Rebecca literally has been a Godsend during this transition into motherhood. As a Black woman, I knew the statistics but refused to go into my birthing experience with fear. With Rebecca's teachings, support, and affirming spirit I was ready to push through my lengthy labor and birthed my child with peace despite the natural rough moments. Her level of care was immense and I am so thankful for her place within my birthing circle. If you are contemplating getting a doula look no further than Rebecca Elle especially if you are a melaninated birther.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Rebecca. She is very knowledgeable about the entire birthing process & was supportive with all decisions my husband and I made for our birth plan. We appreciated the gentle, informative way she led her home visits.

When the big day arrived, Rebecca presented as reassuring, gentle, & calming while also being affirming and a knowledgeable leader. She made sure that I had everything I needed in the moment: water & food to stay fueled, rest when my body needed it, and a variety of exercises to keep labor progressing. She was such an important part of my birth team & worked well with everyone. I couldn’t imagine having my first baby without her presence.

Rebecca has a passion for the work that she does, & I am honored to have shared energy, time, and space with her during my sacred transition into motherhood and my child’s journey earthbound. Give thanks.

I had the pleasure of having Rebecca Lesperance as my doula for the birth of my son born on 3-17-21, she is an amazing advocater who made my first time experience giving birth as comfortable and educational as possible during a scary time where first time black mothers were dying due to the lack of care and support from medical staff while giving birth, she is what I would call a God sent, her level of compassion is top tier and she will do anything and everything from holding your hand to your thighs during your birthing experience, I would recommend her a million times over to any new mom or a experienced mom searching for doula support

Choosing Rebecca as my doula was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. As soon as I met her I felt a connection and I was glad to work with her. She provided me with so much information about childbirth and prepared me for what to expect during my labor and delivery. The information she provided me with increased my confidence about giving birth and what to expect. She was also by my side every step of the way during my labor and delivery assisting me with pain management. This was my first pregnancy and therefore my first experience with a doula, and I couldn’t ask for anyone better. I’m so thankful for having her there with me and can’t imagine how my birth would have went if I didn’t have Rebecca!
