I met with Lindsey after a traumatic birth experience. She was easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable. After a year, I messaged her and told her we expecting and wanted her to be our doula. Throughout the pregnancy, she was always there when I had questions or concerns. She would check in periodically if she hadn’t heard from me. At our prenatal visits, she was very thorough in helping us create an ideal birth plan. She helped me feel more comfortable going into labour and delivery after my first birth was incredibly traumatic. Lindsey helped me decide when it was time to go to the hospital. She met us there and things went fast. She was incredibly calm throughout the process. She was my lighthouse through the birthing process. She kept me on track, calm, and followed through on the birth plan that we created. She made sure that myself and my boyfriend were aware of everything that was happening and explained things as we went. After birth, she helped with the postpartum side of things and helped us get ready to go home that night. She also took beautiful pictures that I will cherish forever. I’m not sure how things would have went or how I would have done without her. She empowered me throughout the experience. I would recommend her to everyone. I would definitely have Lindsey at my next birth.

I cannot say enough about Lindsay. Lindsay was a game-changer during the birth of our child. Her support, guidance, and calming presence made the entire experience more manageable and, more importantly, empowering for both of us. I can't imagine going through it without her. Thank you Lindsay, for being an invaluable part of our journey.

You are a special one... thanks for managing me during the 'fog of war'.... hahaha

From her interview to our final postpartum visit, Lindsey showered us with so much love, knowledge, support and encouragement. Lindsey exceeded all my expectations and really went above and beyond in all aspects of her support. Not once was I ever made to feel like I couldn’t ask a question or felt ashamed or embarrassed of a feeling I felt during the process. We had a home birth on the agenda but our sweet babe had another way in mind for his arrival (emergency Caesarian) and Lindsey was able to provide both my husband and I with space to process the emotion behind that as well as help us transition from home to hospital. She was quick to arrive at the hospital once we called for her to assist and she provided a calming energy to the room and really turned the hospital room into our own little space making it feel more homey. She helped set up our diffuser, a beautiful northern lights projector as well as was quick to find additional warm blankets to make rest between contractions more comfortable. Lindsey provided great support for my husband, showing and guiding him through positions and touch so he could help me ease through a contraction as well as giving him the space to emotionally process his quickly arriving new title of “dad.” She was the calming energy through each contraction and allowed the space for us to bond as a couple while providing some pain relief through the TENS machine as well as massage and touch. As we were taken to the operating room to deliver our boy, Lindsey stayed behind and provided much needed support through text with us until we were finally home a few days later and she could re-join us, meet our son and provide us with postpartum care and resources. She went above and beyond and shared some beautiful photos she took at the hospital and a detailed birth story she wonderfully documented for us. Hiring Lindsey for our birth was one of the highlights for us and I am forever grateful to her!

Lindsey was invaluable in helping both my husband and I feel supported, safe, and well informed throughout my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum journey. From the first time we met, we were so impressed by her warm and calming energy combined with her process-driven and objective approach to guiding couples through the good, the bad, and the ugly of pregnancy and labor and delivery. Whether it was helping to talk me through my anxieties leading up to the birth of our son, navigating important decisions for the birth plan, and finally, being an incredible source of support, encouragement, and gentle guidance during the actual labor and delivery where we faced many unforeseen complications, Lindsey was prompt, accessible and made us feel prioritized. Even despite the many challenges and curve balls that we faced during delivery, I felt safe and calm, and still look back at the experiences very fondly - this was in large part thanks to Lindsey.

I was initially a bit nervous about adding another person to the room when I went into labor, I worried that maybe it would feel distracting or too crowded, but Lindsey was a natural fit for my healthcare/support team and was instrumental in helping my husband be aware of how he could best support me, which resulted in both he and I feeling deeply connected during the entire experience.

I would highly recommend Lindsey and her services for expecting parents.

We had Lindsey as our doula for the birth of our daughter and she was a crucial help for my husband and I. We had a very long labour and she was there the entire time, showing complete support and dedication to our comfort. Lindsey provided emotional support, exercises to help with contractions, and reassurance during the hard times. She kept us calm and was a great neutral sounding board when we had to make the decision to be induced. She provided guidance and coaching when active labour began and I was pushing our daughter out. I felt supported during the most challenging time of my life and I’m so thankful to her for being there. Being a rock for us. I don’t know how we would have done our birth without her.

