I had an urgent c section and was not prepared for the amount of pain or lack of movement I would have after birth. While in the hospital, my husband looked at me and said we needed help ASAP. I immediately got ahold of Julie and she was my fairy godmother! With less than 24 hours notice, she had a postpartum plan for me! Julie and Lauren were amazing. I was able to rest and recover without having to worry. They treated my newborn baby as their own by giving her the snuggles and care that she needed while I slept. Julie also constantly checked in on my recovery and had helpful tips for my pain and discomfort. I truely think I recovered as quick as I did because of Julie and Lauren! I am forever grateful that they were able to come over and take care of baby and myself!

Julie has been an absolute GOD send in one of the most challenging times of our lives being new parents!  I hadn't sought out a doula before birth, thinking I was going to be fine from the courses I took and books I've read. But when we were in the thick of it all, I quickly found myself grasping at straws and for some sort of stability and sanity and Julie was both of those things for me and more! If you are in the market for a doula for your postpartum and pregnancy look no further. Julie has been available around the clock to answer ANY question I may have (no matter how small), she has helped get our little boy onto a great schedule and he is thriving now at 12 weeks old, and has also helped me with my breastfeeding journey. She is helpful, kind, patient, knowledgeable, and SO lovely as a person. In a time where as new parents you feel alone, Julie is there to support you, lift you up, and is just what you need. She truly feels like a member of our family and I am so grateful for her!

From the moment I met Julie I could sense her warm and confident personality and it felt so comforting to me as I prepared for my third c-section. Having someone like her in my corner while in such a vulnerable state meant the world to me. I had a traumatic birth experience with my first child so I had a tremendous amount of anxiety and Julie was there to emotionally support me every step of the way. She came a couple days after my baby was born and she supported me by sleeping next to me in case I needed anything. From 9pm-6am she timed all my pain meds, she would wake when my baby needed feedings, she took care of all diaper changes and would stay up and rock my baby whenever she needed extra time for burps. Everything that Julie did those nights allowed me to get extra rest both physically and mentally. She was incredible. So attentive and she felt like a friend that I’d known for years. She’d fold the baby’s laundry, she even made me an immune boosting tincture that still make whenever anyone in the family isn’t feeling well. I always think of julie. She is full of wisdom and was so patient with me when I felt insecure or doubted myself. Julie has an uplifting spirit and that is exactly what every woman needs when giving birth and post partum. We love Julie and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I honestly cannot imagine having gone through the birth of our baby without the doula services by Julie and her daughter Lauren, and am so grateful to the Breezy Doula and Bree for providing this service. When I say that they were there for us every step of the way, I mean literally every step. Through 30 hours of labor they were with us, guiding and coaching and literally holding me up… I could never have done it without them. The value that having a doula provides is priceless, I truly think every birthing mother should have one! Having someone to assist with the process is everything, I can’t express enough how invaluable it is. Thanks to Julie and Lauren I was able to have a natural, unmedicated birth and I am forever grateful for what they did… they are angels to do the work that they do ??

Julie was our post partum doula with our third baby and worked with us for about 3.5 months and I can't say enough about her; she is incredible. We hadn't worked with a night doula with our first 2 babies, but I wish we had! The entire family loved and felt comfortable with Julie from the moment we met her, and she was obviously incredible with our daughter. When Julie would walk into our house I felt like there was just a peacefulness that settled over all of us and it made such a difference in my post partum experience knowing that I could get some rest and my daughter was in the best hands. I never had any sort of post partum meltdown or tears with this third baby and I truly believe it was because I was getting good sleep. In the early days she'd gently wake me to nurse and later on I was able to pump before I went to bed so she'd have milk for the night feedings and I could get a full nights sleep. At my request Julie also gave me lots of tips about how to time naps and prepare for sleep training (because I'd forgotten it all from my first two, ha!). She delivered her advice and tips in the most thoughtful way and while she was confident in her perspective she was never pushy and never made me feel judged. By the time our contract was done we were fully ready for sleep training and my baby slept a full 12 hours almost immediately. More than all of this though I now consider Julie a friend. She has 4 kids herself and you can tell she is an amazing mom. I feel like I could always call her for advice now, whether about a baby or a big kid or a teenager. If you are considering a post partum doula (which you should if you can!) hire Julie -- she is incredible!!

Julie has been so much more than a doula. She is a caring, loving friend. She went above and beyond my expectations as a doula. When I went into labor she was in contact with me via phone. Giving me advice,  checking in, and keeping me calm. Once I was ready to head to the hospital, I let her know. She met me there early morning. Stayed with me for my long labor. I felt at ease with her by my side. She was very encouraging, guiding me to exercise and keep moving. The essential oils also made a positive impact on my mood. We had deep conversations that allowed me to stay occupied and keep going! She supported me in all my decisions. Once baby arrived, she took some beautiful pictures to capture the moment in the chaos.
Thank you once again, dear Julie ?. I appreciate your support during an important time in my life. ??
