Jennifer was absolutely WONDERFUL and we could not recommend her more to you, your family, and your newborn!

From the first time we zoomed with her she showed compassion, knowledge, and a down-to-earth, relatable composure that made us feel immediately at-ease with her.  She kept in touch with us before our baby arrived to check in, which was unncessary but so very appreciated, and genuinely was excited for us when baby did arrive!

As a doula, she did everything requested of her and then some, making those first few nights home with baby so much more tolerable for us and allowing us some much-needed sleep and assistance!

After each night she sent us a log of every feeding, sleep session, poop/pee, and how baby did throughout the night - this was integral to our feeling comfortable with someone watching our brand-new baby!

She suggested new approaches to us, shared her vast knowledge of evidence-based practices (without being pushy), and just genuinely made us feel so much better about being first-time parents that first week.

We could not recommend her more highly and you will be so thankful that you hire her!

Jen was amazing with my newborn! I had a lot of anxiety about hiring a postpartum doula being a first time mom. I worried about…everything. But, Jen immediately put my husband and I at ease and being able to sleep a few nights after coming home was great. Jen took great care of my baby, helped with cleaning bottles, held me accountable when it came to overnight pumping, and helped with the baby’s laundry. She was also an excellent resource when it came to things like how to bottle feed by baby. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again.

Jen led my husband and I though a six week birth education class. As a first time mom, I was very anxious about labor & delivery. Specifically, feeling comfortable advocating for myself and my baby, feeling vulnerable, and finding a balance between a joyous, natural experience and potential medical interventions if required. Jen was above and beyond my expectations and guided me into an emotional place where I felt confident, eager, and powerful rather than scared about what was to come. The practical knowledge she provided in combination with the encouragement to prioritize myself and find mindfulness through my pregnancy brought me incredible clarity and calm. I keep saying I am one of those people who loved being pregnant and I think a big piece of that was working with Jen. While the actual labor and delivery did not go according to my "birth plan", when I was confronted by my team with the need for medical interventions I was able to fully surrender and feel my baby and I were safe. The first thing I did after hearing we needed to shift plans was reach out to Jen and she set me up for a healthy experience. She was a true guardian angel to us both, her advice fully impacted a safe outcome for the situation. Consulting Jen about what to do in that moment will forever be something I am fully grateful for. My baby was in my arms in no time and while I did have to spend a little time processing the unexpected nature of her delivery, I did so with grace and patience for us.  I am incredibly proud of the work I put in to feel like a confident mom before my baby was born and felt it carry into the first days of motherhood and even still as I breastfeed her and soak in every loving moment. While being prepared for the ins and outs of labor and delivery was helpful, the emotional security that came from working with Jen was invaluable and I will cherish the experience forever.

I'll start with this…I wish I had used Jen as a doula for my first child's birth. Unfortunately I can’t go back but I am SO glad that we had Jen as a doula for the birth of our second child. Her guidance, education and services were truly invaluable. Jen's EBB class that my husband and I took, helped both of us to feel empowered, knowledgeable and much more prepared for the birth of our daughter. Jen was a wonderful sounding board throughout pregnancy and especially for me, helped to talk through any issues or anxieties that I was running into. When it came time for the birthing experience I felt so great knowing that Jen was going to be there with us - her birthing knowledge of positions, strategies, procedures, and medical understanding in the process made me feel more at ease. Throughout the birthing process Jen was cool, calm and collected which helped to bring me peace. Her gentle guidance, massage, and assistance were all so great to have! I would absolutely recommend Jen as a doula to any and everyone! She will help to make your birthing experience one to remember in the positive direction and give you tons of support and care during it.

I can't say enough things about how special working with Jen was for our birth. Jen immediately fit right in with us and we felt so comfortable having her by our side - and so much more sure about our decisions. Jen kept our hospital room calm and peaceful, eliminating beeping and noises and keeping voices to a whisper. It created a really sacred space. When we had to make decisions, Jen presented evidence-based information and pros/cons without pressuring or pushing us in a direction. When things took a difficult turn during our birth, Jen provided the comfort we needed. I'd recommend hiring a doula, specifically Jen, a million times over. You'll never regret having her on your side!