It was a privilege having Lindsey present during my labour and birth of my son. Throughout the whole process Lindsey went above and beyond with the knowledge and support she offered myself and my partner. We are so grateful that we were able to have her there during what was, at times, a very tricky and sometimes scary birthing process. I can’t imagine how much more difficult the experience might have been without her guidance and advocacy. Leading up to labour, Lindsey also provided a lot of information to help ease our fears and amazing tips from her yoga background to help get my body physically ready to give birth. And thanks to Lindsey we now also have beautiful photos and timeline of my son’s birthday, which in the aftermath of our experience have provided great comfort to us. Finally we were so impressed at Lindsey’s organization and thoughtfulness when it came to every aspect of her service. It’s the kind of support I believe everyone who is giving birth deserves!

We were lucky enough to meet Lindsey at a Meet Your Doula event, and felt that she would be a good match for our personalities and meet the criteria of what we were looking for in a doula. We had no idea that she would end up being exactly what we needed and critical to the success of our delivery.

Our medical support was transferred from midwifery care to OB care due to a risk factor that arose in my pregnancy. Lindsey was very helpful and supportive through that transition and was able to pivot quickly to help fill in some of the information gaps where things were not explained well to us through the process.

We had a very long labour, and in the final 12 hours we had a nurse who was overwhelmed and wasn’t able to provide adequate care. Lindsey stepped up and took control of the room. Not only was she offering the emotional support myself and my husband needed, and the physical support through sit bone counter pressure for hours, she was also reminding the nurse that certain medication doses were due at certain times. We ended up delivering in the operating room and even though she had already been at the hospital for over 24 hours, Lindsey waited at the hospital until our son was born, and stayed for a while longer to ensure that I had some food and drink, to help my husband feed our son colostrum since I was recovering, and in general to make sure we had support on the way to the hospital before she left.

In the first week post partum, Lindsey checked up on myself and my husband often via text to make sure we were doing okay. We scheduled our post partum visit for 2 weeks after our son was born, and during that visit we were able to continue our emotional healing from our difficult delivery, and to psychologically let go of some of the harder parts of the experience.

I can’t say enough good things about Lindsey, and hope we will be fortunate enough to have her as our doula again in the future.

Being my 1st pregnancy I was so unsure how I was going to make it through it all and even more the delivery day was scary to think about. Having Lindsays support helped relieve my nerves and uncertainties.

I don't want to imagine how the birth of our little boy would have gone without her.  She knew exactly how to help me emotionally and physically in the best and hardest of moments. She helped my husband through it too. Explained how he could support me and help him not end-up on the floor, haha.  He wasn't sure if a doula was needed at the start but he was so grateful to have her there that day.

She is very lovely, caring and attentive. She knew when she had to keep me calm and when we could use a bit of joy and humor to keep us going.  She was very professional and all the medical staff and delivery team were so impressed by her.  Even after multiple postpartum visits they kept asking and talking about how awesome my doula was and how lucky I was to have her there with me.  I can’t recommend her enough.

She helped take pictures and gave us a precious keepsake, a birth story from her perspective addressed to our baby boy.  It was wonderful to read and the best way to remember that day.

Lindsey was the emotional and physical support that I wish I would have had with my first baby! Birth is an out of this world experience, and Lindsey’s touch and voice brought me back into my body. She was so sweet and nurturing and I felt so well taken care of the whole time. I couldn’t have done it without her.

As a first-time mom, there is overwhelmingly lots of information out there. While I thought I was prepared for what was to come, I knew that I wouldn't remember anything during labour & delivery; hence, I asked Lindsey to be my doula to navigate the most intense time of our journey. From the start of the early labour, Lindsey kindly helped us pin down the best timing to go to the hospital. Once I was admitted to the hospital, her amazing yoga-instructor voice helped me focus on breathing and connecting with the moment. Not only did she mentally support me but also my husband. I would definitely recommend Lindsey to anyone expecting birth!

As a first time momma, I had no idea what to expect from my birth. I took hiring my doula VERY seriously...

I interviewed 7 different doulas! The first doula I interviewed was Lindsey, and I instantly felt a connection with her over the phone. I loved her background in education and yoga, her humour and heart. She followed up with me a couple days later to see how my interviews were going… something I really appreciated - she was on the ball! I decided to go with her and couldn’t wait for our journey together.

Throughout the prebirth process she was VERY helpful. Any questions or concerns I had, she would send me an answer asap. I felt very supported by her. She was accountable , trustworthy and reliable.

