Masako was my birth doula for my first birth in the hospital and I had a really positive experience. She gave me really useful recommendations and knowledge leading up to my birth. During the actual birth, her knowledge of massage and acupressure helped get me through my contractions. Her calming presence gave me more confidence and helped me remain calm. She gave great suggestions on switching positions, getting my husband involved, and keeping the atmosphere calming. She greatly contributed to my birth experience being very positive and not traumatic. She helped me achieve the experience that I wanted and I am so glad I had her by my side for my birth journey!