Jennifer was very helpful in the first few weeks after I gave birth. She helped us give our son his first bath, offered suggestions for bottle feeding and breastfeeding issues, and was great at snuggling our baby while I needed a few minutes. I felt very comfortable with her taking care of our son. She was always on time and willing to do whatever tasks we needed. I highly recommend her as a post-partum doula as it can feel like there's an overwhelming amount of things to do with your first baby and since we didn't have family nearby, it was amazing to get her calm support while we were super sleep deprived.

We used Jen as a postpartum doula while my husband went back to work and our son was only 2 weeks old. As a first time parent it was very overwhelming and Jen was such an amazing help. She would hold and cuddle him so I could get a nap in or do chores I needed to get done. Every day she would ask what my goals were and would make sure we accomplished them! (Usually just getting some sleep!). One day I had a clogged duct and was in terrible pain and she walked me through how to get rid of it and watched the baby so I could rest. She is someone I trusted immediately with him and would recommend her/ use her again for our next in a heartbeat!

Working with Jen as our postpartum doula was one of the best decisions we've ever made.  With a three year old and newborn baby, and not much support from outside of our household, Jen made a world of difference in my mental and physical health during the postpartum period.  She provided support with the new baby, spent time with our older child when needed, and helped to make sure the house stayed tidy, meals were prepared and my water cup was full!  I would highly recommend her and wish that every new mom could have the support of someone like Jen.

Jen worked with my family several times when our postpartum doula was unavailable. She was great with my baby, who has GERD, and can get pretty fussy. She helped around the house and just overall was easy to talk with and a big help. We appreciated her time with us and I would recommend her wholeheartedly!

Jennifer's postpartum services were a godsend! From her very first visit, Jen was incredibly helpful, taking the baby and instructing his very tired mama to sleep in the guest room when I barely knew what it was I needed. She goes above and beyond during each visit, cleaning the kitchen, doing dishes, and generally doing things that will inevitably make life a little smoother without any prompting. I truly wish we had called her sooner! She is a delightful person, and I strongly recommend her services to anyone looking to add to their postpartum "village." She was also very COVID-cautious, which I appreciated.

Jen came to work for me as a nanny just weeks after I had my second baby, a girl, and my son was just 2. We connected immediately over the phone and arranged a time to meet the kids. In person Jen exceeded all of my expectations for what I was looking for in a caretaker for my newborn and 2 year old.

Jen was loving, nurturing and fun while also firm in setting boundaries with the kids. She was invaluable with juggling my new life with two little ones, 2 and under. She intuitively jumped right in helping with housework (she loves organizing!) and tasks like laundry, and also occupying my 2 year old while I was figuring out a challenging breastfeeding situation with my newborn. Jen was also amazing with newborn care. She helped with naps, baths, diapers and swaddling and also setting up a regular daily routine for my baby. Jen was so patient and supportive when adjusting my newborn to bottle feeding when I transitioned back to work. Her support made it possible for me to come up for air and take a breath when I was feeling very overwhelmed and alone and was dealing with significant postpartum anxiety.

Tricky questions never stumped her- she was thoughtful and deliberate and supported my needs as a new mom. Jen has a natural way with explaining things to kids and adults in a way that is factual and digestible. She is always accepting, inclusive, flexible and approachable.

I was so lucky to have had Jen in my postpartum life and I would highly recommend her services and support to any expecting/new mom.

We recently had twins and Jennifer stayed with us for a week. After juggling the boys, cleaning bottles, changing diapers , breastfeeding and trying to find a bit of sleep here and there Jennifer’s presence was a breath of fresh air. Bringing home two premies as first time parents was terrifying, her experience and knowledge was so helpful for those first days and all the questions we had.