I went into labour 17 days early which was a total surprise! She came to our house and was an absolute godsend. Lindsey had the magic touch, soothing voice and kind words to hold space for me. I can honestly say she made it a magical experience and I couldn’t have imagined doing it without her. Her massage and pressure points relieved my pain. She was by my side, reminding me how strong and amazing I was. When it came time to push she held my hand and took photos/videos - which was something I really wanted and I am beyond thankful that we have those memories!

A couple days later, she sent us our birth story from her perspective to our son. Having that sweet memory from her perspective and reading her kind words about us and the labour is something that I will cherish forever.

I can not brag about Lindsey enough. She is kind, warm hearted, patient, skilled and an absolute gem. My midwife was also extremely impressed by her. I will be hiring Lindsey to help me deliver all of my babies moving forward. If you value love, words of affirmation and physical touch, Lindsey is your girl <3

Lindsey is an incredible person. Her support through my labor is what made my birth story positive. She was always there when I needed her, to remind me of my breath, help me cope through contractions, and keep me calm while things got intense. I looked to her throughout my labor (which was very long) and she was always there for me when I needed her. My labor was 30+ hours and I honestly don’t think I would have made it without her.

She is such a sweet person, the exact type of person you want beside you as you grow through something life changing. Lindsey helped me with different poses, massage, reminded me to eat/drink, all the things you forget as you’re going through labor. My husband was there through all of it, but he also benefitted from having Lindsey there.

My husband didn’t understand why a doula was necessary but after experiencing our daughters birth, he understands and would recommend Lindsey to anyone we know who is pregnant.

From the start, I knew Lindsey was the right person to help me. She is a very kind soul who always took time to reach out and check in before labor began! Lindsey will help advocate for you, explain things as they are happening, and support you through all of it! She is amazing.

Thank you Lindsey!

Lindsey came into my life when I needed her the most. Not only was she supportive during my pregnancy but also on a more personal level. From the moment I met her I knew we would be a good pair. It feels like I have known her my whole life and I instantly felt so comfortable with her. My home birth was everything I could have dreamed of and I truly think it wouldn't have happened that way without her. Lindsey, I will always be so extremely grateful for your kindness and support. You are one of the most wonderful human beings I have ever known and you have impacted my life in such a positive way. I truly wish you all the best!

Our birth story started earlier than expected and didn’t go “as planned” but Lindsey’s kindness and support helped us feel confident and in control throughout the entire journey. Whether it was a reminder to breathe or calm words of encouragement, she always seemed to know just what I needed to hear and just when it was time to try something new. Lindsey made all the difference in creating a positive birth experience for us and we are incredibly grateful to have had her by our side as we brought our baby girl into this world. We wouldn’t consider doing it again without her.

Thank you, Lindsey!

We would, without a doubt, recommend Lindsey to help make your journey to delivery memorable. Our baby came fast and furious - because Lindsey was on the ball, she was able to arrive just in time to provide us with the support we needed to bring our girl earth-side. She calmly coached us through the final stages, completely in sync with our midwives that she just met moments before, allowing for our perfect home delivery. Lindsey is intuitive, supportive and compassionate and will surely enhance your birthing experience in whatever capacity you and your partner require. We couldn’t imagine our story without her and feel so lucky to have had her as our doula.

We used Lindsey as our doula with our third pregnancy and birth. With the uncertainty of the pandemic (combined with a less than ideal birth experience with a different doula for our second pregnancy), we were unsure if we would be using a doula this time around. From the minute we contacted Lindsey she was warm, caring, attentive and loving. You can tell that Lindsey truly loves her job and genuinely cares for each of her clients. She was always available to answer questions and concerns, and frequently checked in to see how my husband and I were doing. Prior to delivery she made sure to find out exactly what preferences my husband and I had, along with what type of support we wished for her to provide. When it was time for delivery, Lindsey came in focused and ready to help. Her words of encouragement, hip compressions and assistance with getting the baby into the right position were unparalleled. She remained calm, on task, professional and engaged for the entire birth and delivery, even when I was doubting my own abilities. I have no doubt that I would not have been able to have a successful, unmedicated birth without Lindsey’s help. Post delivery, Lindsey continued to check in on myself and our family, and even surprised us with a beautiful letter to our daughter. I truly cannot say enough positive things about Lindsey. She emanates warmth and compassion, and has a calm and caring disposition. As a mother of three, I can say without hesitation that Lindsey is an absolutely incredible doula. I would recommend her in a heartbeat, and it makes me sad knowing that my own family is now complete and I won’t be able to use Lindsey as my doula again.

