A degree in Human Development with a concentration in Family Studies from the University of Alabama. The Family Studies concentration allowed me to become a Certified Family Life Educator which is the practice of equipping and empowering family members to develop knowledge and skills that enhance well-being and strengthen interpersonal relationships through an educational, preventive, and strengths-based approach. Completed coursework towards a Master of Jurisprudence degree in Children’s Law and Policy with Loyola University Chicago School of Law which helps nonlegal professionals better serve children and families.
