I could not recommend Sarah enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and worth every penny.

While my labour and birth was not what I had anticipated, Sarah made sure I was informed to make decisions and stood by us through it all.

We couldn't have survived the process without her!!

Sarah has helped me through two deliveries at Framingham Union Hospital. Prior to my first delivery, she answered all my questions about pregnancy and giving birth. She gave great advice on pregnancy and baby products, like the pros and cons between different breast pumps. She’s easy to talk to and comfortable to be around.

Since she has a wide range of experience in the medical field, Sarah is able to suggest when natural techniques may work best and when medical intervention may be better. For example, during my first delivery, she helped me flip my baby from sunny side up using a rebozo. She recommended pelvic physical therapy, which helped manage pain during my second pregnancy and made the recovery go smoother.

Both of my births came sudden and fast, and both times, Sarah was able to drop everything and get to the hospital right away. During the postpartum visit, she helped me with breastfeeding positions and latching, made sure everything was going well, and offered advice to make things easier for me and my babies.

Sarah is a phenomenal doula who will be there to support you during your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum!

It's hard to find the right words to express how helpful Sarah was for my husband and I. We felt really prepared heading into our labor from all the information we learned from her and the tools she shared. During labor, I felt very supported, even when she was not there. She was only a text/call away and very responsive. As soon as labor got more intense, she showed up right when I needed her. Labor took a few turns but she was so calm and really took the time to explain what was going on when the medical team wasn't immediately able to. She really helped calm my husbands nerves when we found out I had to have a c section. She was such an important part of our experience and we couldn't recommend her enough!

Sarah is a great human and so knowledable - there's no question she can't answer! We birthed with Sarah at UMass Memorial. Knowing how fractured the medical system in our country is, having a doula to help us navigate both the physical aspects of labor and delivery, as well as the politics that come into play, was super imporant to us. She was extremely in tune with my birth preferences and helped us communicate at every point in our labor and delivery experience. She was was a familar face at the bedside, a reassuring voice for my husband, and a constant support to me prenatally and postpartum. She answered texts at all hours of the day and night and there's nothing that's too weird to share with her. What's more, she can help you pocess the many emotions around pregnancy, labor, birth, and everything else in between to help you reach your goals.  I will definitly hire Sarah again, and am so glad she came into our life!

I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough! From our very first meeting, she made me feel excited for my birth and very well-informed throughout my experience.

Sarah provided information in a clear and accessible way, without judgment and ensuring that I understood all my options. Her presence was calming and reassuring, always taking the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions.

Her support during labor made me feel more confident and at ease, knowing that I had someone experienced and caring by my side. She guided me through each stage with such encouragement, helping me stay focused and positive even during the most challenging parts.

She frequently checked in on my physical and mental well being throughout my postpartum experience as well, providing helpful tips and tricks for my recovery and success.

Overall, Sarah played a crucial role in making my birth experience positive and empowering. Her warmth, knowledge, and support were invaluable, and I am so grateful to have had her by my side. If you are looking for a doula who will make you feel confident, comfortable, and informed, look no further than Sarah!

Sarah was an invaluable part of my birth experience for both of my babies.  She is exremely knowledgeable about birth, but also local hospitals - I birthed with her at NWH and UMass.  During my first birth, she kept me calm, gave my husband much needed breaks from physical support, made sure my wishes were respected and supported me in achieving my epidural-free birth.  For my second, very precipitous birth, Sarah was ready in the garage parking lot at 4am with a wheelchair to make sure I made it to the room before baby was born.  She is kind, generous, and will make you and your partner very comfortable.  My husband has become a HUGE supporter of everyone having a doula after working with Sarah, that's how valuable he found her.  Highly recommend!

Sarah was absolutely amazing! We weren't sure about hiring a doula at first but we attended a birthing class and learned a little about what they do. We were on the fence because of the cost but decided that it would be worth it to have the support. Sarah came highly recommended and hiring her was the best decision we could have made. She was so supportive and had such an amazing positive energy. Sarah is always happy to answer questions and address concerns before and after birth. She checked in periodically to see how I was doing even after having the baby. It was truly a wonderful experience and I am so grateful that she supported me through it.

When I first got pregnant I wasn't sure if I'd have a doula, but I'm so glad I did and that it was Sarah! Her calm energy and detailed knowledge helped both labor prep and the delivery itself. I ended up having quite a long and complicated labor and Sarah helped me and my husband navigate it by talking through options and questions to ask the medical team. It felt like having a good friend in the delivery room who happened to be knowledgeable with labor and delivery. Highly recommend!

Sarah was a pleasure to work with. She was there for us before, during and after birth, and she always listened to what I wanted as the birthing person. I knew from the start that I wanted to give birth in a hospital and would likely get an epidural, so I wasn't sure if I was going to find a doula who was supportive of that choice. Immediately after our intro video chat with Sarah, my husband and I knew she was "right" for us because of that support and advocacy for what WE wanted. In previous doula interviews, I felt like others were not a right fit because they wanted to steer me in other directions that suited their comfortability / preferred experience and Sarah never did that. She shared resources and information with me that helped inform choices we made about our birth plan, but she made it clear that I never had to preform for her and that it was about what I wanted as the birthing person. That made the choice easy for me. Sarah helped us create the birth plan that felt right for us, and when we had to diverge from it during labor due to some complications, she advocated for me to get exactly what I needed and didn't make me feel judged at all. Of course I appreciated all of the emotional/physical suport before, during and after labor, but to me that was the most important thing and the biggest reason I would recommend Sarah to any of my friends. I know Sarah would advocate for others who would make completely different choices than me, because her priority is to keep mom safe and supported. If you're wondering if she's helpful throughout the labor process the answer is yes to that too. She coached me through breathwork, used a warm compress to guide me, and literally held my legs up when I was exhausted at the end of hours of pushing. My husband and I are so grateful that we had Sarah in the room with us and would definitely recommend her services!

Sarah was an crucial part of my successful delivery in June 2022. When I was induced emergently Sarah was intrical in maintaining the integrity of my goals for labor and delivery and helping my wife and I navigate the uncertainty. Our daughter arrived safely and with little to no issue despite the odds against us - I know that this is in large part to the support, deep knowledge and investment of Sarahs efforts.

We had the pleasure of working with Sarah this spring and summer for the birth of our first baby. From the start, she was very responsive to all of our questions and took the time to make sure we felt prepared. We are especially appreciative of the time she spent supporting us via text and in person during a long Labor and delivery process. We would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking a caring and dedicated doula!

I hired Sarah as my birth doula for my second child after I have had a really traumatic birth experience with my first son years back.
 Sarah was amazing! Sarah is very knowledgeable, she has lots of experience as a doula. 
We met a few times before baby arrived. She came in very prepared with a lot of knowledge to share, she answered all of my questions and made me feel sure I would have a much better experience this time around.
 The day my water broke, I called her in the middle of the night, she immediately responded, calmed me down first and then arrived at the hospital in no time. At the hospital her presence made me feel so safe. Sarah would make sure I was confortable enough at all times, she would not leave my side, not even for a little break.  I like that she has a lot of healthcare background and whenever a doctor would use medical terms, I had her there to translate everything to me in an easy way to understand. 
She knew I wanted a vaginal birth and she made sure all my wishes were heard. After long hours of pushing, I finally delivered my healthy baby boy. Sarah even took amazing pictures of us. Thank you Sarah for all your hard work! You are incredible!
