Prior to Mackenzie being my doula, I had known her for 8 years. Mackenzie is kind, reliable, and so passionate about the birthing process. It was clear that I wanted her to guide me through this process! While having Mackenzie as my doula, we met over the phone a few time, had in person consultations and guidence, and sent many texts back and forth. Mackenzie helped my husband and I build a birth plan around the vision we had. She helped me prepare for birth and gave us questions and standard procedures to talk about and decide beforehand. 

The most important thing to me was to have a voice advocating for me during labor. Mackenzie made sure she knew exactly what my plans were before we reached the end of my pregnacy, and when I went into labor, she was ready to be exactly that! When I wasn't comfortable with something or the nursing staff suggested something outside of my plan, Mackenzie stepped up to take make my wishes known. Even after birth, Mackenzie helped with breastfeeding, postpartum, and any baby questions I had!

My labor was hard, but it would have been much harder without my doula present. My husband and I have stated so many times that we would have been lost without her. I cannot recommend Mackenzie enough and would use her 100 times over!

Mackenzie helped my husband and I immensely through our delivery. She always knew how to keep me calm and knew how to motivate me when I needed it most. We felt more confident with her by our side and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful and knowledgable person to help us through the process!
