Cece was an invaluable support during my pregnancy and birth. Her guidance and expertise were instrumental in preparing me for the journey ahead. She was always available to answer questions, offer advice, and provide comfort.
When my birth plan took an unexpected turn, Cece's calm and reassuring presence was a lifesaver. She helped me navigate the situation with grace and strength. I am so grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to any expecting mother!

In the words of my husband, “She is worth every penny!” Before we even agreed to hire CeCe, she was providing us resources to look into during our discovery call. We had such a sense of comfort after our call we did not even bother to interview any other doulas. I will forever be grateful for the role CeCe played in the birth of our first child. She answered the panicked call at 5:30 in the morning when my water broke six weeks early. She was the voice of reason and the calm in a scary moment. She continued to check in with us as we got settled at the hospital. Once CeCe arrived, she didn’t hesitate to jump into action. We hadn’t had the opportunity to talk though my birth plan yet other than I wanted to have a natural birth. When comfort measures weren’t going as planned, she had suggestion after suggestion for things to try. When I was ready to give up, she encouraged me and helped me have a version of the birth that I had been envisioning.
Despite everything that CeCe did for us during the birth, words cannot express how much I treasured her during everything that happened afterwards. My baby had to be taken to the NICU and my husband went with our baby. CeCe sat with me during the two hour observation period so that I would not be alone. She shared her own stories and experience and helped prepare my mama heart for the days that would follow. When it was time to transfer rooms, she literally carried our belongings to our room so that I could get to the NICU to see my baby faster. CeCe continued to stay in contact with us in the days and weeks to follow offering support and prayers for our family. Even now when I run into CeCe around town, it’s as if I’m running into an old friend who sincerely wants to know how our family is doing. My husband and I have already agreed that we will definitely be seeking Cece out to assist with our future births!

Cece made our first sweet baby boy's birth so sweet, calm, and spirit filled. She helped my husband learn how to be an incredible birth partner and taught us how to advocate for ourselves in the hospital.
I labored at home for a while with Cece's support first over the phone and then in person. We then went to the hospital for a long, marathon of a labor. But she provided such a peaceful, calming presence that even when my baby was sunny side up and having a hard time turning in the birth canal, she reassured me supported me both emotionally and physically, and helped my husband /stayed overnight to be there for us despite us all being so tired.
Our beautiful baby boy turned and made his debut into the world so perfectly thanks to Cece! She is gentle, nurturing, and caring. We were beyond blessed to have her sweet hand in our baby's birth and we will definitely ask her to be our doula again for future baby #2. ??

I am so thankful to have connected with Cece for my first birth and will absolutely hire her if I ever get pregnant again. She provides her clients with unmatched care and is kind, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable. I'm a doula myself and I highly recommend her! She is definitely someone you want coaching you and holding your hand through labor and delivery.

My husband and I are so thankful to have found Cece for our first pregnancy. I had a high risk pregnancy but also desired to go as low intervention as possible. Our prenatal appointments with her were so informative and helped us feel more confident. Towards the end of pregnancy our birth plan changed and Cece was right there for every discussion and helped us adapt our new plan. Once in labor, Cece went above and beyond to help me move around and find comfort during our marathon labor and delivery. Even when plans changed, she continued to keep me calm and grounded. Cece worked tirelessly with our midwife and nurses to help us safely deliver our baby girl and we seriously don’t know how we would have gotten through it without her!
Since delivery, Cece’s continued to check in on us, answer questions and send encouragement and prayers. The newborn phase is beautiful but messy, and we feel so grateful to have her support in our corner.
Cece is an amazing doula and proof that doula services are for everybody and every kind of pregnancy.

I was sceptical of a doula when my wife mentioned interest in finding one for the birth of our second child. We had used the midwifery services for our first child, but the experience was not great. I was not willing to jump in headfirst with Cece, but was willing to meet her. She immediately impressed. She was knowledgeable on just about every aspect of the process and up to date on all the newest literature. It was clear she was very passionate about what she does. My wife and I felt alone and unsupported during the birth of our first child. Cece was able to be an advocate for us with our second. The delivery process can be slow at times, but when things start, it all happens in a flash. If you are unfamiliar with labor and delivery, like I was, you can be nudged off your wife's plan by the doctors and nurses. They are looking out for everyone's best interests, but don't necessarily understand you want out of the experience. Cece was the extra set of eyes we needed to ensure my wife's delivery plan came to fruition, as well as took some of the weight off my shoulders that I felt with our first child. I would highly recommend working with Cece.

