Type of practice: Solo practice

Clients per month: 1 to 2 births and 1 to 4 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: No indoor smoking. I am a pet-friendly doula who will work with any client on short notice, if my schedule allows. My postpartum calendar has most slots full about 5 months in advance. If you think you want a postpartum doula, reach out as soon as possible for the best hours. If you are a new mom with immediate need, I can usually accommodate a flexible request.

Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
I have worked in several hospitals and am happy to provide my certificates to the L&D department if requested by you, your provider or the hospital.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
Absolutely!

Attends home births? Some Home Births
Love to support home birth. Must be under the care of a midwife, sorry no free birth support.

Relevant volunteer or advocacy work

I have worked with children and families in the education sector, voluntarily at the recreational level, as a volunteer for Girl Scouts, cheerleading, football programs, lacrosse programs, CCD classes, and religious organizations. Many of my clients have easily used their Carrot benefits with my Carrot approved invoice and receipt format. I will provide my certificate and NPI number for your use submission to FSA for reimbursement of my costs.

Fee Details

I accept nearly all forms of payment always provide a receipt with detailed description for potential FSA Reimbursement. My previous clients have used Maven, Carrot and UHC with successful reimbursement. Because I charge a fair fee for my clients, I have the option to support women who cannot afford a doula at my own expense and discretion.
