I literally forgot how to breathe and Za'Kiesha coached me through it. I was holding my breath the whole time and she had to remind me to breathe. I was a hot mess during delivery but Za'Kiesha made everything better. I am so honored and grateful that I met her and that my daughter is one of her babies she helped delivered. I will always and forever remember how Za'Kiesha got me through the rest of my pregnacy journey and can't wait until my daughter is old enough to tell her the story. Having Za'Kiesha has your doula is honestly a blessing and you will cherish every moment of the experience with her.

Zakeisha was extremely professional! I used her for my last two pregnancies. She went above and beyond what I expected. I consider her a part of the family now, as we still keep in touch! I couldn't have asked for a better, and more knowledgeable doula.

Za'Kiesha is one of the best. I never heard of a doula before her and I am very pleased to have had one and will continue to work with her again if I fall pregnant. She was there through out the pregnancy. Consolation check ups genuine care. She also helped when my son had to have surgery. She is very proud of what she does and I will love to continue to work with her. I will love to say thank you to her.

An amazing Doula with great resources. She helped make my home birth successful and peaceful. She's always available and present. She has many skills/knowledge  including Placenta Encapsulation, Breastfeeding education and so much more. I will be using her again for future births.

 ZaKeisha was a great fit for our family! She came in to assist me when my son was about 1 month old. The goal was for her to assist me in transitioning back to work and school with a newborn and she did just that. On her very first visit she was able to identify possible feeding issues and advised me to contact our doctor. A specialist later confirmed that Zakeisha's thoughts were correct and we were able to make informed decisions on how to address the issue. She also helped me with lactation tools that allowed me to give my son breast milk much longer than I initially thought I would be able to. She provided resources and information that I may not have found on my own. My only regret was not fully understanding the role of a doula and finding Zakeisha during my pregnancy. I highly recommend Zakeisha and often educate other moms on how helpful a doula can be.
