Choosing Dominque as our doula has made a tremendous difference in our experience as first-time parents.

I initially looked into hiring a doula to help during the birth process because I was really nervous about it. Having Dominique there for the birth was extremely helpful, but the experience was so much more than just the birth! During my pregnancy, she gave us so much useful information that we would not have found on our own. She patiently answered all of our questions and provided evidence-based support for her answers. I felt empowered and reassured by this knowledge, and I entered the hospital feeling much more calm and confident than I had expected to be.

At the birth, Dominique was a steadying presence, a constant companion, and a powerful advocate. She reminded me throughout the process to breathe, relax, and hydrate. She helped me into different positions and encouraged me to try natural remedies. At the same time, she was 100% supportive of what I wanted and did not try to push me one way or another as I considered various interventions. After the baby was born, Dominique helped me feed her for the first time and stayed with us until we were settled in the postpartum room.

Perhaps the single most valuable part of working with Dominique has been the ability to ask her questions in the weeks after giving birth. She gave me a pep talk when I was nervous to take the baby home, she took our call late the first night when we were concerned about swaddling properly, she made us a video addressing our diapering issues, she helped me create a schedule to resolve my breastfeeding pain… the list goes on and on. Honestly, I don’t know where we’d be without her. I cannot recommend Dominique enough!

Dominique was AMAZING. I am so happy I invested in a doula! My pregnancy journey, birthing journey & postpartum journey was everything i could imagine! I’m super blessed & grateful to know Dominique! She was very informative, impressive, knowledgeable & supportive! Since I was a first time mom there was so much for me to learn & that is exactly what Dominique help with. I can go on on about my experience but everyone experiences will be different but as long as it what you were expecting that’s all that matter. Dominique will do her very best to make sure you have a great experience with being pregnant & birthing!

As a dad and partner, I was clear that I also wanted the guidance and support of a doula for our second baby. I highly recommend that partners of birthing persons experience working with M.A.M.A. birth services. Dominique's care, professionalism, and experience made me feel empowered and reassured about how to support my wife through pregnancy and labor. She will remain such an important part of our journey. I was admittedly nervous when I learned that the doula we used for our first child's birth would not be available for our second, but as soon as we connected with Dominique, I felt a huge sense of peace. From our very first meeting to her support post-birth, our experience with Dominique was truly outstanding. In our meetings during the pregnancy, she always took the time to listen and understand how my partner and I were feeling—I never, ever felt rushed and she always made me feel seen and respected. Even when I was weary from mothering a busy toddler, she helped me connect to my baby and have a more positive pregnancy overall. When I faced challenges in labor, she was there every step of the way to provide counsel and a listening ear and help me achieve my goals. And once our daughter was born, Dominque's support didn't stop; she was an integral part of those first hours and days with our daughter Earth-side. In sum, Dominque truly went above and beyond for our family and we'll always remember her as such a special and important part of our journey. She is kind, patient, and thoughtful and it's clear she has a genuine passion for what she does. Thank you, Dominique!!

Dominique is top notch. The level of professionalism, thoughtfulness, caring and compassion is unmatched. She has a wealth of knowledge that was so helpful and put me at ease. Her level of planning, experience and expertise made managing a toddler and new born twins possible. All while ensuring that I did not neglect my physical and mental health. Dominique was a very good Doula for my sister. She helped her with anything she needed. She was a shoulder to lean on when my sister was overwhelemed with caring for new born twins. She was a constant, very patient and kind person to be around. Anyone who uses her services would be very lucky.

My husband and I were blessed to find Dominique as our Doula. She guided us through every step of the pregnancy and was exceptional during delivery. Dominique helped me labor through one of the hardest yet empowering days of my life. Her skillset, expertise, support and optimal care gave me the confidence I needed to labor unmedicated — as I had hoped. She was an incredible and deeply devoted support system during and after my delivery. Her care was even highly praised by the nursing staff at our hospital! The amount of love and passion that she has for what she does can not be quantified. She is God sent and will definitely be our doula of choice for life. From my experience, I believe seeking a doula to support, guide, and help you advocate for yourself during your pregnancy is a must. Definitely one of the best decisions my husband and I made in our pregnancy journey!

Dominique Jones is incredible. She was very kind, uplifting and overall the best doula I ever had. She connects with you in a way that almost feels like family. She advocates for you while you are in labor with people ( nurses, doctors, etc) coming to you with different options different from your birth plan. She helped put together an amazing birth plan and answered all my questions.I had lots of fears since I was a first time mom, and she really helped me navigate through them; with lots of knowledge, videos and articles. I highly recommend her and M.A.M.A

For those of you who are looking for an exceptional doula, look no further. I was fortunate to be connected to Ms. Dominique Jones for the birth of my second child. From our initial consultation, I knew that I wanted Ms. Jones to be our Doula. Her incredible professionalism and her amazing ability to really listen to her client's needs and desires while also demonstrating her extensive experience by offering her guidance and expertise to ensure the most positive birthing experience, I'm so glad I trusted my gut instincts to chose her as my Doula. Ironically, due to the ever-evolving COVID situation (thanks, Omicron!) and constantly-changing COVID policies at the hospital, Ms. Jones was held back from entering the delivery room until the hospital could confirm my negative COVID test. That, in addition to the fact that my second child decided to make her debut into this world quite quickly, I was not able to have Ms. Jones by my side for the actual delivery. However, it did not take-away from the tremendous value she brought to my overall birthing experience as my Doula. Without fail, she constantly and regularly offered her support and guidance leading up to, during and after the birth. She always made herself available and was quick to respond to my text messages and phone calls, not to mention the fact that she rushed to the hospital (at 3am!) during a major winter storm to be by my side. Following the delivery, Ms. Jones truly went above and beyond to facilitate a smooth transition for me and my family. From her incredible home-cooked meals, and bringing an array of healthy, nutritious snacks, to conducting a thorough post-partum consultation, Ms. Jones brings a whole new level and meaning of what it means to be a remarkable and dedicated Doula! I could not be more pleased with having chosen Ms. Jones as my Doula and hope this testimony will compel others to do the same! Thank you for everything, Dominique!
