When I decided I wanted a doula I asked around and was referred to Asheena. From our initial conversation over the phone to in person I loved her energy. She advocated for me and affirmed that my thoughts and feelings were valid when it came to me and my son. She made sure my partner was involved during this journey. We went over my birth plan and though circumstances didn't allow me to follow completely through it still felt great to have one in such detail. I could call or text her and if she didn't respond right away she was sure to reach out to me before the day was over. I'm a first time mom and the fact that she already had children was comforting especially since she breastfed because that is what I told her I wanted to do and still is. Covid definitely made me appreciate having the opportunity to hire a doula. She checked on me even after my baby was born because I definitely had questions. Overall I recommend her 10/10 and if I'm still in Charlotte and pregnant I would use her again.

Asheena was absolutely amazing! This was my first pregnancy and I had no idea what to expect. From day one, she was attentive, supportive, and encouraging. She was the only person that made sure I was emotionally and mentally well throughout the pregnancy and after birth, and comforted me when I wasn't. Having her to lean on meant the world to me & I'm so grateful for her!! ??