Lindsey was my doula, as a first time mother. My partner and I were planning a hospital birth with our midwife and I had been encouraged to find a doula by my other mom friends. To be honest, when I imagined my baby’s birth i wasn’t sure how much of a role I envisioned a doula playing as I am a very private person and anticipated my labor to be a private experience shared with my partner until it was time for the midwife to join us. Despite this, Lindsey and I had a great first meeting and I was welcoming of having the additional support at my fingertips.

Having Lindsey’s support during my labor and birth ended up being the single best decision I have ever made that was exclusively for ME.

Lindsey has an incredible intuition for exactly what is welcome, wanted and needed in any given moment; whether that is to allow space or to offer physical support. I had no idea how much I would rely on her support in the moment.

In the end my planned hospital birth was a quick arrival by baby at home in the shower and while my partner dealt with informing our midwife (and EMS) Lindsey ensured I was never alone and held space in the best possible way for me.

This is her most incredible talent; to sense exactly what YOU need in the moment. She really is a superwoman and I cannot fathom how my birth experience would have been, without her. Thank you Lindsey for sharing this incredible experience with us, we are forever grateful and I am forever bonded with you in love and sisterhood.

We are so thankful for the support and guidance Lindsey gave us during our pregnancy and especially during labour and delivery. My husband and I were so grateful that Lindsey was with us offering emotional and physical support, our experience would have been 100% different without her there. She was constantly checking in with both of us to make sure we were ok mentally and physically and when our plans changed to an emergency cesarean she was incredibly calm and kept us calm. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us and would 100% recommend Lindsey if you are thinking of adding a doula to your birth team.

From the moment I started talking to Lindsey during our consultation, I knew she was exactly what I needed when I embarked on my first pregnancy journey. My main concern was that although I didnt expect her to agree with my views, I NEEDED her to respect mine and to meet me where I was at with them. She said this was very important to her, and through my entire pregnancy and birth experience, she did not disappoint. She guided me with questions about pregnancy and birth, and was very clear about which questions were more suited for my midwifery team. She was always available to chat, whether I had just had a bad day, or if I had a concern. Lindsey has a way of mirroring your feelings, while also asking the right questions that get you thinking or feeling good/better. We had many laughs, even during active labour, and when that time came I felt completely comfortable and empowered with her there. She guided me through positioning, and breathing techniques that ultimately gave me the most amazing birth story; better than I could have imagined. As a first time mom being told my labour would likely be long, and that I would probably go way overdue... Lindsey helped me manifest my two hour umedicated homebirth. She never doubted me. If you are wondering if hiring a doula is worth it... Lindsey is game changing!

Lindsey is an extremely kind, caring, and compassionate doula. Her extensive knowledge around prenatal and birth experiences is both impressive and reassuring, and she has a talent for translating everything into a language that you can understand — even when you’re in active labour and nothing seems to make sense anymore. I also found Lindsey to be incredibly intuitive - she often knew what I needed even when I couldn’t communicate it, and offered comforting solutions that I never would have thought to ask for. I felt deeply supported, seen, and safe from the start of our working together all the way through to the days after our birthing experience and beyond. Even my husband felt deeply supported and grateful for her presence, as she helped him feel more comfortable in his role in the delivery room, too. She was incredible to have as a part of my birth team, and if I ever decide to have another baby, she will be the first person I call!

We knew Lindsey was our doula as soon as we met her. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and seen, she is warm while still remaining professional. Her background is extremely well rounded and because of it she provides a comprehensive practice to her clients. She was able to support me physically and emotionally through my first pregnancy with a yoga practice that was incredibly helpful in adjusting to my body’s changes. When my labor and delivery demanded difficult decisions from me Lindsey was there to offer information, ensure I was being heard, and to help me adjust to changing plans. She was equally supportive of my husband during our labor and waited for us to return from the OR so she could provide care after our cesarean delivery. Even after our baby girl finally arrived Lindsey remained to assist our transition into parenthood and helped out just like a member of our family would have. She was a blessing during the most difficult and the most happy times and we couldn’t have gotten through the roller coaster of bringing our first baby into the world without her caring and expertise. 100% would recommend :)

The birth of our son was a life event that we will always remember and we could not have asked for a better birth coach than Lindsey.  From the beginning of our engagement with Lindsey we found her to be professional, knowledgable, approachable and supportive as a coach and mentor throughout the course of the pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

During the birthing process everything changed when Lindsey arrived in the L&D room. She was calming and reassuring to both myself and my partner, was able to read the room and very quickly partnered with the nursing staff to coach me through the labour. I can confidently say that she contributed to a positive birthing experience, one that went exactly as we had hoped for.

