Hiring a Doula was nerve racking because it's a huge investment into one of the most important days of your life, and to rely on a complete stranger to be there for you, is difficult! We truly felt our investment into Nicole was so worth it. She never felt like a stranger and always felt like a friend. The birth of our son was a magical day because of Nicole’s help. Her calming, nurturing presence eased our fears, empowered us and made us feel supported. From the moment we spoke to her on the phone during the initial interview she was whole heartedly invested in us. She was always available to ask for advice and when the time came she didn't hestitate and was there immediately.  Nicole truly has a passion for helping families, including both the moms and dads. We’ve made a friend and again so thankful for her help.

Nicole is amazing and went above and beyond to help me through induction and help me have my 3rd VBA2C! She even took pictures for me and was was amazing throughout the whole process! I'm looking forward to her being my doula again if I am blessed to have another baby! Thank you so much, Nicole. You're the best!!

It's hard to put into words what Nicole was for us during the birth of our first child. I found Nicole on DoulaMatch.net and I knew after our first phone conversation she was someone I could trust. I wanted a Doula to be at my birth for many reasons but one was to help calm any fears I had of the unknown and help answer questions that I would have in the moment. She went over and beyond. She was a calm presence and was exactly who I wanted to be a part of this and more. She supported both myself and my husband during labor and delivery. She helped us make decisions in the moment and talk through our options when we needed a sounding board. Nicole helped us feel safe and equipped to make our own decisions while in the hospital. She was very knowledable and had lots of experience with hospital births... this helped me know what to expect. 

I loved that Nicole was available to me two weeks before my due date and two weeks after. My baby came two weeks past my due date and nicole was available to answer all my questions via text or phone call. She was an answered prayer and a joy to get to know. I can not imagine my birth without her being there. She prayed with and for me and that meant the world. 

If you are on the fence about a doula, Nicole is such a warm, calming and safe presence that I would highly recommend her for yourself and your husband!

Nicole was amazing. She was there through my entire labor and didn't leave my side and anytime I had to make a decision while in labor she was there to educate me. She also took some pictures & videos while i was in labor and right after, & I'm so grateful she did.

As a first time dad, I wanted to be able to support my wife every step of the way through the process of giving birth to our daughter. I felt like I was able to do just that to the best of my ability, but I completely lacked in the practical knowledge and experience of what it is like to go through labor and birth a child and support her in doing that! (obviously...) When my wife suggested finding a Doula, I was up for it because we knew we would benefit from the help. God is Sovereign over all! He led us to Nicole! Nicole was such a pleasure to meet, get to know, and to have as our help for the birth of our daughter! She is such a kind and gentle person and such a wise Doula with lots of experience. She is also a Christian who obviously loves Jesus, which is seen in how she interacts with people and the joy she has! As Christians ourselves, we knew that having Nicole by our side was all a part of God's plan for the birth of our child! She deeply respected what we (mainly my wife) set up as the birth plan and did everything that she could to help ensure that the plan was played out. The wisdom, advice, tips, and more that Nicole shared with my wife to help were very helpful as I saw it all played out throughout the birth of our daughter. Even when things didn't go as planned, she was still just as supportive to ensure that our child entered the world in a way in which my wife and our baby were safe. Even more than that, I could tell she truly cared about me and my family. We wouldn't have wanted anyone else with us and will definitely have her around for the birth of our future kiddos! We consider her a part of our family after going through the birth of our daughter with us!

Me and my wife were very nervous about her first pregnancy and found Nicole last minute who was very kind to us, educated us, and through and through wwe just an awesome Doula from start to finish. I think she was a key component for us not needing a whole lot of medical intervention during pregnancy! Call Nicole if you need a Doula, she's great :D

My husband and I contacted Nicole at 39 weeks. We finally decided that we desperately needed her help since we are first time parents! Nicole was very understanding, supportive, and very knowledgeable of all things labor and delivery. She helped me advocate for the perfect birth and honestly it was a 10/10 labor and delivery experience, largely due to Nicole's caring support and knowledge. We can't wait for baby #2 so we can hire her again!

Nicole was amazing! We decided to work with her early on in our pregnancy and I am so glad we did. As a first time mama, she was there to answer my frantic questions with patience, kindness, and a caring attitude. She always made me feel so safe and listened to. When we found out I was going to need a c-section, I called Nicole in tears. She quickly calmed my fears, and made my husband and myself more at ease. Even though she was unable to be in the operating room with us, she made baby day so much better. She was able to join us in pre-op and helped keeping me calm and ready for the day. She was in our recovery room as soon as she could be and was able to live on me and our son. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I am SO glad we decided to work with her so early on. I couldn't have done it without her constant support!!

Nicole was beyond what I could have ever imagined as my doula! She not only was sensitive to my needs, but my family's needs. She was quick to provide care and comfort in times of uncertainty AND joy. In transitions, she knew exactly what to do and acted on it without hesition.

I cherish my experience with Nicole and will forever share it with others in hopes they would also choose to have a doula too, especially with Nicole!!

My journey with Nicole well that is exactly what it is I really couldn't have done it without Nicole she supported me and explained everything better when I had to be induced with my daughter because my water ruptured we spent a lot of days in hospital waiting for inducting and when it finally happened I wasn't ready I screamed and Nicole really helped me get through gave me things to make it way more comfortable and help with the pain. I went naturally no epidural and Nicole was right there through it and was amazing support and help . I would highly recommend her .

My husband and I had a home water birth. It was such a powerful, peaceful experience. My midwife told me, after our daughter's birth, that I had one of the most incredible birth teams she'd seen.

This was our first, and Nicole was so supportive and helpful not only during labor, but especially during my pregnancy as well. She was so knowledgable and helpful in giving advice and sharing resources any time I had questions or was trying to make decisions. I loved that she always respected and supported our wishes and decisions. I was confident that she understood our "birth plan", supported my desire for a natural, unmedicated birth free of any interventions, and would be an advocate for that, however things ended up going. This gave me such a feeling of complete safety and trust with her. Her support during pregnancy helped to prepare both my husband and I so much. By the end of my pregnancy, I felt so much more confident, informed about and excited for labor. And I believe all of this played such a huge part in how our labor ended up going. I went into it informed, empowered and without fear.

During labor, Nicole was there for my husband just as much as she was for me. She helped him help and support me. I had back labor the whole time, and Nicole showed him how to apply counter pressure and hip squeeze. This made a world of difference coping through every single contraction. She took over anytime he needed a break and gave suggestions without ever being overbearing. 

Our baby girl came as planned, in the birthing pool in our living room. We had such a beautiful, positive experience, and I can't imagine having done any of it without Nicole by our side! I really think I would have a very different birth story to tell if we hadn't had her as our doula.We're five weeks postpartum and she is still providing the same amazing care. I can't fully put into words the value of having Nicole as your doula.