After a somewhat negative birth experience with our first child, for the birth of our second, my husband and I decided we needed a different perspective other than what my OB practice or the hospital team could offer. It seemed to us that today’s standard of care almost defaults to inductions, interventions and medically managed labors. I wanted to birth at a hospital but felt I was capable of doing it a more natural way…I just needed the right tools. Enter Cece! She helped educate us on labor coping strategies and how to take control of our birth experience. As a young mom herself, she is super relatable and was always available when I had questions - of any kind! Once in labor, she was pivotal in helping me cope and helped us ask questions of the nursing team I never would have thought. Having her on our team allowed me to have the birth I wanted and for that I will be forever grateful. Whether you are a first time or a veteran mom, Cece will help you have the birth experience that is right for you. Can’t begin to recommend her enough!

Cece Peace is everything you are looking for in a doula- compassionate, supportive, experienced and educated in her craft.
She helped us prep thoroughly beforehand! During her prenatal visits to our home, we practiced labor positions, went over our goals, talked about everyone’s roles, and overall made me feel much more prepared. She was available for calls and texts, answering all of my “is this normal” and “is this labor” questions! She always responded with compassion and expertise, guiding me to rest, relax, and listen to my body.
Despite our best laid plans my stubborn, sunny side up, acynclitic, 9lb 9 oz baby needed a bit of help entering the world. We gave it our best effort for almost three days. I ended up with an induction, pitocin, an epidural, and after 62 hours of labor… a cesarean delivery of our perfect baby boy. These were all things that I hadn’t wanted to be a part of my birth experience, but thanks to Cece, we had talked about all the potential outcomes and decided ahead of time how to handle them.
Rather than feel defeated or like things were out of my control, Cece helped me with each new decision and each change of course so that I felt informed and empowered. She also helped us make the most our unplanned c-section. We had our wedding music playing in the OR and Cece stood right by husband, taking pictures the whole time!
Since our little guy arrived, Cece has stayed a welcome part of our baby raising village. She checks in on us, helped with care team recommendations, and gave me feedback and support when our little guy needed a tongue tie release.
I would recommend Cece to anyone having a baby! The labor and delivery process was the most challenging and beautiful experience of my life… a doula is an invaluable asset to have walking, sometimes carrying, you through.

I want to start this review by just telling you that if you are looking for a doula that will be there for you before and after you have your baby and someone who knows how to serve people, Cece is the person you need.
I've been trying to put into words how much it meant to me all the help and support that my husband and I received from Cece, and I think I won't be able to explain how amazing our experience with her was.
Cece met with us a couple of times in our home before our baby was born and gave us meaningful information about preparing for labor and things we could have for the postpartum period. It seemed irrelevant at the moment, but it helped us make the transition to new parents much more manageable.
Cece also was with us in the hospital and listened to everything I wanted, and she was always in communication with the medical team. She was there for us in every push and even took the time to take pictures of such a magical moment, memories we will always cherish.
When I brought my daughter home, I struggled with breastfeeding and had a dental emergency. I will always be grateful to Cece because she went beyond everything and donated some of her breast milk. I always tell my husband that I could successfully continue my breastfeeding journey because of Cece.
Cece also came to visit us during the first days of postpartum checking up on us and making sure my family was doing well. She even brought us home-cooked meals she made. I woke up one night and found Cece folding clothes with my husband in the room next to me. That is Cece; she is that person, that guiding light in those days of chaos when we had no idea what to do or how to do it.
Today six months after our baby was born, we know that finding Cece was one of the best things that happened to us! Cece will be in our hearts forever! We believe that God always put angels in our way, and Cece has been one of them.

Cece was wonderful to work with! I so appreciated her nudgings to think about the kind of birthing space I wanted to create physically and mentally. She supplied me with different meditations to listen to in advance, in addition to Christian Hypnobirthing resources that I was using. She has a wonderful encouraging presence, which was so vital when we arrived to the hospital and shortly after arriving it was determined I needed an emergency C-section. She prayed with me before I was wheeled back to surgery and was a comforting presence for my husband. She was there when I came back and helped capture some special moments between Dad and baby, and all three of us. She cared for us after we got home from the hospital by bringing food, checking in on us, and providing a listening ear. I can't imagine having gone through such an intimidating experience as an emergency c-section without her support. My hope was to have a VBAC and that's what I was preparing for, but birth happens. ?????? And I'm grateful that Cece was there! I would absolutely recommend Cece to other parents searching for support along the birthing journey and afterward. ??

Cece has attended and supported me through three of my four deliveries, but truly she encouraged me, checked in, and loved on me physically and emotionally throughout my entire pregnancy multiple times. Cece just loves people well so this role is a natural outpouring of that for her. She also loves birth and learning all about how our amazing bodies can do this incredible thing. On the day of, or the days leading up, she's always been available for lots of texting and calls. I have felt calmed by her presence and not that she was ever trying to take over in a way I didn't want her to. My husband also felt very cared for by her and on multiple occasions now, she's gone above and beyond to make sure he was supported as well. Five stars; would use again and again!!!

