We had the fortune and privilege of getting Johnie as our nighttime doula after the birth of our first child- and we HIGHLY recommend her! Johnie is the perfect combination of warm, maternal, professional, skilled, and jovial. First and foremost, Johnie is phenomenal at what she does. From day one she made both me (as a first time mom who was in a lot of pain after birth) and our little girl feel so comfortable - and safe. She immediately saw that I was in pain and sprung into action with helping me maneuver breastfeeding. When it comes to babies, she has a natural magical touch - and cared for our little girl with so much warmth. Our baby was extremely comfortable with her, and it showed. Johnie always was very pleasant at all times and never said "no." She was very approachable and helpful with all tasks - including helping wash baby bottles/ mom's pump parts. She was always on time and professional. The cherry on top is that Johnie is a wonderful person who truly cares about each and every client - even checking up on us on her days off. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure baby and mom are taken care of. Johnie has taught us so many things about parenting, which we really appreciated as first time parents. She also was a wonderful companion, providing emotional support whenever needed. The first few weeks after giving birth are testing times - but Johnie made this period so much easier, and helped us navigate first time parenthood. Johnie will forever be a part of our journey. Any family would be extremely lucky to get Johnie as a doula! If you're lucky enough to interview with her, hire her right away - don't wait. She is the absolute best.

Johnie is not only a great doula but she's also such a kind person. She has been so supportive and helpful throughout my postpartum journey. She has been such a gentle, loving caregiver to my son and has also helped me with breastfeeding, and just has provided a lot of really great advice. I highly recommend Johnie to any family who is needing extra support & love!

Johnie met with me regularly to educate, encourage and equip me with the knowledge I needed for labor and delivery. I felt such a comfort having her at my side and she made me so glad I chose to have a doula. Not only was she a comfort to me but also to my husband who really appreciated her. During the labor and delivery she helped me breathed through the contractions, focus on my baby coming into the world soon and intervening when necessary with medical staff. I am so glad I chose her to be my doula and would recommend her to others. She truly has compassion, attentiveness, and is a great listener and responder to a new mom's needs. I am grateful and am super excited that she is a doula giving women the care and concern they need as new mothers.
