I had the privilege of having Knetta as my birth doula, and I can't say enough positive things about her. She's incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and easy-going, which made a world of difference for me as a first-time mom. Her presence helped ease my anxiety as I approached labor.

What I appreciated most about Knetta was her openness to explore my birth preferences. She encouraged me to advocate for myself throughout the entire process, empowering me to make informed decisions. With Knetta by my side, along with the support of my family and hospital staff, I felt truly supported.

I would wholeheartedly give Knetta a 5/5 star rating and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a birth doula. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication to her clients make her an invaluable asset during the incredible journey of childbirth.

Knetta was wonderful!  She was the calming, experienced presence that my husband and I needed through the labor and delivery of our first child.  With her help, I had a relatively short labor with no epidural and a healthy baby!  The prenatal visits helped me think through what my birth preferences would be, and what to be aware of during labor.  I would highly recommend her services as a doula to anyone who is having a baby soon, especially to first-time parents!

My husband and I worked with Knetta for the birth of our first child. She was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the birthing process, such a calm presence and overall a great resource! She was able to ensure that my anxieties were managed and slow conversations down so that I could have all of the facts and options from my medical team. I highly recommend!

If you're looking for a birthing partner who'll be by your side, offer reassurance, understanding and guidance wrapped into a nurting, professional warm bow, Knetta is the doula for you. As a young mom, I couldn't imagine not having Knetta support as I went through the ups and downs of pregnancy. From our first consultation, we thankfully clicked and I knew she was the one for us. I know Knetta will be there for any and all of her clients, even after you've completed your pregnancy journey, and that's what sets her apart from most.

Knetta was a great source of information, stability and emotional support during my pregnancy. From our very first meeting, she asked questions that, though were hard, needed to be asked. I got pregnant newly in my marriage and was unfortunately separated at the time when I decided to get a doula. I probably reached out to about two other doulas before I met Knetta. She was kind, thorough and very informative. I would call her after my doctor's appointments, upset and she was always available to answer any questions and offer kind words to help combat whatever feelings I was having. I ended up making the decision to relocate halfway through my pregnancy and not only did Knetta continue to support me mentally and emotionally after I relocated, she helped me find a new doula in the area that I was moving to. After I had my baby, I was still able to reach out to her and I didn't feel uncomfortable reaching out to her about any questions that I had after I had to have an emergency C-section. I love Knetta and she's seriously considered a part of not only my support team, but my family now that I have been through my first pregnancy. I would definitely recommend her services to any woman needing a doula or any support professional during their pregnancy.

Because our three-year journey to conceive was hard fought, I wanted to ensure that my birth experience was as peaceul as possible. To me that meant having the right people in the room. Knetta proved to be the right person. From our initial consultation she was patient and forthright and appeared to have all the time in the world to answer our new-parent-to-be questions and concerns. During delivery, she created an ambiance (words of affirmation, lighting, and diffusers) that even the Labor & Delivery staff found warm and welcoming. When my contractions began to be stronger, she provided back rubs that eased my discomort. When I opted for a c-section, she was supportive in my change of birth plan and offered us encouragement before we went into surgery. Postpartum, she was there to help with light housework, which was a huge help to me as I was not very mobile while recovering from c-section and my husband was severely sleep deprived while taking care of a recovering wife and newborn. Most importantly (as someone whose family is hundreds of miles away), I valued having a Black woman in the room who was a constant force of positivity and light. Knetta was one of the best investments in my birth plan.

Each month leading up to our delivery, she educated and provided me with resources to put my mind at ease. Douwella also equipped me with tools and resources which helped me feel empowered to have direct conversations with my doctor to ensure that the health of myself and baby were top priority on delivery day. Because of Douwella's support, my delivery experience was everything I had hoped for and we safely welcomed our son earth side. Thank you Douwella!

For the short time that I got to meet her during my pregnancy and my delivery, she has been so supportive in all the areas that I needed. Even during my postpartum recovery she was there to answer all my questions and concerns and also inform me of all the resources that was available to me. I will forever be great full for what she did and the time we spent together. If should I become pregnant again and in need of a doula, I would definitely choose her. ??

Knetta was such a supportive and calming presence. We went on walks regularly and discussed my birth plan and who I can lean on for a support system. My birth ended up being complicated and long, and Knetta's presence and preparation made me feel so supported and made the situation a positive experience for me. She came by for a postpartum visit as well to check on my recovery and offer support for my recovery from birth. I definitely recommend Knetta as your doula. She is such a wonderful and supportive presence to have around!

I came across Knetta’s website at a time when I really needed her the most. At 22.5 weeks I started having contractions and needed to be hospitalized to undergo the Cerclage surgical procedure. I was told I would need to be on bedrest for most of the remainder of my pregnancy and at the time was estranged from my Mother and sons father. I was terrified to go into labor and delivery alone and heard about doula services from a few other mom friends. Our initial over the phone consultation made me feel so comfortable and even with my limited finances she was willing to take me on as a client which I more than greatly appreciated. I love how often she kept in touch with me and how accommodating she was when it came to meeting up in person and scheduling phonecalls/Facetimes . She was constantly asking questions and truly got to know me as a person and what I wanted for a birth plan and i was able to fully trust her knowledge and wisdom. She offered plenty of tips and helped me find plenty of stretches, and other methods to help prepare for labor. When the day came she provided affirmation cards and the best essential oils and massages and Im happy to say my 7lb 6oz baby boy and I are were so happy to have her be apart of such a special life changing experience. Knetta is patient, kind, caring and on top of her game at all times and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is expecting!! I consider her family at this point the bond we created during this time will stick with us for a lifetime??