Cece was truly amazing on helping me with supporting my wife during labor. My wife wanted to have an all natural birth which is obviously very painful and she really helped me be at peace and remain calm for her while she was going through all what she was going through. She was always there to remind me that while yes, it is all about my wife during labor, it's important that I take care of myself too. She was always there to remind me to eat or sit down and have a drink or go outside for a minute and get some fresh air. Her phone was always on when my wife needed her and she really was just a phone call away if we needed her for anything. She supported my wife's every need as well. She always said while we are going to make sure you have the delivery you want and desire, it's important to know that not everything does go according to plan and it's ok to have a backup plan. I highly recommend her as a doula, she really is a natural at it!

Cece was such a wonderful addition to our birth experience. From the very first meeting with her we instantly connected. She was informative and so knowledgeable about pregnancy, labor and the birth process. She met with us multiple times to review the labor process, signs of early labor, ways to progress to active labor and positioning for achieving our pain management goal. She was there during my entire labor process and even when things took a turn from the original plan, we had already reviewed options of labor went off course. She was a huge advocate for me the entire time, especially when I was unable to/ unprepared for situations during labor. After giving birth she came to visit and check on the three of us and even offered to help take some chores off of our plate! Oh, and she had meals delivered for us! We felt she was so compassionate and understanding and wanted nothing but the best outcome for our birth story. We couldn't have done it without her. We are so grateful to have found Cece and would recommend her to anyone! She will definitely be outlet doula for life!

Cece was our doula for our 2nd pregnancy. In addition to providing my wife with a wealth of knowledge, she also provided immense emotional support for me and my wife. She was a strong advocate for my Wife and our baby when it was determined he was transverse and accompanied us to the hospital when my wife needed an ECV to turn him. During the final weeks of pregnancy, she was instrumental in providing my wife with positions and stretches to relieve discomfort, but also helped to coach me through being a supportive husband when I was dealing with anxiety about the onset of labor. The morning my son was born, she came over at 3am to coach my wife through the aggressive onset of contractions, then followed us to the hospital. When my Son was born in the backseat of our car before we reached the hospital, it was Cece's calm demeanor that called 911 for help and caught my son as he emerged. Her medical knowledge and decisive action undoubtedly kept my wife and son safe in an incredibly difficult situation.

Cece is amazing to say the least! She is caring, supportive, and very knowledgeable. During my pregnancy, she was there any time of day to answer my questions and even more so days leading up to my delivery when I was desperate to have the baby. She gave me tips and tricks to help speed the process along. When I had my baby (first time mom) I was very overwhelmed and dealing with some PPD. I would text her at the end of the day begging for her help. She would come over and put our baby to bed for us when we needed a break. She had the magic touch and still does with my now 5 month old! After she would get baby down, we would talk about the difficulties I was going through and she would try to come up with a plan to help me and baby. She helped me with breastfeeding specifically latching baby and was always supportive of my breastfeeding decisions. I don't have enough room to write all the things she has helped me and my baby with. She is so special to our family and we would not have made it through the first few months without her.

Working with Cece was the best decision we made for the birth of our child! I knew that I wanted an unmedicated birth, but since I had no prior experience with birth, my husband and I wanted a support person who was confident, encouraging, and could advise us throughout the process. Even from our initial consult, I felt empowered and supported by Cece. She gave excellent, informed counsel and was fully behind me and my husband no matter what decisions we made about our birth experience. She walked us through any questions or concerns we had regarding pregnancy, natural birth, and typical medical practices. She offered great support before, during, and after the birth.
We ended up having an incredible, intervention-free birth at 41 weeks 1 day, and I credit a great deal of that to Cece's support and guidance as well as the preparation she gave us. I don't know what I would have done without her talking me through each and every contraction, reassuring me I was doing a great job and helping me to remain in control. She is calm, confident, caring, and trustworthy. I am so, so thankful for all of her help, and how she has continued to check in to provide support since the birth of our son. I would highly recommend hiring her as your doula, you will be so glad you did!!

Cece provided a thorough set of labor and delivery techniques, both physical and emotional, strategies and planning for before labor and delivery, check in with us as parents before and after labor and delivery, and constant coaching, practical help, knowledge, and encouragement during labor and delivery.
She was great, I'd recommend her or use her again. She was really knowledgable, confident, but also supportive and comforting, particularly to my wife during labor, which meant a lot to me. She taught us everything we needed to know and remind us of it along the way, but didn't focus too long on the things we didn't want to spend more time on. She was also very available, which was helpful because all of this was at a distance for us.

