Lauren was the insurance policy we hoped we wouldn't need but were so incredibly grateful we had. After our planned home birth for our first child failed to progress, we transferred to the hospital. The labor was 30+ hours and there is no way we could have endured without Lauren.

Lauren was everything you need from a doula. Lauren advocated for us and helped me advocate for my wife as she labored through a very long day and long overnight. Advocating for small changes made a huge difference in my wife's comfort like being able to change to better positions, eliminating unnecessary IVs and sensors, and opting out of excessive "standard procedures" that the hospital would default to.

Lauren was there when we needed her most both during delivery and postpartum. She is an expert in her field, provided us with a lot of valuable education and advice, and stood behind every decision we made without judgement. We can't thank her enough and cannot recommend her more highly. If you are going to have a baby, I would strongly suggest hiring a doula if you can and let Lauren be your first choice.

I don’t even know where to begin. It’s hard to voice how amazing Lauren is as a doula. I found her after she was recommended by another doula. I had a high risk pregnancy and Lauren was beyond supportive from the second she agreed to be my doula. She checked on me frequently after OB & MFM appointments making sure I was understanding my care along with being able to vent about the stress. Even when I was in massive pain from pregnancy she came to my house & helped me with movement (she’s a prenatal yoga instructor too!) and even individually recorded a sleep meditation for me. When it came to my VERY long induction she spent most of her time by my side (just getting rest when she needed). Lauren was a key piece to helping my birth remain beautiful even through the pain as she helped with comfort measures (and encouragement when I doubted myself) & she even spoke up for me when a nurse ignored me saying no. I have a history of trauma & was afraid of birth but Lauren helped make it the best day of my life.

I dont think it is even possible to explain the love that Lauren has for her job but I will try. She was allways available and ready with a loving ear at all times of the day. I started with her very early in my pregnancy and am sooo happy that i did. Any concerns or questions I had she answered them always with evidence based answers. I feel so blessed to have been able to share that whole journey with her. I love her and she will always be near and dear to my ?? hear. HIRE HER??‍??

If you’re ever considering a doula I highly recommend Lauren! I didn’t even know what a doula was or how’d it’d be beneficial to me. I’m so happy I chose to have her assistance throughout my pregnancy. It was a safety net I honestly didn’t know I needed. Having not the greatest income, I didn’t have access to my OBGYN when I had emergency questions because when you call the health department it goes straight to voicemail. Having her help would always ease my mind if I’m stress googling something I may think is wrong or worrisome. Not only that, this is my second baby. I never felt more in control and empowered making my own medical decisions before and that’s definitely all thanks to her. I do know if I choose to have more children in the future I will be using her services again! Thank you for an unforgettable birth journey!! Even though some things didn’t go as planned for my son’s birth was certainly more memorable than the last. ♥?

Lauren was the support I didn't know I needed so bad. She is knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. She is always available and responsive when I need her. I texted and called many times complaining of pain, or emotional complaints and she always offered practical and tangible ways to feel better and connect better with your body.  She offered support I didn't know I even needed until I needed it. She is intuitive and knows when you need help without pushing you. She is comfy, easy to talk to and understanding. Lauren is a great addition to the birth team. She will make sure you have the birth you want and will help provide tools to make you knowledgeable and prepared. She came to my house so I didn't even have to go anywhere. She practiced positions to alleviate pain and for birthing and made me feel more confident going into my birth. She continued her support post partum and offered me natural family planning tools as well. She was also supportive to my partner and made herself available to both of us as needed. She took my insurance when many Doulas wouldn't. If you are doubting to get a doula or not, get Lauren and you won't be disappointed!!!
