Abbey is such a kind, compassionate, and warm person who is just wonderful to be around during such a life changing event. Abbey provided addition postpartum suppport when my primary doula wasn't available and I'm so glad that she had Abbey as her backup (I was booked between births and my daughter came early).

She is very knowledgeable, generous, witty, and has such a calming energy about her. She really complemented my borderline type A personality and kept me grounded. She is so responsive and was quick to help keep me nourished, share tricks on cloth diapering, cared for my baby so I could sneak and hour here and there just to talk to my husband about the day, and really just helped keep me feeling a bit like myself during this huge shift in my identity and transition to motherhood. She was even so gracious enough to help get my mom gain confidence in some baby caring skills since it's been 10 years since her last grandchild. 

Her desire to be a part of your transition to motherhood, her generousity, patience, and her depth of experience as a nanny make it so easy to trust her wholeheartedly with my health/recovery and that of my newborn child. 

Abbey is a wonderful mix of a true professional and someone I wanted to turn into my friend. I can't say enough about her and highly recommended her.

Abbey became my post-partum doula because my husband went back to work the day after my daughter was born. I liked that Abbey had a background as a nanny and also knew how to engage with my 3 year old son. I am so thankful that Abbey was around to support me and my family. She was so intuitive and gave gentle nudges towards self-care action items when I was too consumed with post-partum brain fog. I was very overwhelmed when I became a mother of two, and Abbey helped my anxiety by streamling simple tasks. Her presence is very calming, sweet and non-judgemental. I recommend her in a heartbeat!

Abbey was an incredible presence after the birth of our 2nd baby. She not only helped me and our newborn daughter but also helped my toddler adjust to our new addition. Whether it was helping us all get some fresh air or sharing conversation over tea, Abbey mentally, physically and emotionally supported us in so many ways as our postpartum doula and for this, I will be forever grateful.