I highly recommend working with Cece as your doula or in my case, as my daughter's doula. As the grandmother-to-be, it was so comforting to "meet" Cece over the phone before the actual birthing event took place. Naturally, I had questions and concerns about how certain things would be addressed during the birthing process. Cece listened to carefully to my concerns and addressed each one with such love, care and confidence that I felt I was more prepared!
During the birthing process, I was kept up to date and any concerns were addressed as quickly as possible. Even though I wasn't in the delivery room, I felt I was able to take part because of Cece.
Cece is very professional and has excellent bedside manner. I hope we use her again for future grandbabies!!!

As husbands go, I was very prepared for each of my children's births. I knew the lingo, I knew helpful positions to labor in, I knew I was going get yelled at and then immediately apologized to followed by more yelling (contractions come and go). I read the birth plan and limbered up for hip squeezing and being used as a human railing when my wife wanted to squat and hold me around the neck for support.
But, all the classes, reading, and videos can't prepare a man to see the one he loves in pain nor to balance all the many emotions of labor and birth. I can't speak to what having a Doula like Cece meant to my wife - but for me, it was the difference between feeling alone versus feeling supported. Feeling unsure versus feeling confident in my ability to support my wife.
Cece is prepared, thoughtful, capable, level-headed in the midst of high stress, and a comfort to work with, through several births now - all different than the last.

Cece is a prime example of what a Doula should be. Not knowing much about birthing or what to expect from the labor process (as this was our first child), I was relieved and at ease to have Cece with us through the entire process as she carried herself as a well versed and educated individual. We had an induced labor due to a mild case of gestational hypertension, and when we arrived at the hospital to get checked in, Cece was waiting at the door to help get us settled. I am never good about thinking of proper questions to ask the doctors and nurses, but that didn't matter because she had us COVERED asking quality questions that pertained to my wife's care, my family's well being, and vouching for the desires laid out in our birthing plan. Even when Cece left to go home when little was happening during our labor, she was in constant communication with me and my wife, offering to bring us whatever we need or may have forgotten initially.
I am personally in the practice of "do what you tell me to do and I'll do it" and am seldom good at reading the room to fulfill a need in settings where I feel out of place. Cece quickly figured out how I work best and was happy to give me direction, suggestions and was always willing to tag in for me to take a break during the labor process. She was generous with her reminders to stay hydrated and fed and even gave me reminders to step outside and grab some sunshine to rejuvenate (there is no natural light in those birthing rooms). Cece also took point on communicating with our families with only necessary information - something I was dreading days before the visit.
It was an arduous three day process until we got to meet our son, and it wouldn't have been the amazing experience it was had Cece not been there to aid us. Our son's now share a birthday (Oh yeah, she missed her son's birthday to be with us) and we couldn't be happier with the expert and sincere service she provided.

Having Cece present at my birth was the best decision we could have made for our birth experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely invested creating the birth experience you desire. Before my birth, Cece provided me with endless resources, books, and instruction that prepared me to make choices for my bird experience, prepare for life with a new born, and be ready for the challenging choices I would make regarding my birth plan. She was an incredible friend and advocate with my plan for an unmedicated birth turned into an unwanted early induction. She helped me think of questions for my appointments and prepared me to be an educated and informed patient as my provider and I determined my care plan.
Wanting a natural birth, but going in for a medical induction. I was nervous that my desires for a low intervention birth would be ignored. Cece was the perfect advocate and support person. I am certain I cannot highlight all that she did for us in one review. She helped us communicate with our care team and kept our families updates. She made sure everyone knew my plan at each shift change. She coached my husband on ways to help relieve my pain and make sure he was taken care of too, reminding him to eat, drink and get fresh air! Throughout the stages of labor she provided me with positions, coached me through circuits, and helped me relax. Cece was indespensible every step of the way. She even kept record of my progression, things that happened during labor and moments of the days for me to remember! I will treasure that always!
Cece is knowledgeable, passionate, and inspiring in your birth experience. I have no doubt that she would be a valuable support person in any birth situation.

Four words for Cece: patient, caring, knowledgeable, and non-judgemental.
Cece has been a friend for several years. We worked together during the pregnancies of our daughters (both born June 2017) and I loved the camaraderie we had and learning more about the birth process. I just watched Cece read books and blogs and learn everything she could about having a baby and I gleaned so much knowledge from her. When my son was born summer of 2019, I went into labor 17 days early and my husband was out of town. Cece was already on speed dial and she met me at the hospital and was my support person until my husband made it. She was ready to spend the night if necessary on a moments notice. I loved our time together during labor, and she has always been supportive about my birth choices (epidural and pitocin if recommended) and I felt so loved and suported by her. Cece was on the phone, texting my husband and family the updates, and helping me monitor my baby's progression and decisions needing to be made. And yes, my husband did make our sons arrival. Previous to my sons birth, she always had the best stretches or recommendations for comfort during pregnancy. Her passion is evident and her company is a treasure.
