I would have been lost without Corby and I will never be able to fully express my gratitude for what she did during my birth. From the moment I reached out to her, everything was so easy (website, information, billing, communication were all seamless). We had a great planning meeting before the birth and she dug deep into my previous birth and what I needed most to make this one as great as possible. She was an amazing listener and just a ball of positivity and kindness! Over the final weeks of my pregnancy, she checked in and was a wonderful source of information and positivity. I felt really prepared for that 2nd birth and knew that Corby would be there to support me exactly in the way I needed. 

Well, we never could have anticipated what actually happened. I woke up at midnight with contractions and knew that labor was starting. My first birth was 36 hours, so I was pretty calm. But it was soon clear that this was different as the contractions BEGAN at 2 minutes apart soon there was barely any space between them. My husband called Corby and by some miracle she was at our home in just 15 minutes. Thank God for that because she arrived to me literally giving birth in our hallway! Corby ended up DELIVERING MY BABY by herself in an unplanned spontaneous home birth. And she was the calmest person I've ever seen while doing it. We were in a complete panic and there was Corby just cool as a cucumber, gently delivering my baby and reassuring me that everything is totally fine and somehow also rubbing my back and telling me that I'm a rockstar. Afterwards she worked with the paramedics when they arrived and followed us to the hospital and was availabile for whatever we might need afterwards. 

Today, she's literally listed on my daughter's birth certificate as the attending physician and I love that because it's a permanent memorial to this literal angel who arrived just in time to save us!  Hire her, you won't regret it.

I am so grateful that I had Corby as my doula for my birth experience. She provided support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Although my birth did not go exactly as I had planned, Corby supported me in making informed decisions in the moment. The most valuable time for me was right after my baby was born and my husband went to be with the baby. If Corby hadn’t been there to support me, I’m sure I would have felt so alone. She supported me in the early days of breastfeeding and 2 months later we are still going strong exclusively breastfeeding! Thank you Corby!

I'm so thankful for Corby! We decided pretty last minute to hire a doula and Corby made it a perfectly easy decision by being so accommodating and flexible with our schedule and so easy to work with. She has a calm presence, offering useful advice and acknowledgements, without being over-bearing or overwhelming. She helped my husband and I determine our ideal birth plan and supported my desire to have an unmedicated birth. She offered plenty of encouragement and confidence in me and my ability to accomplish this goal, while also helping me understand what to expect. On the day of my son's birth, she was responsive and helped guide me as my water broke and it was time to go to the hospital. She met us there and helped with breathing and calming techniques and stayed with us through the entire birth and for a few hours after. Thanks to her help, and my husband's I was able to successfully have the unmedicated birth I truly wanted. This helped empower me while also making me feel so incredibly connected to my baby and also helped my healing progress quicker. I feel so blessed! The nurses commented how helpful and sweet our doula was. She helped me with breastfeeding and latch tips in those moments following the birth which I believe helped establish a healthy feeding routine for my baby (we exclusively breast feed). In our follow up postpartum visit, it felt like a loving therapy session for my husband and I to process the amazing feelings surrounding the birth and both share our feelings and emotions and love for everything that happened. I feel so blessed! Thank you!!