So many things I could talk about; like answering our texts and calls with knowledge and empathy, writing a beautiful birth story for us,  taking pictures during the birth, and yoga, just to name a few.

Lindsey is an excellent Doula. She provided emotional, physical, and knowledge based support during pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum. We are so grateful to have had her and  will always consider her a dear family friend.

My husband and I hired Lindsay as our Doula for the birth of our first child. I am so grateful for all of her indispensable support that she provided leading up to the birth and throughout labour and delivery. Lindsey was an absolute rock star and was up with us for 24 hours straight both at home and at the hospital for my long labour! She was so amazing throughout the whole process, giving my husband the space to have breaks as needed and coaching me through my labour in the most supportive way possible. She was very hands on and involved the entire time and provided so much both emotional and physical support and relief.

Lindsey also took so many wonderful pictures for us during the labour and delivery - these are incredible moments that I will treasure forever! She also wrote the most wonderful birth story for us which will be a keepsake we will share with our son once he's older.

I was able to have such an empowering, positive and healthy birth experience and much of that is thanks to all of Lindsey’s incredible coaching and care!

Lindsey was our first experience with a doula and she was wonderful! She provided timely advice and made both my husband and I feel comfortable and prepared (as you can be) for the birth of our daughter. She has a calm demeanor while also being professional and informative. You won't be disappointed with your choice in Lindsey to help navigate this beautiful experience. Thank you Lindsey!

From the minute I met with Lindsey she gave me such a sense of comfort and ease- I knew immedatly I would hire her for my 3rd home birth. Lindsey was great at checking in on me and keeping in touch throughout my pregancy. She is so knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions I had for her. During my birth she promply arrived and immedialty stepped in to help ease my rollercoaster of contractions. Lindsey quickly adapted to try anything I requested of her keeping me calm, present and in the moment while offering words of encouragement to keep me going. She did everything we had discussed in my birth plan and more. Lindsey was such an amazing birth coach that went above any beyond, she took picutures and send the most amazing birth story. It was so great to have the prespective of someone else in the room, this was truly something so special and she captured it perfectly. I couldnt of imagined a more perfect birth experience to bring my daughter into this world and am so happy to have shared it with Lindsey.

I am not sure how to put into words how wonderful Lindsey is. I feel absolutely honoured to have had her be a part of the birth of my baby. Having her there brought me a sense of calm and confidence going into labour that I didn't know was possible. She kept me well informed about my options for birth and was incredibly supportive of my wishes. I am so thankful for her guidance and for helping me achieve such a positive birth experience.

Lindsey is one of those people that you meet for the first time and feel like you’ve known them forever. A few minutes into our first meeting, I just knew that she was meant to be my doula and support me during my birth journey. She asked insightful  questions that made me feel as though she deeply wanted to know how best to support myself and my husband during labour. Her calm and intuitive nature show that she was born to be in this intimate and nurturing role. The support that Lindsey offered during labour and afterwards meant the world to our family, especially navigating those tough moments. When we felt like we were struggling, Lindsey was able to guide us through us through it with validation and compassion.

I am truly lucky for having met her; I got a doula but I also gained a friend

I can say without any hesitation that Lindsey is the only reason I made it through the birth of my second child.

I was due Christmas Eve and by early December I was so uncomfortable that I hoped I would go into labor early. On the night of December 10th that happened. It was just after 11pm when I knew that the discomfort I was feeling was more than just discomfort.

I was off to the hospital as quickly as possible and upon arriving I was examined; I was at 9.5cm and in agony. This labor was hard and fast and nothing like my first, I didn’t have time for pain medications and because the pain was so intense I couldn’t focus. My contractions were back to back and I didn’t have a moment in between to regroup or even catch my breath.

Thankfully, Lindsey arrived shortly after I did. She was with me every step of the way. It was at this moment that I realized the true gift that Lindsey has. She kept me calm, reassuring me through each contraction. Her voice, her presence, the gentle way about her. Everything she did, everything she said was the right thing. It was an experience that I almost find hard to adequately describe.

My son arrived at 2:11am on December 11th. The first time Lindsey held my son and I saw the true love in her eyes for him, I knew that I had made the right decision to have her by my side.
